IntercityHotel Salalah

Excellent hotel with friendly, attentive staff. I spent 4 nights here. The room was spacious and very clean. Excellent housekeeping staff. Breakfast was excellent. Located near the big mosque which was nice to see. Highly recommended.

Staff were great, the location is nice, and breakfast was plentiful. My suggestion to the hotel would be to invest in better ventilation and/or drainage. But for a short visit, it was great!

Staff friendly and helpful. Gym needs some work as some equipment doesn't work.

Mold on the bathroom and bedroom ceiling. The walls were too thin - could hear conversations in the adjacent room if the AC was off. Could hear kids crying across the hall. The doorbells in adjacent rooms would seem like someone was ringing the bell in our room as the walls were so thin. Could hear the adjoining rooms alarm clock at 5 am. Happened both mornings we were there. Was a non smoking floor but someone was smoking in their room. The hallway stank when we got out of the elevators one evening. The towel had a lipstick stain on it. Would not recommend this hotel nor would I be staying in it again. Breakfast was decent.

I had previously stayed at the Intercity Muscat and was so impressed that I booked Intercity Salalah on my next trip. This hotel is absolutely beautiful and right in Central Salalah. Rooms are beautifully appointed and very comfortable although the bed was a little hard. It was nice to have a balcony but it was very small and not even a seat out there. Service here was absolutely impeccable. The staff cannot do enough for you. The pool is very small and very shallow. That was a little disappointing. Breakfast buffet was also a little disappointing but I don't think there were many guests staying there and having more choices would just lead to more waste. The hotel is very modern and clean. It was delightful to stay at. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation.
