Well deserved 4star resort hotel. Our standard room had a balcony facing the ocean. Resort had 2 restaurants, multiple pools, and many other amenities that we didn’t get to enjoy for our one-night stay. Breakfast had lots of variety of food. Room itself was really clean and in perfect condition, good layout, comfortably firm bed and pillows. Parking could be a bit of struggle if checking in late, there’s only a strip of parking spots along the side of the building, approximately 25-30.

The spa facilities were amazing, we loved the saunas and the steam bath. Swimming in the ocean was also lovely as was the outdoor pool area. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Perfecte locatie voor een verblijf in Madeira. Dichtbij de hoofd-autosnelweg om overal snel te geraken. Privé-toegang tot de zee met een eigen rif: zeker snorkel-spullen meenemen! Onze kamers waren ruim en recent vernieuwd (en dus in perfecte staat). Enorm grote fitness en gratis groepslessen (op specifieke yoga-lessen na). Enig klein minpuntje: de fitness mag pas vanaf 16j gebruikt worden wat een tegenvaller was voor mijn voetballende zoon die zijn looptrainingen ter plaatse wou blijven doen.

Great stay for a long weekend. Good gym and range of classes. Enjoyed the sunrise yoga and the activities organised by Lokoloko next door were fantastic. All the staff at the hotel were amazing, so friendly.

Great location by the ocean with access to several pools and the sauna and steam rooms with ocean views was amazing. The room was very spacious, bigger than we expected and the breakfast offered a wide selection. The staff were also friendly. There are a few restaurants within walking distance although I would recommend having a car to explore further

Sehr schönes, gepflegtes Hotel in toller Lage mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Gutes Fitnessstudio und schön gelegene Bar mit täglicher Livemusik. Bis auf einige Ameisen im Zimmer und den wenigen kostenlosen Parkplätzen im Hotelbereich gab es nichts zu bemängeln . Jederzeit gerne wieder .

A wonderful end to my time in Madeira. The hotel was stunning and the staff were so lovely and welcoming. My room was one of the best hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed out of all my various trips - extremely clean, well ventilated, warm and cosy and as someone who is passionate about interior styling, I really appreciated the minimalist design. Breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant was good and the close proximity to local restaurants and shops was a bonus too. Already dreaming about my next stay here 😍

Positives: - staff is friendly - location is nice and quiet - activities like yoga, diving, hiking trips - landscaped area around the hotel - it's actually two hotels so more facilities - sommelier is amazing. Great wine tasting. - nice to see solar panels and water saving Improvements: - a proper coffee at breakfast - breakfast smoothies always run out - a sewage smell in all the lifts and toilets - no free water offered in the room - beach towels refreshed only for a fee - blue bar only has basic snack food - masseuse at spa doesn't seem to know what they're doing. Also, a 60min massage lasted for 40min. - asked to pay upfront upon check-in - check-in staff should make it clear whether your room is ready for early check in or not. We were led to believe we can check-in 2 hours early but our room wasn't actually ready which we only found out after 20min of paperwork. Not upset about the wait, only about the bad communication and expectation management - last thing you need when you haven't slept all night.

I really really enjoyed my stay. Hotel was clean and quiet and served my needs perfectly. Hotel staff was able to arrange for a rental car for me when I arrived to the hotel. Free parking was very limited but, I was always able to find paid street parking not far from the hotel. So not really a big deal. The hotel staff are superb. A special acknowledgement to Barbara Gomez who is so kind, professional, always had a smile on her face and offered great suggestions for things to do in Madeira during my stay. My only “complaint” which is minor is the temperature of the hot water in my room . I like the option of very hot water when it comes to bathing/showering. The water in my room was barely lukewarm. Outside of this minor issue, I would most certainly would stay at this hotel again.

A really nice resort, great breakfast and dinner buffet. Easy to take a bus to Funchal. The rooms were clean, and had a cool layout. My only complaint is that the room as too warm and humid for me to get a good nights sleep which negatively impacted my ability to get over the jetlag and enjoy the start of my vacation. The thermostat is the room does not change the temperature of the room, only displays the current temperature which, with the AC running all night showed the room temperature at 24°C.

The breakfast was fresh, with a variety of choice. The bedroom was nice clean and spacious with a view that was amazing to watch the sunrise each morning from the balcony. The facilities were good, the bus services 155 into town always punctual and again the journey to Funchal had amazing ocean and hilltop views, with winding roads offering a nice sceneric veiws. I enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend.

Overall, we did enjoy our stay, there were a lot more positives than negatives.

The room AC was not working during our stay. The hotel could not fix it and we could not sleep properly during our stay. The room given to us was a pigeon hole with a distant view of the sea and was totally different from the pictures shown before booking. Buffet dinner was terrible with a server named Sonia showing bad attitude. While the view outside the hotel and possibly some rooms may have good views, it was a very disappointing experience. Will not go back there or recommend it to anyone else either.

Het is een zalige plek!. Goede voorzieningen. Goed eten. Super ontbijt. De kamer was zeer ruim, maar wat gedateerd en ongezellig. Zeezicht, maar aan een drukke straat. Er waren vele beter gelegen kamers. Het ‘zwembad’ in de oceaan is fantastisch.

We had our honeymoon here and had the best time! The staff were friendly, they even gave us a bottle of champagne and card on our arrival. It was really special. Would love to come back and hope we do.

We had an awesome room with ocean view and were treated to champagne and a romantic set up as a welcome gift for our honeymoon. The Oceanside pool and spa was beautiful. The breakfast and dinner buffet had great variety and price was reasonable. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

The property exceeded all my expectations — it was peaceful, relaxing, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. I stayed here with my family for my 40th birthday, and the team went above and beyond to make it special. Vielen Dank für die super entgegenkommende Serviceleistung. Nachdem in der Nacht um 3:00 Uhr unser Abflug gecancelt wurde fanden wir dieses Hotel, um einen Tag länger auf den Abflug zu warten. Obwohl wir regulär erst um 14 Uhr hätten das Zimmer beziehen können wurde das erste freigewordene Zimmer am Morgen für uns hergerichtet und so konnten wir schon um 9:30 Uhr das Zimmer beziehen und wir uns vom Stress der Nacht ausgiebig erholen. Nochmals herzlichen Dank!!!

The facilities were good, the bus services 155 into town always punctual and again the journey to Funchal had amazing ocean and hilltop views, with winding roads offering a nice sceneric veiws. I enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend.

The Spa was incredible. We used the ocean view sauna every day and loved it! Room was clean and tidy, we had a nice view from our balcony. Walkable to many restaurants in the area. It was a relaxing and quiet location compared to the more lively Funchal.

Absolutely lovely hotel, the breakfast brunch was fantastic every time. The location is great if you plan to travel around the island as it’s 20 seconds from the highway. The ocean view was great as well. The restaurant and markets that are 30 seconds walk from the hotel were phenomenal as well. Definitely staying here again when I come back!

Great location by the ocean with access to several pools and the sauna and steam rooms with ocean views was amazing. The room was very spacious, bigger than we expected and the breakfast offered a wide selection. The staff were also friendly. There are a few restaurants within walking distance although I would recommend having a car to explore further

The property is simply ok. Not great, not bad. The adult only hotel, Sentido Galomar looked much better and the facilities e.g spa, nicer restaurant, lounge was located in the other hotel meaning you have to walk (very short walk though). Breakfast was very basic, the buffet lunch and dinner were much better.

Well deserved 4star resort hotel. Our standard room had a balcony facing the ocean. Resort had 2 restaurants, multiple pools, and many other amenities that we didn’t get to enjoy for our one-night stay. Breakfast had lots of variety of food. Room itself was really clean and in perfect condition, good layout, comfortably firm bed and pillows. Parking could be a bit of struggle if checking in late, there’s only a strip of parking spots along the side of the building, approximately 25-30.

A wonderful end to my time in Madeira. The hotel was stunning and the staff were so lovely and welcoming. My room was one of the best hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed out of all my various trips - extremely clean, well ventilated, warm and cosy and as someone who is passionate about interior styling, I really appreciated the minimalist design. Breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant was good and the close proximity to local restaurants and shops was a bonus too. Already dreaming about my next stay here 😍

Une jolie chambre, de belles piscines mais nous avons regretté le fait de devoir traverser la route et le parking pour rejoindre le restaurant et la piscine principale (l’hotel est sur plusieurs bâtiments) et le fait qu’il n’y ait pas assez de place de stationnement gratuit (même si ce n’était vraiment pas cher). Repas et petit déjeuner sympathiques avec une jolie vue, nourriture moyenne mais bien variée. Saluons la présence de produits sans gluten. Personnel agréable.

We enjoyed our stay at the Sentido Galosol. We liked the beautiful modern interior design. Parking wasn’t always easy although there are some parking spots for hotel guests (not enough). The rooms were equipped with everything we needed. The breakfast was good and we got a lunchbox for our early departure. The staff was very friendly. The indoor pool was nice and not too crowded. We would have loved more vegan options at the breakfast buffet (like for example some vegan spread for the bread).

Had the most amazing stay at this hotel amd wish we could've stayed longer. The rooms were spacious and had everything we needed. The sea view was spectacular; sunset and sunrise were especially beautiful from the balcony. Breakfast had a wide selection and great coffee. We also took advantage of the snorkeling and swimming on the property which was great. Location wise, it was only a short drive from the airport and funchal. Overall this was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed and we would recommend anyone to stay here.

Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir un appartement incroyable au dernier étage, confort et propreté au top. L'hôtel est très agréable et l'accès a un espace aménagé pour se baigner dans la mer est appréciable. Petit déjeuner correct nous n'avons pas testé le repas du soir. Possibilité de manger sur la belle terrasse de la piscine le midi repas copieux. Par contre nous trouvons que pour un 4 étoiles a ce tarif il pourrait nous changer les serviettes gratuitement ( surtout quand on est là pour plusieurs nuitées). Le stationnement est un peu compliqué peu de place gratuite et dispersée un peu partout....la breakfast box mon dieu pas du tout à la hauteur à mon avis si vous devez en réserver une exigez ce que vous voulez à l'intérieur. Le personnel n'est pas hyper réactif et souriant mais bon beaucoup de jeunes et début du mois d'août donc sûrement bcp de monde à gérer.....
