Great escape from life. Lovely pub in countryside location. Near to lovely walks and towns.

I cannot understand how The Sheepy is rated so highly on this site. The sink is stained and the shower head has that much scale, only half of them let water out. The kettle desperately needs a descaling too. The carpets are in desperate need of a clean. The mattress is old, tired and lumpy. No servicing of the room or fresh towels for a 3 night stay. Breakfast was fruit, cereal and a pot of yogurt left in the fridge each day. Located in the middle of nowhere, where you have to drive down awful country lanes to get there.

A very good location for exploring the Avalon Marshes. A cosy, welcoming country Inn which serves really interesting and tasty dishes.

Thoroughly enjoyed it
