Loved Torr Top Place! As a solo older lady who wanted to visit Manchester’s Christmas markets, this was a perfect base. The kitchen was well equipped, sitting room cozy, bathroom modern, and everything immaculate. Uber transport was readily available and Sainsbury’s (local grocer) was a short walk away. I highly recommend Torr Top Place!

Torr Top is a clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated and well-equipped apartment. We were only there one night, but it is a great place to stay for several days. Highly recommend. Host is attentive and responsive.

New Mills is not a spa town like Buxton but it has an interesting industrial heritage. It is a great centre for local walks and for accessing Kinder Scout and the likes of Mam Tor. There is a good train service to Edale & Hope which can give some flexibility in planning walks. We couldn't fault the property, it is well equipped and comfortably furnished.

Torr Vale Mill and Lyme Park are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Peak District National Park and Kinder Scout. Looking to enjoy an event or a game? See what's going on at Etihad Stadium or Co-op Live Arena. Water tubing and windsurfing offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking/biking trails and mountain biking nearby.
