I love this beautiful old farm house! It’s charming and cozy and always easy to navigate your stay. Only reason I didn’t rate the facility as excellent is because it doesn’t have an elevator or readily accessible, should you need that. But the stairs are just part of its charm.

Fun B & B experience in historical building. Good variety of choices at breakfast. No TV in room but we chatted with others in sitting rooms. We also played shuffleboard.

Property was in a quaint old building, with public sitting areas, coffee room and decent breakfast. Rooms are very rustic, small but have character. No phones or TVs in individual rooms, but one large TV in common area. Innkeeper was friendly and accommodating. Closeness to ski area was about 4 miles, some restaurants close by plus supermarket across the street. Price / value ratio was good and breakfast included.

Very good continental breakfast. Enjoyed utilizing the common areas for eating, drinking tea, playing cards. Different feel than a hotel. Thick towels. (Bathroom curtain could use replaced) Overall a very enjoyable stay and would recommend to other travelers.

This inn is like stepping back in time. Beautiful in it's own way. However the room was very simple and just covered the bare minimum. No TV, no frillsp, a very small bathroom with a shower that could either use a good cleaning or updated. There was a nice area outside that included a fire pit. Fire places in some of the common areas along with some comfortable chairs. Over all not a bad place to stay for the night.

Beautiful Inn, rooms are large with a nice seating area outside. Refrigerator for guests and microwave. They provided a continental breakfast one day was fresh brewed coffee and the the following day it was a one cup do it yourself. Quiet hours are 9 p.m. to 8 a.m. We were not greeted upon arrival only a note and key. All rooms upstairs. We were not given instructions or remote for the air and a code to get back into the hotel. Overall, nice stay but not run to my satisfaction.

It is an old style Vermont Country Inn with simple but comfortable room accommodations. It has a real nice common area with a fireplace and game. Breakfast was also a very simple self serve continental style. Short drive to ski areas and some things were walkable

We loved our stay at the Waitsfield Inn! Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The whole place had a cozy, homey atmosphere that just made us want to relax and hang out. We will definitely be back!

This was a great stay. The room and Inn were very clean and comfortable. The decor was cozy with plenty of little nooks to relax in. The owner was great, check In simple. Will definitely stay again.

Booked 2 rooms. One room the deadbolt did not work and the shower curtain had mildew on the bottom. Also pedestal sink had almost no room for toiletries. Other room the toilet seat was cracked and pinched you. Left note with the desk, all they did was put duct tape on it. Also never saw anyone at the desk after we checked in, for two days. TV in common area was froze on guide, but there was no one around to ask for help.

Overall our stay was nice! Our biggest issue was how loud our bed was. It creeked everytime you tossed or turned. And it was pretty obnoxious! Other than that it was cute and clean!

Although the room was clean this place is tiny, and I do mean tiny. I’m 6’2” and could barely use the bathroom in our room. Literally stood outside the shower stall to wash my hair and forget about using the toilet jammed between the sink and wall. No amenities in the rooms, not even an alarm clock. Bed was uncomfortable and slept on a mattress that had my feet elevated above my head because it was so wore out. Staff was invisible because they left my room key on the desk at arrival with a note and no one around in the morning either so forget about asking for a restaurant in the area or anything else you might need. Never saw one person from the hotel during our stay… not one. Would not recommend unless you have an emergency situation. Seemed safe enough though. I hate leaving bad reviews but I would not stay here again.

Typical 19th century inn—creaky floors, no tv’s in rooms—the owner has updated the heating & cooling system so room was comfortable. Only 1 towel per person, and gotta go downstairs for morning coffee.

It was a nice central location for us to base out of, to explore Vermont, Close to Waterbury, Stowe, Thunder Road in Barre. Very Nice Continental Breakfast. Cozy Room, no TV in the Room, but a Nice Comfortable Room overall

I was here for one night prior to Christmas for a friends memorial service. I came in early and was allowed to check in. The room was small but very clean and did not have the stuffiness you would expect in an old house during winter. The bed was comfortable and a modern heating unit kept the room as I like it. 2 things I noticed. 1) there was no television in the room. Thats OK for me because I use an IPAD but there was no information regarding the WiFi in the hotel.(front desk) in fact there was no information at all about the check out time, facilities,area dining or activities. Some information in the room would be helpful. 2) and this is maybe just one of those things,but at 230AM the man next door to me was snoring so loud it woke me up. Not a lot of insulation between our rooms. I had earplugs so I was able to get some sleep. It seemed like the Inn was empty so why put people next door to each other if noise is an issue. Breakfast was, "eh", Keurig, no fresh coffee, packaged pastries,etc. I understand the ski areas were all closed but if you are offering breakfast try a little harder. I just needed a good cup of coffee before leaving. Mr. Coffee and an insulated carafe would work.For my purposes this Inn worked out well. It was middle of the road price wise compared to other places in the valley, and it wasn't any more or less than what I expected. I'm sure there is a different vibe when the ski areas are open and the Inn is full. I'd stay again for 1-2 nights.

Our air conditioning didn't work but other than that it was the most beautiful place we have ever stayed. Gorgeous town. Gorgeous land. Friendly people. I loved the rustic feel of the rooms and the antique nature of the whole property. Would stay there again!

Quaint, but not functional! While the room itself was fine, the bathroom itself was behind a bifold door with only room to pivot between the shower, toilet and sink. The shower was so tiny and it took 7 minutes to get hot water! It’s also difficult to wash face or brush teeth at the tiny sink without hitting your elbow off the wall. The traffic was loud overnight and despite having the blind down to the windowsill, there was a light outside that was shining brightly all night. We only made it 1 night despite booking for 2 nights. We were miserable!

The waitsfield inn was clean and comfortable. The small window in the room had no curtain so the sunlight came in to wake you up. As it was not critical to have an in room tv it would have been nice to know there was not one. Unfortunately most restaurants and bars closed relatively early it was a nice area.

Great place to stay for a ski weekend. Only 10-15 min from sugarbush’s Lincoln Peak. Also had complimentary breakfast from 7:30-9am. The inn is also close to many restaurants that are within walking distance. Check in and out was smooth, as my key was left for me well in advance. My only complaint is in regards to the availability of staff. I mistakenly locked myself out of the room, and we didn’t hear from the innkeeper in regards to getting another key for about 90 minutes after we initially called and left a few messages. Great place to stay for a ski weekend. Only 10-15 min from sugarbush’s Lincoln Peak. Also had complimentary breakfast from 7:30-9am. The inn is also close to many restaurants that are within walking distance. Check in and out was smooth, as my key was left for me well in advance. My only complaint is in regards to the availability of staff. I mistakenly locked myself out of the room, and we didn’t hear from the innkeeper in regards to getting another key for about 90 minutes after we initially called and left a few messages. Don’t expect a typical hotel experience. Imagine coming home to visit family…you may need to help yourself to a few things and enjoy the common areas as opposed to relaxing in your own space (some rooms are just the bed and no chair or other space), but you feel at home. The breakfast is simple but with good quality options, and the property is clean and historic. There are several nice areas with comfy chairs to sit and read with electric and log fireplaces, and there are clearly posted quiet hours making for a relaxing night. A note for checkin: staff may not be present when you walk in but there is a phone number you can call or text and they will tell you what to do. They may even leave a key with a note for you. We saw some older ladies come in with big suitcases and helped them take their suitcases up to their room since no staff was on hand at the moment.

It's a small vintage New England Inn - and perfect for those that would rather have a good nights sleep and a friendly atmosphere over the sterility of a large commercial chain. No staff hovering and self check-in. A buffet breakfast of cereals, yogurt, fruit, coffee and tea. The owner upgraded me to a larger room free of charge after I had made my reservation. I will return next time I'm in the area.

Beautiful Inn, rooms are large with a nice seating area outside. Refrigerator for guests and microwave. They provided a continental breakfast one day was fresh brewed coffee and the the following day it was a one cup do it yourself. Quiet hours are 9 p.m. to 8 a.m. We were not greeted upon arrival only a note and key. All rooms upstairs. We were not given instructions or remote for the air and a code to get back into the hotel. Overall, nice stay but not run to my satisfaction.

Stayed for two nights while touring Vermont. Room was comfortable. Breakfast was simple but very good. Loved the old building. It was within easy walking distance of several nice restaurants. I would stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the inn. We came up for the weekend to ski at sugarbush and loved the experience here. The room was very cute, and we had a nice breakfast and coffee downstairs before a day of skiing. There’s also lots of cute shops and restaurants relatively nearby.

The owner Frank was terrific. He only purchased the property 2 years ago and has done a lot to maintain the unique charm and decor. He made us the best waffles I’ve ever had with walnuts, chia seeds, blueberries, and bananas. He also provided additional high quality organic options including for breakfast including organic coffee. It’s affordable and we are definitely going back.

We had a lovely two night stay at The Waitsfield Inn. Our room was delightful, quaint, very clean and comfortable. The rooms downstairs were beautifully furnished and although we did not use them the games room and TV area looked great! We were a little disappointed with breakfast on both days. We came down to breakfast very early on both mornings but unfortunately there was no juice and very little bread for toasting. It would have been nice to have met our host - he did however leave us a welcome note out with our key.

The bathroom was way too small and cramped. This is called a Bed and Breakfast. Unless that means something else now this was not a B&B, i.e.. there was no cooked breakfast. Some waffles and oatmeal was all that was cooked. There was what amounted to a continental breakfast, the same you might get at a hotel.

Very good continental breakfast. Enjoyed utilizing the common areas for eating, drinking tea, playing cards. Different feel than a hotel. Thick towels. (Bathroom curtain could use replaced) Overall a very enjoyable stay and would recommend to other travelers.

Head post of bed loose and made noise every time you turned over, also soap very thin and only enough shampoo for 1 person! Ran out of orange juice in morning did not replenish!

Lovely property. Conveniently located. Historic flavor. Beds could have been more comfortable. All of the outlets in my room need to be replaced. They are not dangerous but neither will they hold a plug.

Our room was clean, the staff was helpful.Tracie was fantastic, Frank made a good note regarding the password for Wi-Fi, the quiet times, break fast hours and so on which was very important. However, there was some kind of bad odor at the first floor by the entrance which should be addressed asap. Since the weather was cool and rainy, we did not worry about air conditioning. There are a few shops nearby.
