Although my accomadations are a little cramped, they are adequate. Management needs to purchase an industrial ice machine for perishables because the in room refrigerators have no freezer compartments. All in all, a GOOD experience, a quaint, somewhat secluded courtyard motel.

Charming little motel with spacious parking which we didn't observe in the motels/hotels in the city proper. The room was clean with little touches of home- desk, table, closet, refrigerator, coffee maker, and pretty linens that were clean and felt like visiting a friend. There was a little outdoor sitting area and comfy seats outside the rooms. I really don't understand why this motel doesn't have higher ratings. It felt safe and added bonus, walking distance to one of the local favorite restaurants. We only encountered one staff member (owner?)but she was amazing and friendly and we observed her cleaning rooms and tidying up outdoor areas. We extended our stay a night before moving on and would definitely return to this motel!

Pictures on the web did not show the room I stayed in, the room I was in was horrible. The room was extremely small, almost closet like and needed to be gutted, walls, floor, ceiling, doors, door ways all needed to be gutted and redone. TV stuck out from the wall in front of entrance to bathroom. All furniture and bed very very old. I chose this hotel because it was vintage and the pictures on the web showed it to be somewhat nice. I would recommend not staying unless you see the room you will be staying in first. Also, the rates should be cheaper since there is no pool, breakfast, or snack shop.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The property appeared freshly painted and crisp. Parking was clear and easy to access but there appeared to be more than one vehicle per room and it filled up fast. It may be necessary to have a special place to park vehicles with trailers. Perhaps the lot to the south. Inside the room it was rather dark with a perfumed smell. The room (12) was rather cramped but could be decluttered. It would be a good idea to remove the old tv platform and mount the flat panel tv to the wall. That would free up space and eliminate the bumping hazard. Removing the credenza and putting the desk and chair near the window would offer a lot more space. Building a cabinet for the mini fridge and microwave would provide space for the coffee station on top freeing up more space. The mattress may need to be flipped and could use a down mattress pad. It was firm but the coils were noticeable and the metal blocking off the underside bowed and sounded with movement. There is a nice cafe to the south but be careful walking, the sidewalks are treacherous. The property is easy to access from the south but it is necessary to turn around if coming from the north. The median does not allow direct access.

The heaters had not been turned on, so in this older adobe style complex it was freezing! There was also a huge gap under the door allowing tons of cold air in which we placed a towel at. The owner said it would heat in 25 minutes...WOW! We were there over an hour and it was still freezing. Chose to leave and asked for a refund, was still charged for one night, which I find rediculous, but worth getting at least one night refunded (had 2 nights booked). Went to La Quinta and walked into a nice warm comfy room at 1/2 the price. This place may be nice in summer, but do not reccommend winter stays! Also no blow dryer or iron in rooms, you have to walk to office, ring the door bell to get in and request them.

We arrived late & the "Cottonwood" sign was not lighted. There was no street lighting either. There wasn't much lighting for the office. Almost did not find the location. Once we got into the room, it was great. I would stay again since I know where it is.

The outside looks Ok because it has fresh paint but the interior looks like a 100 years old with no maintenance at all. The room was very small, no dryer, no iron, no ice, the fridge wasn't working.... I can't believe they charge me almost $200 for one night but it was my fault for not making reservations ahead of time on a holiday weekend

The best I can say is that it is what it is. It's an old, cheap (except not actually as cheap as it should be) motel in a random, not great spot. I had multiple people's hair and pubes on the sheets and unwashed makeup stains. The bathroom seemed clean though. I would not go back.

It was an old old adobe property, updated a bit- still old decor and old carpet (at least old looking) but it was super clean, super convenient and the people running it (front desk and cleaning) were great. It was definitely a small room, but closets and dresser to stash stuff if you wanted. I would choose this over any of the chains on S Cerrillos road. Also, this was much closer in to downtown than most of the chain motels.

The motel was conveniently located near all of the attractions and things we had planned to do. It was also very clean, and the roses were absolutely beautiful. The motel was immaculately kept inside and out the service was friendly and helpful.

Charming older "motor motels" like this are hard to find. Anyone nostalgic on old route 66 may know if people detoured down to santa fe after the reroute Cerrillos Road was where you went. I would have liked it then, but I liked it now and thought it was cool and charming. I got there at night and really saw the colors the next morning. Inside is like most of these I have found and some things inside were older... However everything worked and it was very clean!

The room was ok but had a smell. I opened fridge to see if it was cold and it wasn't plus it stunk. Looked at pillow and noticed a ton of tiny black hairs on both pillows like someone got a hair cut and put there head on the pillow. The second night I found a dead spider on pillow after coming back from snowboarding. The TV remote was disgusting. Had a bunch of stuff between the buttons

Séjour très décevant un rapport qualité prix catastrophique, une chambre sombre et austère. Le wifi non fonctionnel, la décoration extérieur ne fait tout. La propreté de la chambre laisse à désirer juste la salle de bain était propre. La télé est installée sur une plaque de marbre à hauteur de tête très dangereux.

Although the staff was very kind and helpful, our room was very inconvenient. The lighting is very poor throughout the room and bath. The room was small and cramped and no electrical outlet in the bathroom. Too expensive. We had trouble with charging our phones. The tv was in an unsafe position-my husband bumped his head on it. I loved the landscaping and exterior decoration.

I’ve stayed her three times over TJ last five years and will stay here again. My only concern was the air conditioner, which was way too loud to use. I’d turn it on for a bit to cool off the room then turn it off again. Excellent location for maneuvering around Santa Fe. Very nice people and always feel safe.

Room was clean, but very small. Air conditioner kept street noise out. Second night the water was shut off due to broken pipe in adjoining unit. Ok for the price.

Property was old and worn out. No problem with old but very worn out. Not kept up thru the years. Couldn't get the heater to warm the room. It stayed below 60 and outside temps were upper 20's-30's. Management said we would have to deal with it, no refunds. Not sympathetic to the problem. No offer of another room. Very rude lady at the desk.

The room was dark and cold. The shower just trickled and there was barely any hot water for the shower. When I told the lady at the front desk I was not staying the second night. She took the key back and said, "No refund for second night!" I don't recommend this place to stay at.

The most miserable motel I've ever had to stay at. From the bitter, sadistic old woman at check-in, to the broken heater in the middle of January (which the bitter, sadistic old woman openly tried gaslighting me about, before refusing to do anything about it, not even a room change despite only one other room in the whole motel being occupied), to the lukewarm shower (in a cold bathroom), to the lack of blankets, to everything being slightly grimy to the touch -- everything about this place is miserable.

Owner was very judgmental. I've been working for a couple of days and I look like a homeless man and that's how she treated me. She couldn't believe I had actually booked a room through you guys. She didn't believe I even had a cell phone. She didn't believe they even had a credit card. The rooms are junky. They're mediocre. There's a lot of walls that's cracked. I'm not recommending this to anybody for the money. They're not worth it will not rent here again

It was an old old adobe property, updated a bit- still old decor and old carpet (at least old looking) but it was super clean, super convenient and the people running it (front desk and cleaning) were great. It was definitely a small room, but closets and dresser to stash stuff if you wanted. I would choose this over any of the chains on S Cerrillos road. Also, this was much closer in to downtown than most of the chain motels.

I’ve stayed her three times over TJ last five years and will stay here again. My only concern was the air conditioner, which was way too loud to use. I’d turn it on for a bit to cool off the room then turn it off again. Excellent location for maneuvering around Santa Fe. Very nice people and always feel safe.

Wonderful stay while passing thru Santa Fe. This room was cozy and charming. The owner was kind and helpful. Highly recommend walking down for a meal at The Pantry down the street. We went for dinner and breakfast! Meow Wolf is only a 5 minute drive as well! this is an ideal spot if you're traveling to Santa Fe to visit.

The motel was conveniently located near all of the attractions and things we had planned to do. It was also very clean, and the roses were absolutely beautiful. The motel was immaculately kept inside and out the service was friendly and helpful.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The property appeared freshly painted and crisp. Parking was clear and easy to access but there appeared to be more than one vehicle per room and it filled up fast. It may be necessary to have a special place to park vehicles with trailers. Perhaps the lot to the south. Inside the room it was rather dark with a perfumed smell. The room (12) was rather cramped but could be decluttered. It would be a good idea to remove the old tv platform and mount the flat panel tv to the wall. That would free up space and eliminate the bumping hazard. Removing the credenza and putting the desk and chair near the window would offer a lot more space. Building a cabinet for the mini fridge and microwave would provide space for the coffee station on top freeing up more space. The mattress may need to be flipped and could use a down mattress pad. It was firm but the coils were noticeable and the metal blocking off the underside bowed and sounded with movement. There is a nice cafe to the south but be careful walking, the sidewalks are treacherous. The property is easy to access from the south but it is necessary to turn around if coming from the north. The median does not allow direct access.

I enjoyed the charming New Mexico adobe architecture and viga ceilings, the vintage route 66 vibes. The location is convenient to walk to the popular The Pantry restaurant but on a busy street. I also enjoyed sitting on the porch chairs outside to watch the sunset. The family rooms have two seperate bedrooms which was nice for our family of four. The room was very clean even though it's an older building. We'd stay here again.

We arrived late & the "Cottonwood" sign was not lighted. There was no street lighting either. There wasn't much lighting for the office. Almost did not find the location. Once we got into the room, it was great. I would stay again since I know where it is.

Pictures on the web did not show the room I stayed in, the room I was in was horrible. The room was extremely small, almost closet like and needed to be gutted, walls, floor, ceiling, doors, door ways all needed to be gutted and redone. TV stuck out from the wall in front of entrance to bathroom. All furniture and bed very very old. I chose this hotel because it was vintage and the pictures on the web showed it to be somewhat nice. I would recommend not staying unless you see the room you will be staying in first. Also, the rates should be cheaper since there is no pool, breakfast, or snack shop.

I never write reviews for places but this motel was just so dang cute, clean, and cozy that I think others should know. I'm always a bit hesitent about smaller hotels but I'm super happy that we stayed here and gave it a chance. When we visit again I hope we can get a room here!

It is a nice hotel but we had a weird experience we had our room booked until Monday and on Sunday night at around 9pm we were in bed and all the sudden the person brim office opens our door while we were in bed and had the do not disturb sign hanging. He did not knock before he just opened the door and saw us and closed the door right away. He had no reason to do that since we were checking out on Monday. Very unhappy with that and most of all worried

This a modest, but well maintained motel. The room was small but clean. The room has a very loud window air conditioner, which helped mask noise from the street. Fortunately, I had earplugs. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Best value in Santa Fe! The room was clean, no bugs, no odors. The owners are on site, very friendly and welcoming, taking care of the facility and upgrading. This is a depression era, Route 66 Motel with the charm from that era. We stayed in the room with the queen bed, it was small and basic accommodations. We will be back!
