Staff courteous and helpful arranging taxi transfer back to airport. Room itself was ok , faulty light switch & rainhead shower faulty. No room to put out cases and small wardrobe. Noise levels poor both through walls and corridor noise. Street noise with trams going past caused disturbed sleep and no long lie. Pool small , sauna small.

Неплохой отель, чисто, удобные матрас и подушки. Вода из крана горячая, отличный напор. Смена белья и туалетных принадлежностей каждый день. Персонал вежливый, ненавязчивый. По-русски говорят плохо, но всегда удавалось объясниться, всегда старались помочь. Спа очень небольшой, хамам холодный, но бассейн вполне- можно поплавать и глубина нормальная. Местоположение очень удобное, близко от достопримечательностей старого города на обеих сторонах Галатского моста.

All the staff was amazing to us. Always willing to help until the end. Last minute big taxi to the airport for all our luggage. The roof top great food and wonderful. The pool, the sauna. Our rooms were comfortable just perfect for us. Thank you Orient Express for everything, hope to come back soon.

Fix the internet speed. Staff is thoughtful, kind and courteous. Jacuzzi and pool are cold. Breakfast is average. They sold out of my room and moved me to a different hotel for 1 night. That had garbage internet and the night guy ignored my internet complaint. Rooms are small but this was disclosed I'm advance.

Hôtel très joli,propre et très bien situé dans le centre-ville de Sirkeci, pas besoin de véhicule proche de tout les monuments historiques. Les chambres sont bien équipées ( climatisation,frigo,télé…)

Un séjour parfait ! L’hôtel est à proximité de tous les monuments historiques et le tram qui passe devant dessert facilement les lieux à visiter. La chambre était très propre.

Cuando llegamos hemos estado la primera noche en dos habitaciones en vez de una suite familiar, con una niña de cuatro años y un niño de siete pues nos hemos tenido que dividir los padres. El desayuno es normal sin más son las mismas cosas todas las mañanas hasta muchas veces se quedan corto en lo que más quiere la gente "croissant". El personal es simpático y la ubicación está genial. Ahora si os toca unos cuartos que dan para la calle principal tenéis el tranvía desde por la mañana bastante pronto, hasta bastante tarde por la noche que hace mucho ruido. Ahora bajo mi punto de vista lo peor es la limpieza de cuando hacen los cuartos.

Auf den Bildern sieht alles ideal aus, aber es ist nicht so märchenhaft, wenn man im Hotel wohnt. Die Zimmer sind zu klein, sie haben das Zimmer 7 Tage lang nicht gesaugt, es werden keine neuen Handtücher gebracht, die Zimmertür funktionierte 2 Tage lang nicht (wir konnten nicht abschließen), und das Frühstück hat eine geringe Auswahl an Speisen. Die Lage ist gut, aber das Hotel ist sehr schlecht.

This hotel is outdated and in need of significant renovation. The bathroom towels are very old and nearly resemble cleaning rags. The sink in the bathroom was leaking, adding to the inconvenience. The reception staff have limited English proficiency, making communication difficult. The breakfast buffet offers the same traditional Turkish breakfast every day, with no alternative options available. Otherwise centrally located near all the major attractions within walking distance and plenty of restaurants around the hotel.

Otelin konumu gayet güzel .Çalışanlar çok nazik ve ilgili,özellikle akşamları resepsiyonda çalışan genç arkadaş çok nazik, yardımsever, güleryüzlü ve çok kibar. Otel temizlik yönünden çok zayıf maalesef ,pencereyi açıyorsunuz toz , toprak içinde resmen, duvarlar çok kirli, resepsiyon telefonu o kadar kirli ki dokunmak istemiyordum. Duş aparatı su kaçırıyordu.Nevresimler o kadar yıpranmış ki temiz oldukları bile belli olmuyordu. Otelin kahvaltısı bu standartta bir otel için tatminkardı. Ürünler çok kaliteli değildi ama yeterince çeşitliydi. Bizim kaldığımız odada sık aralıklarla başlayan ve uzunca süren çok rahatsız edici bir ritimde pat pat gibi bir ses vardı maalesef .Otelden ayrıldığımız gün valizimizi saat 18:00 a kadar ücretsiz saklama hizmeti verdiler. Nous avons passé 8 nuits dans cet hôtel idéalement situé, à deux pas de Sainte-Sophie et proche des transports. Le personnel est aimable, la piscine en sous-sol agréable — bref, sur le papier, tout pour plaire. Mais une fois la porte franchie, le “haut de gamme” promis semble être resté à la réception. Climatisation qui fuit, rideaux décrochés, porte de douche manquante, ménage expéditif… et même du linge sale trouvé sous le lit. Le petit-déjeuner paraît généreux à première vue, mais la qualité ne suit pas vraiment. Le plus regrettable reste toutefois le surbooking. Nous avions réservé une suite pour quatre adultes ; à l’arrivée, nous nous sommes retrouvés dans deux chambres communicantes, un seul vrai lit, un canapé trop court et un lit d’appoint bancal dont nous avons fini par poser le matelas au sol. Après deux jours de discussion, nous avons enfin obtenu la chambre réservée. En guise de compensation ? Un café. Pas d’excuses, pas de geste commercial — juste un café. En résumé, un hôtel très bien placé, sympathique en apparence, mais qui accumule trop de négligences pour mériter ses excellentes notes. Le potentiel est là, mais la gestion laisse franchement à désirer.

The Orient Express is in a very transit street, had a bit noice up to midnight. The staff was excellent, they would attend to your request and needs immediately. The bathrooms are not big at all, and they lack space to put anything on. Overall I was happy to stay here for a few nights but if longer I would probably look elsewhere.

Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and clean but could do with some renovating. Walls were very thin so it got noisy at times from people in the halls and neighbouring rooms. The location was excellent, within a 15 minute walk to all the major attractions and next to a tram stop.

The hotel sits right by the tram track. Noisy all the time. The room is rather small. Bathroom is very tight. Air dryer didn't work. The staff even refused to provide adaptors.

Fix the internet speed. Staff is thoughtful, kind and courteous. Jacuzzi and pool are cold. Breakfast is average. They sold out of my room and moved me to a different hotel for 1 night. That had garbage internet and the night guy ignored my internet complaint. Rooms are small but this was disclosed I'm advance.

Locatie is goed, services is goed. Hotel is niet geïsoleerd, kamers zijn heel klein en je hoort alles door de muren heen, we hadden eerste dag een kamer aan de straatkant maar konden niet slapen door het geluid van de tram en toen hadden we andere kamer gekregen maar je hoort dus alles door de muren heen, mensen die in de andere kamer parten en water die door de leidingen lopen. Daarnaast is ontbijt zeer slecht.

Difficile dare un giudizio, dal momento che non abbiamo potuto soggiornare in questo albergo nessuna delle tre notti prenotate. I problemi iniziano ancora prima del nostro arrivo, quando -volendo prenotare il transfer dall'aeroporto- scrivo ben due mail, alle quali non ricevo risposta. Col senno di poi, meglio così: il taxi costa la metà. Arriviamo in hotel alle 10 di sera, dopo un lento check in ci informano che per un "problema tecnico", che stanno risolvendo, dovremmo dormire la prima notte in in altro albergo a pochi passi. Stanchi e non proprio contenti, passiamo la notte così; al mattino ci viene assicurato che "today no problem!". Al nostro arrivo alla reception del primo albergo si ripete la scena: problema tecnico, siamo molto spiacenti, dormirete stanotte in un terzo albergo e verrete qui domattina. A questo punto ci rifiutiamo di rifare le valigie la terza mattina di fila e pretendiamo di dormire le due notti rimanenti in questo nuovo hotel -dove ci sono stati altri problemi, ma questa è una storia a sé...- Ovviamente nessuno ha fatto neanche il gesto di offrirci o scontarci qualcosa, dato il disagio creato.

The Orient Express is in a very transit street, had a bit noice up to midnight. The staff was excellent, they would attend to your request and needs immediately. The bathrooms are not big at all, and they lack space to put anything on. Overall I was happy to stay here for a few nights but if longer I would probably look elsewhere.

Location is excellent. Most staff do not acknowledge you by smiling or saying good morning when you go into reception or other areas, including breakfast. One lady at reception was very nice , even offered us complimentary breakfast on arrival. She always smiled . Sonnur at breakfast also always said good morning to guests. The other staff did not make us feel welcomed there. I would not stay there again, despite the lovely location.

All the staff was amazing to us. Always willing to help until the end. Last minute big taxi to the airport for all our luggage. The roof top great food and wonderful. The pool, the sauna. Our rooms were comfortable just perfect for us. Thank you Orient Express for everything, hope to come back soon.

Our stay got off to a bad start. We booked a family suite 3months before arrival, for me my wife and 2 young daughters. When we arrived we were told there was no family suite so could have 2 separate rooms next door to each other. It wasn't ideal but we had no choice but to accept. I didn't get a clear answer as to whether there were no family suites or there were some but they had been double booked. After that our stay was fine. Breakfast is good, staff were friendly and the hotel was nice and clean and comfortable. Our kids especially enjoyed the small pool in the basement after hot days walking around the city sites.

The staff was very disrespectful and not accommodating and charge extra for something that we did not do. Not only did they talk over us but treatment was insane. Wouldn’t recommend anyone I know to stay here!

I spent one week in this hotel with my sister. The location of the hotel is perfect, metro and tram stations are within walking distance. Most of the attractions are also well accessible. Very good service: Kemal and Sinan were very friendly and gave us valuable tips😊

Hotel on a tram way so be prepared of the rumble passed frequently in the day. You can’t park nor can you get picked up outside. The hotel was clean and met our needs. In US or UK it would be a 2 perhaps 3 star. Breakfast buffet was well presented with loads of choice.

Nous avons passé 8 nuits dans cet hôtel idéalement situé, à deux pas de Sainte-Sophie et proche des transports. Le personnel est aimable, la piscine en sous-sol agréable — bref, sur le papier, tout pour plaire. Mais une fois la porte franchie, le “haut de gamme” promis semble être resté à la réception. Climatisation qui fuit, rideaux décrochés, porte de douche manquante, ménage expéditif… et même du linge sale trouvé sous le lit. Le petit-déjeuner paraît généreux à première vue, mais la qualité ne suit pas vraiment. Le plus regrettable reste toutefois le surbooking. Nous avions réservé une suite pour quatre adultes ; à l’arrivée, nous nous sommes retrouvés dans deux chambres communicantes, un seul vrai lit, un canapé trop court et un lit d’appoint bancal dont nous avons fini par poser le matelas au sol. Après deux jours de discussion, nous avons enfin obtenu la chambre réservée. En guise de compensation ? Un café. Pas d’excuses, pas de geste commercial — juste un café. En résumé, un hôtel très bien placé, sympathique en apparence, mais qui accumule trop de négligences pour mériter ses excellentes notes. Das Hotel liegt in einer sehr guten Lage. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Oben im Restaurant kann man gut essen und der Service ist hervorragend. Die Zimmer sind etwas älter aber okay für ein paar Tage. Das Frühstück war leider gar nicht gut. Wir sind woanders hin zum frühstücken. Im Großen und Ganzen ist das Hotel in Ordnung.

The hotel is right in the city center; walking distance to all sights; the boats and markets. Rooms are updated and nicely decorated. Breakfast contains lots of local dishes and plenty to choose from- it’s a little busy if you go towards the end though. The pool is quite unique and was completely empty when we went which was very nice and relaxing. The orient express theme everywhere makes it very nostalgic. Very friendly staff that also gives tips to local activities. The rooftop restaurant has a great view and is even great for bird watching

A great hotel in the heart of Istanbul. A few minutes walk to Hagia Sofia and many restaurants/cafes/bars on the street outside the hotel. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast had a great selection and our baby was accommodated with a high chair.

Otelin konumu gayet güzel .Çalışanlar çok nazik ve ilgili,özellikle akşamları resepsiyonda çalışan genç arkadaş çok nazik, yardımsever, güleryüzlü ve çok kibar. Otel temizlik yönünden çok zayıf maalesef ,pencereyi açıyorsunuz toz , toprak içinde resmen, duvarlar çok kirli, resepsiyon telefonu o kadar kirli ki dokunmak istemiyordum. Duş aparatı su kaçırıyordu.Nevresimler o kadar yıpranmış ki temiz oldukları bile belli olmuyordu. Otelin kahvaltısı bu standartta bir otel için tatminkardı. Ürünler çok kaliteli değildi ama yeterince çeşitliydi. Bizim kaldığımız odada sık aralıklarla başlayan ve uzunca süren çok rahatsız edici bir ritimde pat pat gibi bir ses vardı maalesef .Otelden ayrıldığımız gün valizimizi saat 18:00 a kadar ücretsiz saklama hizmeti verdiler. Teşekkürler

La literie pas bon pour le dos . L'insonorisation des chambres laisse à désirer. Le petit déjeuner n'est pas du tout bien conservé sur le buffet, qualité médiocre. Personnel toutefois, très gentil et aimable.

I have mixed feelings with this hotel. I can’t say that the staff weren’t friendly, but they certainly weren’t very efficient. I had contacted the hotel 6x through 3 different media (via Expedia chat (2x), via the contact form found on the website of the hotel and via WhatsApp (me 2x and my husband 1x) inquiring after an airport shuttle but never got an answer. Expedia said this was because it wasn’t included in the reservation but sorry, that is nonsense, because I couldn’t include that anywhere it in the reservation and on the hotel page (of both Expedia and the website of the hotel) it clearly says that you can contact them to inquire after (the prices of) airport transport. Secondly, for our last night we had made a reservation through the reception in the roof top restaurant asking for a window table but the restaurant never received the reservation, so we had to wait for almost 1 hour until such a table was available. The airconditioning of the “children’s’room” in the family suite wasn’t working and 1 day they made up the childrens’ room, but not the adult room and they also forgot to empty the (very small) bin. At Some point we just put it in front of the entrance so they couldn’t miss it. The curtains are not black-out curtains and you can hear the tram very well (bring earplugs!) The breakfast area is too small for the amount of rooms (once we had to take everything to the bar upstairs to have a table). The location of the hotel and pool is open till 21h 👍
