Parking was convenient

After a very long drive the Doors were all locked when we arrived to check in around 8:30/9pm. Drove around trying different doors until we happened to catch a girl taking garbage out to let us in. One we were in she was very quick and helpful taking us right to our room. The bed was very noisy and the walls are very thin so you hear everything in the room next door. The property is beautiful, didn’t get to the winery as it was already closed when we arrived. Would have loved more than 1 coffee in our room as there was 2 of us and maybe offer something for breakfast.

It was dark when we arrived, and unclear which entrance we needed to go in. More light/lit signage would have helped. Travelocity showed breakfast included, but there was none. Otherwise, clean, comfortable, spacious, unique.

Felt like a nice bed and breakfast. Really friendly staff and easy check and and out. Will stay again. Tesla charger was a plus as well. With parking out back the elevator was close and minimal walking required.

Need an ice machine and soda/ water available to get on 3rd floor Wish could have gotten wine after hours since we paid to stay there . Room was not recleaned or refilled with towels or coffee . We did love the stay just wish that someone was more available afterhours

Unique. Quiet. Large room. Like sleeping at home. This is a working winery. Workers outside at 6am. Don't expect anyone around to help you. Not sure if there was anyone on the property but the guests at night.

We had a very nice stay; however, there are some areas that could be improved upon. We were very confused as to where to check in at. The entire property lacked signs from where to check in to where to find the cemetery. We had very little interaction with staff, as the only staff there when we checked in and throughout our 2 night stay was the bar staff. The entrance to the rooms was in the back of the building. The guests entrance was very uninviting. The elevator area was dirty and dingy. The suite also needed to be cleaned a little better. It did not appear as though the rug had been vacuumed in quite some time. The wooden floors needed a good sweeping too. The room was spacious, but felt very sterile with no wall decor. Some of the furniture in the suite was in poor shape and needed replaced. The bed was squeaky but very comfortable. It is a very unique property and we enjoyed the overall experience.

Overall this place is nice and the history behind it is cool. It’s very quit and there’s a bar right inside the hotel which is nice and convenient.

Interesting old building renovated into a winery, wedding venue and hotel. Hotel guest parking right by the elevator. Staff was friendly and helpful. Easy driving to suburban shopping and dining in the Liberty area. We chose this hotel due to its interesting history and proximity to Kansas City. I would stay there again if I was in the area.

I'll start with a positive, wine, bar, grounds super Coolio, so was worth coming here. The place needs a deep clean. The Bridal Suite had not been cleaned, the bathroom mirror dusty, smudges, the shower curtain had bacterial film of Serratia marcescens growing for quite some time, toilet and toilet brush, barf. Coffee and ice bucket were filthy, floors had hair and flies. Crumbs on couch. We used cleaning supplies next door and cleaned. Bed was clean (no bed bugs), but dirty pillow case in corner.

The rooms are very spacious with a sitting area and everything was spotlessly clean. The property is historic and has an estate feel.

The place was interesting if not a little dirty. There were a couple bugs in the room, but I think that’s to be expected in an old building. The bed was very comfortable and the aesthetic was charming. The wine tasting bar was cute and the bartender Ashley was very nice and fun to talk to.

This property is really neat with all the history and charm but the cleanliness was the biggest issue. The floors were not swept at all. We walked around with shoes on because it was pretty bad. There was dust bunnies even in the corner, it was apparent that it had not been swept in a while. Had the floors been cleaned, it would have felt more comfortable. Due to the oldness of the building, there is a lack of insulation between the walls/doors. You can hear everything in the hallway and they can hear you. At one point in the middle of the night someone jiggled our door handle making it sound like they were trying to get into the room. The AC had a difficult time keeping up with how hot it was, being on the 3rd level and the beginning of summer, was hot trying to sleep. Love the smart tv and the size the room.

I enjoyed my stay. The room was clean with modern amenities yet still had the charm of a building built in 1900. I would stay here again.

We had a fine stay here, however, it wasn’t the cleanest, quietest or most comfortable stay. We were looking for a quiet place outside of Kansas City so it was fine for that. When we entered our room it had a very bad smell and there was a lot of hair and a condom wrapper still on the floor. This was unacceptable. The walls were paper thin and you could hear the people next door loud and clear. The bed was not very comfortable. The building is definitely cool and worth a visit but maybe not for a stay.

It was fine for what it was. Room wasn't as clean as I'd expect, i.e. tub hair catcher had hairs and debris caught from more than just the most recent guest, plastic cup of liquid of some kind from previous guests sitting in window frame, bug carcasses on the floor by the windows, small stuff like that. Not cleanliness related, but noticeable that the bathroom vanity light fixture had two different shades of bulbs which made it off-putting to have them on. Overall it was what I needed as I just needed a place to crash for the night, but places like this hold so much potential to provide particularly delightful, unadvertised and unexpected personal touches to the hospitality experience and that wasn't my experience here, this time. Definitely worth staying, though, if unique inns attract you (they do me)!

Great setting and old building with a rich history. Room was not clean—rug had not been vacuumed and also had stains and the bedside table had something sticky on the top. Also could not turn fan on HVAC system to circulate air.

We went for a weekend getaway to celebrate our anniversary. This was an incredible find. The winery is in the Odd Fellows Home administration building. It is the lone restored building on the campus of the abandoned Odd Fellows Home old folk's home, orphanage, and hospital. There was a school building for the orphans, as well. If you like haunted and abandoned places, this is definitely your place. There are supposedly ghosts about, but we were left alone. The museum downstairs does have a skeleton, though. The inn itself has plenty of space for meetings, banquets, or weddings. The bar offers tastings for a reasonable price. The rooms are very spacious and quiet, except for a vent in the bathroom that banged a little in the wind- dispapointingly, it wasn't a ghost. There is a kitchenette on the guest floor and a seating area with board games. This would be a great place to host a family reunion. There are no dining options on site, but the town of Liberty isn't t that far of a drive. We had breakfast downtown. Kansas City Plaza is about a half-hour drive, and we visited our favorite restaurant for dinner. Everything is close enough to be accessible, but you still get the feeling of being in the country. Overall, excellent stay. Great staff, comfy, clean, quiet, conveniently located, and lots of fun. Take the time to walk the grounds. It is incredible. The property is lovely. They have remodeled the main building. It is beautiful and the rooms are well done and very comfortable. It is very quiet and serene. We watched deer and other critters from our window in the evening. We slept well and the bathroom was roomy with a good shower. Within 10 minutes or less, you could be at numerous restaurants and shops. Liberty is a lovely town. I would highly recommend staying here

Nice place but able to hear every sound from the neighboring room. Woke up tons due to neighbors loud snoring. Needs better soundproofing or spacing of occupants.

The Belvoir Winery Inn is different! It is an old historic place, so don’t expect a super modern experience. We checked in at the bar, which was a little unexpected but went very smoothly. There is a place to park in the back for the Inn guests. The room we had was spacious with a large bathroom, a sitting area and bedroom. The TV had over the air channels but no cable/satellite that I could tell. There were old hardwood floors throughout the room. It’s an historic inn, so yes, the floors squeak. The bed said queen in the room description, but it seemed like a full size to us. At the bar you can taste their wines, which was a great way to end our evening. Overall a very unique experience!

Unfortunately, we had an awful experience. We were very tired and were looking forward to a good time sleep. The walls are quite thin and our neighbors kept us up all night. Starting at 1 am until 4 am, we heard them talking loud, laughing, banging stuff around. And then we had to listen to them having sex with the bed banging against the wall. It was until we were ready to leave that we found the ear plugs that supplied. Will not stay here again.

Terrible property, unsafe, dirty, dirty room, dirty towels, smelt like mildew and musty, dirty shower, thin walls can hear everything, nobody on property to help, was so hot and thermos was locked so we couldn’t change it, the “vineyard” is literally 1 tree. Fountain in the pictures literally looks like it hasn’t been turned on in decades. Abandoned and condemned building next door with all window shot out and graffiti. The bed was suppose to be a queen and it was a full. Place itself was partially boarded up. This place should be under investigation for cleanliness. This place was the worst place I have ever been to, and the pictures are not accurate. It’s in a very unsafe area of MO. Reported this facility. Unsure how they’re still in business.

Great location and the property itself is nice and quiet. BUT...the walls are paper thin, and you hear every little movement, every word spoken by other guests. The room itself was semi-clean. The couch had a super funky smell and the bed was not comfortable. Worse of all, the thermostat was set to go no lower than 70° and the room never got there. Given it was 90+ degrees outside, this was not good at all. Elevator was very warm and smelled bad.

We had a great stay at this unique property! The room was spacious and comfortable. It was updated nicely, while maintaining the charm of the historic building. Communication was good and our after-hours check-in was a breeze.

Such a unique place to stay! I had no idea it was haunted when I booked (I didn't have any encounters). The rooms are beautiful, but they have it so you can't turn the air down past 70 degrees. Made for hot sleeping. The bed was also very squeaky and lots of light came in from the hallway. All that said, it was a fantastic stay. The grounds are beautiful, the wine tasty, and the staff super friendly. If I get brave enough, I will totally stay there again!

The hotel was excellent for us. The winery located in the hotel was a bonus. We enjoyed have a libation before going out to dinner. The hotel is in a secluded area which was great to be in a quiet area.

The place is awesome, highly suggest. It was only about 10 min from the 35 freeway, so easy to get to. It was very close to the beautiful downtown area, as well as other restaurants/bars. I love the history associated with it as well.

This is a great respite on the way to and from my destination. I love the serenity, the accommodations, the hospitality, the wine and the history. George looked so relaxed. I will definitely be back. Thank you for a great alternative to popular hotels.

We came down for Grandsons baseball tournament. It was close to fields. Wonderful settings and a great place to relax with a glass of great wine after the games. Didn't know anything about the history, did a little research and found it very interesting.

If you're looking for a quiet place to stay mid-week, this is a great place. I had the place more or less to myself, so it was very peaceful. I'm sure there is much more going on on weekends, so your mileage my vary, but I had a very calm, relaxing retreat. I saw deer a few times during my stay, and the grounds are a nice size.

Suite was a tiny one room with a separate bathroom. Very noisy outside of room. Uncomfortable bed with one tiny tv. No food offered at all. Have to drive minimum of 5 minutes for any food. Even water!

Very friendly staff; really cool old Odd Fellows home with amazing history. Wonderful wines from winery you can sample at the hotel.

Only thing missing from making this stay 5 stars is the lack of something to drink from 8pm to 11am. We will be back as the winery is absolutely beautiful.

I LOVE this place. It's gorgeous and I'm honored to have had the opportunity to spend a day/night in such a unique space. It is not set up like a traditional inn/hotel. And you must bring your own food as there isn't any on the property.

Cute and comfortable little inn upstairs from the winery. Very soft, comfortable linens. The building is old with lots of character, so the main downside was the creaky floors and sound traveling through the walls. Wine tasting downstairs after settling in the inn for the night was super convenient, and their wines are delicious!
