One could not find a better location; at the entrance to Peninsula Park! All workers were very friendly and I got a wonderful "good morning" each day from a staff member. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything I needed.

Room was spacious, clean and well appointed. Bed very comfortable. Jetted tub was nice, though the bubbles were a bit “overactive” unless turned down all the way. Companion restaurant is first class. Will definitely stay there again.

Stayed for just one night and wish we could have stayed longer. We arrived a couple of hours before check inn and the girl at the front desk told us our room wasn’t ready but took my number and called shortly after that saying we could check inn early. Our room was very clean, beds were comfy and the bathroom was very spacious. All staff was very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again when we’re in the area.

Great location. Comfortable beds. Nice restaurant on site for breakfast. The air conditioner was noisy so we unplugged it (not a problem in October). The metal walkway to the second floor rooms was very loud and squeaky. Maybe that’s a nice feature- no one can sneak up on you in the night! 😉

Loved that they not only allowed dogs but welcomed them and provided towels and blankets for them, a very cute touch! The motel is also at the entrance to state park which was nice to walk in. We stayed on the second floor and did not enjoy how loud and noisy the porch around the second floor is. It's difficult to describe but is made of material similar to a boat dock and so every time someone walked by it was crazy loud and creaked. It was waking us up at all times of the night/early morning when people were coming and going.

I booked one room for three nights, and was bounced out of my room after one night, even with showing the clerk my confirmation numbers. Worse yet, my credit card has been charged for all 3 nights. What a nightmare, I could not have been less pleased. The desk clerk said that she had no record of my reservation, even tho that was done way in advance and billed to my credit card.

I loved the peace of the surrounding area, the easy walk into town, and also the state park and lake view minutes away! Also, two staff members I encountered were so warmly welcoming, down to earth, and personable. I felt seen as a guest, rather than just like a number for business.

Had a major snowstorm that took out power while we were there. Backup generator kept us cozy overnight snd staff checked in to see what we needed due to 12 inches falling overnight and brought lanterns should we need them.

This motel was very clean, beds were very comfortable and the staff was friendly. The restaurant food was excellent and the staff did great. We went on Memorial weekend and we got seated right away and our food was served within 5 minutes after we ordered and they were packed. Lots of choices on their menu as well. This motel is located right outside the Peninsula State park so it was convenient for us for biking and hiking. And this motel is close enough to the shops and restaurants that you could walk and leave your car parked at the motel. We will definitely stay again.

Updated rooms that are pet-friendly - and Coconut made many new friends. Electric fireplace was nice, The tv had every imaginable channel (we mostly watched Door County youtube videos), wifi was good, if a little too slow for uploading large camera raw files. Whirlpool tub in the main part of the room felt a little odd. Location in Fish Creek right on the Peninsula State Park entrance road was ideal. Nice Cafe serves Breakfast and Lunch, and fresh baked cinnamon buns - opens at 7 before anywhere else nearby, and many people come from other places to eat there. About 2 miles to sunset beach which is one of the best places in Fish Creek to catch a sunset and I shot many pictures in the park. Price was better than many nearby lodges. We would definitely stay again!

Electric fireplace was nice, The tv had every imaginable channel (we mostly watched Door County youtube videos), wifi was good, if a little too slow for uploading large camera raw files. Whirlpool tub in the main part of the room felt a little odd. Location in Fish Creek right on the Peninsula State Park entrance road was ideal. Nice Cafe serves Breakfast and Lunch, and fresh baked cinnamon buns - opens at 7 before anywhere else nearby, and many people come from other places to eat there. About 2 miles to sunset beach which is one of the best places in Fish Creek to catch a sunset and I shot many pictures in the park. Price was better than many nearby lodges. We would definitely stay again!

This place is super welcoming to people woth pets, and the location, just outside Peninsula State Park, is excellent. I'd definitely stay here again.

Love my overnight stay at Julie’s. Room and bathroom were spotless. My only suggestion is to refurbish the 2nd floor walkway as it squeaks with almost every footstep and is very noisy with roller luggage. I was awoken after midnight with someone checking in. Really no fault of theirs but it was noisy.

Our stay was nice at Julie’s. Our room was clean, affordable, bed was comfortable, air-conditioning was great since it qas hot and humid. It was close to Fish Creek which was a fun, little town and very close to hiking and biking trails on Lake Michigan.
