A beautiful property, within lovely grounds. Annie who checked me in and showed me around all of the facilities was brilliant, and so helpful. I've stayed in several hotels whilst working in the Minehead area, and this one was a cut above the rest. Will definitely try and stay here again.

We spent a most enjoyable two days at Bossington Hall. We loved the authentic grandeur of this Arts & Crafts home and the genuinely warm welcome. The staff ensured our stay was relaxed with the most impressive and comfortable bedroom. The breakfasts were quite exceptional, and the grounds were a joy. If you are happy to stay in during the evenings, a range of light snacks is available and an ‘honesty’ bar ensures you will be well catered for. If you want a more substantial supper, then it is worth giving some advanced thought to where you might eat locally. There are plenty of choices, but booking is advised in a busy season. For our vacations, we look for history, authenticity, a touch of grandeur and welcoming staff. Bossington Hall exceeded on all fronts, and we very much look forward to returning.

A superb setting with extensive views down to the coast. The property was very comfortable & well set up with a welcome tray in the room. The honesty bar & snack area was a well thought out addition, setting it apart from many other establishments. The breakfast was very good with lots of choice & featuring local produce. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The property is reached by narrow country lanes and the building is stunning. It felt very relaxing and the living room has very comfortable sofas. The breakfast was substantial and caters for vegetarians. Having three veggie sausages is a good way to start the day but equally there was plenty of granola and fresh fruit. Would definitely stay here again!

We had the most wonderful stay, lovely extra touches such as cheese and nibbles which you add to a honest book and an area to eat your takeaway if not out in the evening. Thank you Guy and your team, definitely back next year.

Hotel is in beautiful setting with stunning views. There are a couple of lounges where you can relax looking at the stunning scenery. There is an honesty bar you can help yourself to drinks & nibbles at a reasonable cost. Breakfast was fantastic and very delicious with locally sourced produce and they cater for coeliacs. Staff are friendly and helpful. Bedroom was lovely with complementary snacks, tea, coffee and fresh milk. Lovely toiletries in the bathroom too. The hotel is only Bed & Breakfast but there are plenty of places to eat locally for an evening meal. The breakfast they serve sets you up for the day plus you can order sandwiches if you want a picnic lunch. Looking forward to another visit soon.

Bossington Hall, Guy, Annie and all the staff were most welcoming and we really felt whisked away to a timeless location where we could be at ease in our surroundings. Truly wonderful, tranquil and relaxing. Ample facilities for a B&B which lived up to the description, as most certainly luxurious. We could choose to walk nearby or drive further afield, with all our needs catered for. If you are looking for a quiet country get away with a feeling of exclusivity, I would most certainly recommend. I could even charge my EV

Beautiful accommodation set in wonderful gardens with views over the coastline and of the Exmoor hills. Made to feel welcome and really at home. Breakfast was lovely and the option to have snacks and a well stocked bar meant staying in and really making the most of the views whilst relaxing was an option. Quiet and peaceful will definitely be coming again.

A fantastic B&B in a beautiful setting, room was fantastic, breakfast likewise. Great selection in the honesty bar, all reasonably priced. If you are looking for seclusion in style this is it. 10/10!!

Lovely hotel in a superb countryside location overlooking the hills of Exmoor. 35 minutes walk to Porlock Village via mainly narrow country lanes. Lovely room size (Embercombe room), nice decor, comfortable sofa, smart TV and a mini fridge. Large window with glorious views. Blackout blind and drapes. Separate modern bathroom with over-bath shower. Very clean and tidy. Good breakfast choice with selection of cereals, fresh fruit and cooked breakfast options. Definitely worth a return visit.

We had the cooked English breakfast and the eggs royal, which were both excellent. We also enjoyed the generous range of cereals, pastries, breads and drinks available. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was powerful and the room was very clean with stunning views.

To describe Bossington Hall as a luxury B&B - hardly does it justice. The recent renovation is superb - the rooms both public and private are stunning and the views in the superb gardens exquisite. Breakfast was mouthwatering and Guy, the proprietor, is a charming host. Just one word of caution. The expression “private bathroom” means that it is not en suite but adjacent to or opposite your room - understandable given the structure of the rooms. A minor quibble in an otherwise unforgettable stay.

Bossington Hall itself is simply stunning, the building, the grounds, our room, all fabulous. Amazing views across to Porlock and Exmoor, which is just a magical place. The manager and staff, super helpful and friendly. We were after a couple of days of peace and quiet to recharge our batteries, we couldn't have found a more relaxing location.

We have stayed at many properties in this area over the years but Bossington Hall tops the lot. A beautiful 9-room property with lovely views over Bossington beach towards Porlock Weir. We had a spacious room (Greenaleigh) with a very comfortable bed. Great breakfast with a mix of self-service and cooked to order dishes; all with quality produce. Well placed for walkers on N Somerset costal path.

My partner and I had a lovely few nights here and we loved every second ! The grounds and house are stunning and the room was comfortable and cosy. Guy ( the owner ) was very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was of a high standard and delicious. We walked the woods behind the property ( highly recommend- really stunning views from the top). We are already talking returning next year ! If you want a luxurious stay with delicious food in a stunning location then you must book a stay here- you won’t be disappointed!

Fantastic overnight stay. Made to feel very welcome upon arrival by the owner who then took us to a great vantage point to take in the stunning views whilst giving us a brief bit of background history surrounding the building. We took our dog who was welcomed greatly. The staff on site were pleasant and polite and on hand to assist with anything we needed. Breakfast was great. Can't wait to return later on in the year.

Hotel is in beautiful setting with stunning views. There are a couple of lounges where you can relax looking at the stunning scenery. There is an honesty bar you can help yourself to drinks & nibbles at a reasonable cost. Breakfast was fantastic and very delicious with locally sourced produce and they cater for coeliacs. Staff are friendly and helpful. Bedroom was lovely with complementary snacks, tea, coffee and fresh milk. Lovely toiletries in the bathroom too. The hotel is only Bed & Breakfast but there are plenty of places to eat locally for an evening meal. The breakfast they serve sets you up for the day plus you can order sandwiches if you want a picnic lunch. Looking forward to another visit soon.

Bossington Hall, Guy, Annie and all the staff were most welcoming and we really felt whisked away to a timeless location where we could be at ease in our surroundings. Truly wonderful, tranquil and relaxing. Ample facilities for a B&B which lived up to the description, as most certainly luxurious. We could choose to walk nearby or drive further afield, with all our needs catered for. If you are looking for a quiet country get away with a feeling of exclusivity, I would most certainly recommend. I could even charge my EV

Excellent stay, staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was of a very high standard. Room was very comfortable, some rooms have private bathrooms others are en suite, either way everything is of a high standard. We will be back .

Bossington Hall itself is simply stunning, the building, the grounds, our room, all fabulous. Amazing views across to Porlock and Exmoor, which is just a magical place. The manager and staff, super helpful and friendly. We were after a couple of days of peace and quiet to recharge our batteries, we couldn't have found a more relaxing location.

Lovely hotel in a superb countryside location overlooking the hills of Exmoor. 35 minutes walk to Porlock Village via mainly narrow country lanes. Lovely room size (Embercombe room), nice decor, comfortable sofa, smart TV and a mini fridge. Large window with glorious views. Blackout blind and drapes. Separate modern bathroom with over-bath shower. Very clean and tidy. Good breakfast choice with selection of cereals, fresh fruit and cooked breakfast options. Definitely worth a return visit.

We have stayed at many properties in this area over the years but Bossington Hall tops the lot. A beautiful 9-room property with lovely views over Bossington beach towards Porlock Weir. We had a spacious room (Greenaleigh) with a very comfortable bed. Great breakfast with a mix of self-service and cooked to order dishes; all with quality produce. One of the best B&Bs I've stayed at. Fantastic Grade II house, great amenities including tennis courts, a cinema room and separate lounge. Lots of nearby walks and good location within the national park. Panoramic views from the great hall and terrace. Superb breakfast with locally sourced produce and good veggie options.

The property is reached by narrow country lanes and the building is stunning. It felt very relaxing and the living room has very comfortable sofas. The breakfast was substantial and caters for vegetarians. Having three veggie sausages is a good way to start the day but equally there was plenty of granola and fresh fruit. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful accommodation set in wonderful gardens with views over the coastline and of the Exmoor hills. Made to feel welcome and really at home. Breakfast was lovely and the option to have snacks and a well stocked bar meant staying in and really making the most of the views whilst relaxing was an option. Quiet and peaceful will definitely be coming again.

A wonderful couple of days stay, very convenient for driving & walking to various lovely villages with tea rooms. Will definitely go back to explore more of the area & have a longer stay at Bossington Hall. The breakfast was second to none, pleasant surroundings to enjoy our stay.

We had the cooked English breakfast and the eggs royal, which were both excellent. We also enjoyed the generous range of cereals, pastries, breads and drinks available. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was powerful and the room was very clean with stunning views.

We spent a most enjoyable two days at Bossington Hall. We loved the authentic grandeur of this Arts & Crafts home and the genuinely warm welcome. The staff ensured our stay was relaxed with the most impressive and comfortable bedroom. The breakfasts were quite exceptional, and the grounds were a joy. If you are happy to stay in during the evenings, a range of light snacks is available and an ‘honesty’ bar ensures you will be well catered for. If you want a more substantial supper, then it is worth giving some advanced thought to where you might eat locally. There are plenty of choices, but booking is advised in a busy season. For our vacations, we look for history, authenticity, a touch of grandeur and welcoming staff. Bossington Hall exceeded on all fronts, and we very much look forward to returning.

A superb setting with extensive views down to the coast. The property was very comfortable & well set up with a welcome tray in the room. The honesty bar & snack area was a well thought out addition, setting it apart from many other establishments. The breakfast was very good with lots of choice & featuring local produce. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Wow! What an amazing place. Absolutely beautiful house and stunning location. Nice touches like a tray to top up your tea and coffee in the hallway and an honesty bar. We didn’t try the cheeseboard but they looked lovely and having home cooked meals in the freezer that you can heat yourself is a brilliant idea. The staff were all lovely. A great weekend away. Thank you.
