Despite never actually meeting Matt in person, our check-in process was easy and he has a pretty good system for giving access to the room. I’m not sure why there are so many positive reviews regarding cleanliness, as this was one of the dirtiest places I’ve stayed in my life. My main issue was with the spiders and cobwebs inside. There were so, SO MANY spiders… live ones, dead ones, cobwebs galore... These were not just a few renegade entrants during the day, these were obviously long-term visitors that had not been cleaned out in weeks, if not months. It was pretty extreme and my daughters were especially grossed out. I mentioned it to Matt in an email afterwards, and was not impressed by his response (He basically said they clean them out every day, which anyone can tell was obviously not true). Also, there seems to be a hidden mold problem somewhere in the bathroom based on the smell. While my family happened to stay during one of the hottest days the area has had in some time, it was a disappointment to find that one of the room’s fans did not work, as the room was 80-85F.

The instructions were not real clear and the door would not lock (deadbolt just twisted). Recommended to have some sort of fan in the room for summer months.

Logement grand et bien agencé. Tout équipé. Malheureusement il faudrait faire un peu de nettoyage ( toiles et araignées, poussière sous les lits). Nous aurions voulu utiliser le spa mais cela ne donnait pas trop envie (entretien à revoir aux abords)
