Within a 30-minute drive there are excellent sandy beaches at Mundersley, Happisburgh and Sea Palling, or visit the city of Norwich with its theatre, castle museum, two indoor shopping centres, a market square, art galleries, cafés and restaurants. The area is excellent for birdwatching and the network of roads and lanes make it popular with cyclists. National Trust properties nearby include Blickling Hall, Felbrigg Hall and Sheringham Park.
