Everything was wonderful, except the hostess at the roof top restaurant refused to let us have dinner because the surfers were coming and there woukd not be any room for us. It was my Birthday and we were celebrating with our daughter and granddaughter, we felt so dismissed and she basically told us to go the bar and order there. We noticed she allowing othes into the dining area and bringing them blankets. My husband is a dialysis patient and was cold, so we ordered chicken wings and headed back to our room early. The front desk was very helpful the forgot to give the breakfast tickets, but they call us later that evening for us to pick them up. Please note we loved the hotel and cleaning staff does an amazing job. Thank you

Bad experience overall. We showed up to the hotel to check in. Upon arrival, front desk staff told us that our room had been downgraded because they over sold. We had booked an ocean view for our anniversary. After going back and forth with the staff, our room was not going to be an ocean view. Staff just told us that next time to put a message on the box that it’s our anniversary or to become a Hilton member so that it doesn’t happen again. Our new room was a “partial view” of the ocean. Sure, we had to lean over in the balcony to see the ocean. They gave us a discount to our reservation, $100 to spend on site, and waived our parking for the night. Now what that meant was that I had to stay on site to spend my $100. Whatever plans we came in with, was thrown out the window. Staff kept on asking how it was going, we kept on telling them our experience and they just apologized. No manager ever spoke with us nor checked in. Situation like this not only make the hotel look bad but also the little beach town that is “the best little beach town”.

Staff does not know how to communicate. I pre paid for a deluxe room with king bed and when I walked into my room it was two queens. I went back to the lobby and advised them they put us in the wrong room. They then told us there was an issue with our room and that’s all they could give us. They should have told me the first time and credited me money back for the room

It was a nice place, far beyond my expectations. It didn't have a restaurant inside the hotel, but there were plenty around within walking distance.
