Terra Biohotel

At approximately 11:00 PM, I went to the front desk seeking assistance for a broken toe. When I arrived, I was the only person in the lobby. The receptionist appeared to be on a personal phone call, so I sat down on the couch in the lobby and waited. During this time, I was experiencing significant pain and had difficulty standing and walking. The receptionist did not acknowledge me. When other guests later entered the lobby, she immediately greeted them and began assisting them and checking them in before addressing me, despite the fact that I had arrived first and was already in the middle of requesting ice. When I requested ice for my injury, the receptionist repeatedly stated that no ice was available, even though the ice machine was clearly visible and audible in the coffee shop directly across from the reception desk. She initially refused to provide anything to place the ice in. After I retrieved a shower cap myself, the receptionist placed ice into the shower cap using her bare hands. This was concerning, as the ice from this machine is used for the hotel’s coffee shop and for guest consumption. When I requested additional ice due to ongoing pain, she refused. The lack of acknowledgment, denial of basic assistance, and unsanitary handling of consumable ice, particularly while I was clearly in pain and present before other guests, was unacceptable.

Came here for my birthday and was immediately drawn in by the greenery, the hotel is more beautiful in person. The staff here are incredibly kind and will give great recommendations for places to go to in the city! Our rooms were refreshed everyday and housekeeping even arranged our shoes and clothes which was very kind of them. Views from our balcony room peered out towards the mountainside, and it was truly beautiful to witness every morning, rain or shine. When I come back to Medellín I’ll be booking here again!

Good location, friendly staff (although they spoke very little english) comfortable beds. The only complaint was the fake bird chirping sounds that went on 24/7

The hotel was very nice. The staff is friendly and ready to serve. My only complaint was the mattress very uncomfortable. Please invest in proper bedding. Your guests will love it. It’s a win win.
