My husband and I were honeymooning in Iceland in a camper van, we decided to splurge and get a cabin on one of our last nights. Super friendly staff and the restaurant was so tasty (although pricey but that is Iceland). Breakfast was a little costly but the food was really good and had good options, so adding it is 100% worth it. Rooms were super nice, modern with a nice view and tons of natural light. The downside was the showers. They got cold in two minutes. Like freezing. We were warned that they were heated via a boiler but we thought we have more than two minutes of hot water. My only other complaint would be that the coffee cups in the room were tiny, like espresso size but no espresso or espresso machines. This was disappointing because we were looking forward to morning coffee in bed with the nice view. All in all the hotel was nice but not worth the money, these two things - although minor- prevent me from giving it 5 stars.

Great home base to visit the attractions on the peninsula. We were very impressed with how comfortable we were, very clean, very convenient. We stayed in the cottages and purchased the breakfast for the morning and it was all wonderful. It was a perfect start to our trip.

The cottage is very cute and cozy and exactly what we needed! One of the best stays of our 2 week trip. Big shower, big comfy bed and good blackout curtains. Contactless check in was very smooth as well
