Wairo Beach Holiday Park

Relaxing area close to the beach, great for families. The pool and water park was enjoyable for our young son. Would highly recommend for families.

We had a one night family stay and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Being winter, we could not fully enjoy all the facilities the park had to offer, but can see how it would be great in the warmer weather. The indoor games room could do with a bit of a refresher, but otherwise facilities seemed fine. Walking distance to the beach. We stayed in the petrol station cabin and loved the novelty of Olde Wairo Town. The cabin was spacious, comfy, great sofa. We liked the location of it on the end of the street. The insulation could have been a little better, it was chilly and the wind blowing made the walls feel a bit thin. Overall we had a great time and would like to return :)

Location is quiet. Plenty to do in the region. Boardwalk provides a short walk to exposed unpatrolled beach. It was a very messy surf when we were there. Would be better if you swim elsewhere if you are not a good swimmer or can't read a beach. Definitely too dangerous for my kids on the days I was there. The beach is really long and wide so great for walks etc. The resort provided a pool (bit small for older kids/adults); good 18 hole putt-putt golf course; jumping pillow/tennis/basketball area (note this has no shade, kids avoid until the sun goes behind the trees). Stayed in the 2BR Wairo Cottage. It is clean and neat. Kitchen is well equipped and has utensils, pots/pans, plates, cups, glasses etc. There is a small gas BBQ on the verandah that works well. The main bedroom is very small (the bed is squeezed in between the walls). There is a wardrobe but no other furniture. The 2nd bedroom has bunk beds. There's 2x3 of them, making them quite cramped and difficult to get in - tell the kids to watch their head and back. The living room is very sparsely furnished - only one small lounge (2.5 seater max) so mostly we sat on the floor. There is a dining table for dinner. One annoyance was that the aircon is only in the main living area. Like all airconditioners, it struggles to cool any other part of the cottage. We actually bought a fan for the bedroom to cope with the heat we had. Would be fine when not so hot. Not the best place I've stayed but enjoyed it & would stay again.

Quiet, clean, well maintained grounds and easy access to the beach

Cabin was located close to beach but a dustance from playground, jumping pillow and pool. Staff were lovely.

Great pool and kids play areas, access to beach. Budget cabin needs AC upgrade not pleasant on warm summer nights had to keep windows open for fresh air. Amenities felt outdated. Tiny shower right in the middle of living and bedroom unusual setup. Better to upgrade to next option if available.

This was an ok place to stay. Pool area good for all ages. Furniture dated and damaged. Needs an update. Take spray as we had ants all over the bunk beds. Convenient location.

I stayed one night with my elderly Mum in the Gas Station cabin. We both loved it! It was fun walking past the old-town style kitsch cabins, and our cabin was very spacious, extremely clean, and looked new. I haven’t slept on a bunk bed for 20 years but it was comfy! The pool and bouncy area looked like they would be fun for kids. The lady at reception was very welcoming. I hope to return!

Our Ingenia Wairo Beach holiday break was a pleasant stay for our family. A beautiful location - the beach was stunning and the facilities for our kids were great. We really liked the themed cabins (exterior), however, the condition of the cabins were a little dated and didn't feel as clean as they possibly could have been (especially down the sides of the couch). During our stay, Leanne at front reception was lovely, professional and welcoming. Despite the cabin, Leanne's customer service would be a selling point for us returning to Wairo Beach.

Clean toilets and shower area. If you have mat on the grass area for stop the moisture that will be better

All round not bad however got a very dated cabin which was attached and had a noisey large family up until 2:30AM. Everything else was fine, just the lack of sleep and big huntsman spider on the bunk bed due to large gaps under the door. Checked out early with no offer to change cabin or refund 1 night.

Basic but ok. Shame our room was near the highway. Also you could hear the people in the room next door at 5 am. Would I stay here again? Maybe in a better room yes

Great Location, easy walk to the beach. We stayed in a budget cabin which was run down and in need of updating. The shower was a cubicle with only a shower curtain separating it from the living areas. There was a very small sink in the toilet and no other bathroom sink. The beds and bedding were very comfortable and clean. If we go back we’ll stay in one of the nicer and larger cabins.

Self contained unit was great especially if travelling for work or leisure. It was home away from home

Family cabin only had a 3 seater lounge, double bed wasnt comfortable. Tv didnt work so we had to hot spot on our phone. Would stay again but not in that cabin.

Large rooms, clean and quiet. Beach was great. Utensils in kitchen are fairly new and clean.

Some areas of the cabin were a little tatty like the lounge which probably needs replacing but apart from that it looks lovely as always

Care of staff for residents and property was the best I have experienced.

The park itself is very nice.However its just changed hands and i was charged twice and although the receptionist agreed with this when we arrived they charged me again anyway.I had shown proof of payment and you cant book without deposit but still no refund and was told when i said i wouldnt be back.Fine dont come back.Which is a shame because i book 3 cabins every year for my family and that was to be our destination

Nice stay, however, we didn't stay long enough to enjoy any amenities or to meet the staff. They did accommodate our late check-in and made that process easy...very much appreciated.

Love staying here every cabin is unique. So close to the beach 2 min walk at back of property. So quiet.

Great little park. Perfect for the kids to play. Nice and safe, quiet and easy to navigate around. Wairo beach isnt the best for swimming.

Great value, a short walk for direct access to the beautiful beach. Only a short drive to Ulladulla. It definately ticked all the boxes we needed ticked.

We had an great stay in ‘the Pub’ room, we would highly recommend. The service and facilities at the park were wonderful. We were offered a bbq on the Friday night and Saturday we got a text about the seafood van arrival. It was a very family friendly park with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We would come again! Although there were some tiny things about the room that needed some maintenance - there was a missing blind on the front door that meant privacy was impossible in the kitchen/living area and loose tiles in the bathroom. The rooms were clean and very comfortable.
