Cosmopolitano Hotel Boutique

Hôtel agréable et confortable situé à quelques minutes du centre ville. Petit déjeuner copieux et bon.

We stayed at the Cosmopolitan in Santa Cruz both before and after our tour of the missions. During both stays we found the staff to be very helpful and courteous, the included breakfast was great and the dining areas were open at all hours for a snack or sweet. The rooms were comfortable and the bathroom large and well equipped. The hotel is located in the area we wanted, by a central plaza , near many shops and restaurants.

De todos os cafés da manhã de hotéis que me hospedei, esse foi o único servido individualmente, como se fosse um brunch e não um self service, algo que me surpreendeu positivamente. O quarta também era muito peculiar, pois o banheiro ficava em uma área com um teto de vidro. No geral o hotel é muito bonito e organizado, vejo oportunidade de algumas pequenas manutenções, mas que não impactam a experiência e não diminuem a minha nota.

Wonderful staff, great food, big bathroom, just wonderful

This is a silly hotel. They claim to be boutique but it does not seem to be run like a hotel. No front desk but check in through the restaurant staff downstairs. Staff are friendly but seem out of their element. Too young and inexperienced. Breakfast was frustrating as the waiter had to run across the street to another shop for coffee. It was raining so he had to grab his umbrella and tray to get me a coffee. Isn’t that silly? Rooms are up one flight and no offer from staff to carry my bag. If it’s raining you are exposed to the rain as you go to your room. “Swimming pool” is about as big as a hot tub. Shower in my room was separated from room by glass wall so I hope you like seeing your partner naked as they shower. I was alone so no issue. TV was unplugged when I arrived in my room and I had to set it up myself. With some necessary changes, it could be a nice hotel but at this stage, I would look elsewhere.
