My room in general was basic but reasonably clean, not bad. One thing, when I opened one cabinet there was a fridge that was not functional and completely fallen apart. Why was it there and not in a damp? While the cabinet was closed I still knew the horrible remnant of the fridge was there and this knowledge freaked me out. I spent most of the day away from the hotel and I just crushed for a few hours before going to the airport, feeling relieved. The shower was fine thanks god. The shuttle was on time and nice driver thanks god. The lobby smelled of marijuana. I do not really mind but other people might. As there are no dining options at the hotel, the hallways tend to be littered by used bags with remnants of take away food, not pretty. My short stay costed me $202.

The reservation didn't go through on expedias end. We showed up at 11 pm at night without any way to get in. We called a few times before the owner picked up. They never got our reservation but they still accommodated us. Very polite and kind. Really appreciated everthing. Room was perfect! Cozy, clean and had a nice little ac. We really enjoyed our stay and wished we could've stayed for longer. Thank you for everything!

Excellent location costing $30 for cab ride from downtown Intercontinental hotel to B&B. Public transit near by to their subway system. King Bed was comfortable with lots of blankets in a very clean house. They have 4 rooms. Breakfast included yogurt, juices, cereal, fresh fruit, boiled eggs, cheese, ham, sausage, toast and coffee. Joan was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

King Bed was comfortable with lots of blankets in a very clean house. They have 4 rooms. Breakfast included yogurt, juices, cereal, fresh fruit, boiled eggs, cheese, ham, sausage, toast and coffee. Joan was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely little B&B, just a half block from the water that separates it from Logan Airport. So there's some noise from planes, but that's to be expected. Everything in the place was really nice, quaint and friendly. Note that although it's "close" to the airport, drive time in morning traffic is 15-20 minutes.

We were really disappointed with our stay. The number one issue, which really tainted the whole experience, was the owner/manager’s attitude. We arrived shortly before 4, the check-in time, and called her asking if we could get the keys. There was a note on the door saying to not call until it was 4, but it close enough that we felt it should be fine. We were told we had to wait until exactly 4 because the cleaning wasn’t finished. We wandered around for another 20 minutes and then approached the door again. At this point it was past 4 and another couple was also waiting to check in, having also been told to come back. The manager/owner walked out a few minutes later, and handed us each a 2-sides piece of paper with instructions for our stay. She told us explicitly not to come

It was a beautiful area, especially this time of year. Joan, our hostess, was very friendly and helpful. Her breakfast was wonderful, and there was plenty of everything. If you left there hungry, it would your own fault. The time I was there I felt at home. Joan was fantastic.

The place itself was very nice and our hostess was very cordial. The breakfast was horrible. She did not ask what we wanted and it was hard boiled eggs and cold ham. There was pancake syrup on the table but no pancakes. It would have been nice to have more options.

It was a beautiful area, especially this time of year. Joan, our hostess, was very friendly and helpful. Her breakfast was wonderful, and there was plenty of everything. If you left there hungry, it would your own fault. The time I was there I felt at home. Joan was fantastic.

My room in general was basic but reasonably clean, not bad. One thing, when I opened one cabinet there was a fridge that was not functional and completely fallen apart. Why was it there and not in a damp? While the cabinet was closed I still knew the horrible remnant of the fridge was there and this knowledge freaked me out. I spent most of the day away from the hotel and I just crushed for a few hours before going to the airport, feeling relieved. The shower was fine thanks god. The shuttle was on time and nice driver thanks god. The lobby smelled of marijuana. I do not really mind but other people might. As there are no dining options at the hotel, the hallways tend to be littered by used bags with remnants of take away food, not pretty. My short stay costed me $202.

Very nice B&B right off the water and 10 minutes from Boston. Hostess made breakfast daily and was great. Will definitely stay at again.......Thank you

This property was beautiful, well appointed, and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious!, and the host was extremely warm and accommodating. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back!

Very hard bed. It was self serve It said a bathroom was attached to bedroom and it was down the hall. It was in need of repair.

I had such a great stay at the Chateau sur Mer. I used to live in Boston, so I was coming back for a bit of a nostalgia visit. I chose this spot due to price (compared to regular hotels in Boston proper) and I am glad I did. Winthrop is still super close to the city (you can get there by ferry or bus/T) and it was great to get to experience a new area in addition to revisiting known areas. The b&b was quaint as hell. It's got character, it was clean, my room had a water view and the breakfast was lovely. Would definitely recommend staying here.

B&B is conveniently located not far from the airport and by the bay. Lots of places to eat within a walking distance. The entire place looks like a museum. The room was absolutely phenomenal.

Beautiful and quiet oasis. Friendly staff and easy check in process. Restaurants were in walking distance and only 28-30 minute drive to the airport. We were able to ise public transit to arrive and found a local cabbie to take us for departure.

Lovely place, very quiet.Beautiful area/houses. We walked a couple blocks to terrific restaurants. Very convenient to airport, no traffic issues at all. Highly recommend!
