Property is clean and support desk is very kind. For the price of a room one can get much nicer in the area. The Restaurant has excellent drinks but the service is horrible. The food is very limited but good. Definitely don't come here for the food there are many better options a few blocks away. The Restaurant is a little in disarray, broken tables and several holes in the floor.

It’s such a social hostel and they provide a lot of free and budget-friendly activities throughout Mexico City.

As a first time hostel experience I can say that for the most part, things went pretty good. The only place where I can recomment improvement on is during check in. There was a female on a computer explaining amenities to 3 guest females. I stood there waiting for a pause so that I could ask about check in because there is no counter or window to separate staff from guests so it can be confusing on who the employees are. I was never acknowledged and had to interrupt to ask if that was where the check in was. The female answered with a single yes and continued her brief and left without further acknowledgement. A male was standing in line behind me and then proceeded to help me with my check in process. Check in process was overall somewhat confusing and a bit rude. The stay after that was smooth and the restaurant-bar staff was friendly. There is security staff and the enterance access doors are locked at night so it made me feel safe.

Casa Pepe está muy cerca del Zócalo. Tienen un bar arriba donde disfrutas del ambiente con buena música y bebidas. Todos los trabajadores son muy amables. Si no conoces la CDMX, tienen guía de turistas. Todo muy bien!

Great, social hostel. Well located near the Historical Center, and near the metro to go to other parts of the city. Many activities organized during the day and at night, but as always your experience regarding socializing will vary according to the other guests and the season. The bar is good, albeit slightly overpriced compared to other places around, but it is to be expected for a hostel bar. The Historical Center is active from 6 AM, so you might get woken up from the street sounds. The included breakfast, if selected, are either chilaquiles or toast, with unlimited filtered coffee. I recommend the chilaquiles rather than the toast.

Beautiful, affordable, safe, and convenient hostel right in the center of Mexico City. All communal areas and bedrooms are very clean and have everything you need. They have events every day for guests. The rooftop bar and restaurant is amazing and very pretty too. All the workers and guests were very friendly too. Perfect for solo travelers. I can't recommend Casa Pepe enough!

It’s a nice hostel, but they did not inform me that walking tours are canceled. They fixed the electrical in my room once I escalated it. I would not mind staying there again, but it was just a situation where as their laundry was not working and for someone who has a private room they should have reimbursed my laundromat expenses. Overall, I do recommend the hostel because it was clean and neat

Pros - free walking tour each day, good internet, good for socialising and meeting fellow travellers when travelling solo. Cons - cleanliness - the female dorm i stayed in had bed bugs, and the toilet was broken, doorms can get a little warm at the start of the evening until laterin the evening when they cool down as no fans or AC.

Upon arrival the impression of the hostel was as described, but I was assigned a room that was not as pictured, so I asked the front desk to help me change, to that they answered with no direct solution, but to ask the manager on shift in the morning. I also contacted hotels.com and they offered some one key cash credit but I wanted immediate solution as I did not feel comfortable in the room first given (I could not even sit up straight in my bunk, and that seemed bare minimum). It was only after some back and forth and on my part soft insistence that finally I switched to a room with bunks I could sit up in because it was located in the second floor where it had higher ceilings and the beds were built to the height otherwise they were built so short that sitting up without hitting my head was not possible. The hotel itself was not the cleanest, nor the tidiest, the pictures on Hotels.com are at least 7 years old (I was told by a volunteer that used to work there), and the state of the hotel a bit worn down. The showers don’t work well and nor do the drains, and being an older building with original steelwork and glass windows and right on the busy Centro street corner, there was never a moment of quiet, so light sleepers beware. However I will state the bed and linen are comfortable, if only they could improve the shower and bathroom facilities, and install doors to rooms that are more solid so hallway noises aren’t adding to the already insistent street noises.

Beautiful, modern eclectic and very clean! Staff is phenomenal, very helpful and professional. Lots of free activities, excursions as well as reasonable priced longer excursions. Would absolutely recommend and stay again as well as stay at other locations they have.

I was given no information or details on arrival other than the bed I was given which seemed dirty and had another person’s name still written, had to ask about everything along the line, felt like they were in a rush but no one was waiting, the evening waiter is also a bit rude, the place is really clean but I would not stay in a shared room in this place, on Friday morning they had music really loud on the front desk since like 6am, they had no information that this was a VIP Access Hotel with Expedia so if you are a gold member just be aware there do not provide this.

it was in the noicyest part of mexico. The hotel was dangerous, The motel had no air conditioning, so it 90f degrees in the room. There were no telephones, no towels, and no toilet paper.

La habitación que me dieron no tenía tina que según si incluía la reservación y comentaron que no era culpa de ellos sino de la app. No me dieron la bebida de cortesia porque no llegue en el horario especifico para ello y lo que reserve mencionaban que la tenia. La habitación estaba comoda, pero no fue lo reservado.
