What a great stay at Lys Homestay. Fantastic location, quiet and chilled environment but very close to main road and bars. Laundry on site which was excellent. Room was great. Able to book taxi and trips out directly with the owner. Could not fault- would recommend

Great location! Awesome breakfast, and they provide free bicycles to explore the area. They also provide scooters to rent, which was a highlight of our trip.

Had an amazing stay at Lys Homestay. Excellent service and they were very helpful. We rented bikes from Lys one day to explore the area, very beautiful scenery. We also rented scooters one day to explore Ninh Binh even more. They also helped us with transport to Hanoi airport. 10/10 would recommend!

Schon beim Betreten des Zimmers hatten wir einen echten Wow-Moment – so liebevoll und romantisch war alles hergerichtet! Die wunderschöne Fototapete gab dem Raum eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre, und die Rosen auf dem Bett waren das i-Tüpfelchen. Das Zimmer war von der Größe her völlig ausreichend, das Bad modern gestaltet mit geschmackvollen Fliesen und einer überraschend großen Dusche. Alles war blitzsauber und gut durchdacht: leise Klimaanlage, Ventilator, Kühlschrank, Smart-TV mit Netflix – und im Bad lagen sogar kleine Extras wie Zahnbürste, Kamm und weitere Hygieneartikel bereit. Das Homestay wird von einer sehr freundlichen Familie geführt, die sich wirklich um ihre Gäste kümmert. Das Frühstück wird à la carte serviert und war jedes Mal lecker. Zudem kann man direkt vor Ort Mopeds oder Fahrräder mieten, Ausflüge buchen oder den Transfer mit dem Bus organisieren lassen. Ein schöner Pool mit Liegen lädt zum Entspannen ein – einziger kleiner Nachteil: es gibt keinen Fahrstuhl. Die Lage ist ideal, in der Nähe gibt es Restaurants, kleine Läden, Spas – und der See ist gleich um die Ecke. Wir haben uns so wohlgefühlt, dass wir spontan eine Nacht länger geblieben sind. Klare Empfehlung – ein Ort zum Ankommen und Wohlfühlen!

Homestay près de l’embarcadère donc pratique pour un tour en barque à Tam coc.Les proprios sont très gentils et serviables: nous avons oublié une veste dans la chambre et ils nous ont appelé pour nous dire qu’ils nous le livrent à notre hôtel à ha noi: bravo et merci ! La piscine est appréciable au retour des balades Le pdj est un peu limité mais à 33€ chambre triple ça reste correct L’hôtel propose des massages et tour opérator qui est un plus

Super petite pension de famille où on vous fait sentir comme un invité et pas juste un touriste de passage. La propriétaire, qui parle français, est très gentille et ne manque pas d’attentions. L’hôtel fait aussi agence de voyage donc ils organisent des excursions à la journée, les transferts entre les villes et location de scooters/vélo pour un prix modique. Les chambres sont assez simples mais propres. L’hotel est dans le centre de Tam Coc qui a su garder un esprit village, c’est très vivant tout autour. J’y retournerai pour l’accueil.

The owner is amazingly kind and helpful! She was very attentive to our needs and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Room was clean and well appointed. Lovely swimming pool. They also have a travel agency and offer tours, transportation as well as bike and motor bike rental… everything you need for your stay in Tam Coc.

We loved our stay at Lys Homestay, the hosts are very accommodating and considerate and the rooms are very nice. The location is tucked away so it's quieter with less traffic which we appreciated and slept soundly, although the neighboring rooster might wake you up early. Even so, it's in a prime location to walk to plenty of good restaurants and only a 10-20 minute bike ride to activities At Ly's we rented a motorbike to drive to the Trang An boat tour and Bird garden. This was our first time riding a motorbike and they even took time and taught us how to drive it which was beyond what I expected. We also took advantage of doing our laundry here and it was ready within the day, neatly folded and warm! They charge the laundry by weight. When we checked out but still had to stick around town before our late night train to Hue, they stored our luggage for us so we could go out, and they even called the taxi for us to the train station and sent us on our way with two bananas and water bottles and a hug! The best and most wholesome place I've stayed at so far, I would recommend staying here!

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa homestay per 4 notti. La struttura è molto bella e ben tenuta. La camera è molto accogliente, il bagno è grande con la doccia molto comoda. Sia la camera che gli spazi comuni sono puliti. Bella anche la piscina. La colazione è davvero molto buona, comprende succhi, tè e caffè a buffet, un piatto di frutta fresca ed un piatto a scelta da un menù. Abbiamo noleggiato due giorni le biciclette, non solo sono nuove ma la spesa è stata irrisoria. Posizione eccezionale. Quello che però rende questo posto il top è la gentilezza e la simpatia della proprietaria e della sua famiglia.

Location is perfect if you want to be close to everything. The rooms are very comfortable and well maintained with everything you need. There is a pool that is very nice to cool down in when you return from the days activities. Breakfast was tasty and prepared per order. The owner Ms Hue was wonderful. She was helpful and friendly with everything you need. It was like staying with family and I can highly recommend them for providing a great experience at a very reasonable price.
Location is perfect if you want to be close to everything. The rooms are very comfortable and well maintained with everything you need. We really enjoyed our stay at Lys Homestay. So many positives - the owner genuinely wanted to help us, the rooms were large, clean and quiet with high quality furnishings, breakfasts were delicious and the location perfect, far enough from the noise, but just a few mins walk from everything. Only comment is that their rental bikes needed maintenance. Highly recommended!

Definitely recommend Lys home stay and actually wish I had a second night there! The staff is so helpful and arranged everything I needed. I was travelling solo and they organized a motorbike guide to take me to all the sites which was a perfect way to get around. They also offer bicycle rentals, and Hang Mus is a really nice afternoon bike ride away from the home stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was great! Highly recommend staying here and am very grateful for all of the amazing help they provided.

部屋は清潔で広くて快適でした。目の前がプールなのですぐ入れて便利でした。ママさんも親切でチェックアウトの時にバナナと水を持たせてくれたり困った事はないかと声かけてくれたり安心して過ごせました。また泊まりたいホテルの一つになりました。

We had a lovely stay at Lys while exploring Tam Coc and the surrounding area. Ly and her family were so welcoming and helpful! The room was clean and spacious. The location was quiet, but you won’t miss out as it’s only a short walk to all of the restaurants and bars (also recommend Family Restaurant for food). Would stay again if we go back to Tam Coc :)

Les chambres sont assez simples mais propres. L’hotel est dans le centre de Tam Coc qui a su garder un esprit village, c’est très vivant tout autour. J’y retournerai pour l’accueil.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa homestay per 4 notti. La struttura è molto bella e ben tenuta. La camera è molto accogliente, il bagno è grande con la doccia molto comoda. Sia la camera che gli spazi comuni sono puliti. Bella anche la piscina. La colazione è davvero molto buona, comprende succhi, tè e caffè a buffet, un piatto di frutta fresca ed un piatto a scelta da un menù. Abbiamo noleggiato due giorni le biciclette, non solo sono nuove ma la spesa è stata irrisoria. Posizione eccezionale. Quello che però rende questo posto il top è la gentilezza e la simpatia della proprietaria e della sua famiglia.

Our time at Lys Homestay was wonderful! The fresh fruit that was part of breakfast every morning was a particular highlight. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable, making for a very relaxing stay. It is run by a lovely family, who make you feel welcome and well taken care of. They also helped us book the next leg of our journey and gave helpful advice. The location was fantastic as well, allowing us to walk to nearby restaurants and explore Tam Coc. A wonderful place run by a very kind family!

It was our first time staying in a Homestay. So it takes some time getting used to not having all the facilities. The family is very nice and helpful. A little bit more care can be given to cleanliness, better breakfast options. The location is excellent and the ease of having Lys arrange reasonable tours and travel arrangements is unparalleled.

What a great stay at Lys Homestay. Fantastic location, quiet and chilled environment but very close to main road and bars. Laundry on site which was excellent. Room was great. Able to book taxi and trips out directly with the owner. Could not fault- would recommend

We really enjoyed our stay at Lys Homestay. So many positives - the owner genuinely wanted to help us, the rooms were large, clean and quiet with high quality furnishings, breakfasts were delicious and the location perfect, far enough from the noise, but just a few mins walk from everything. Only comment is that their rental bikes needed maintenance. Highly recommended!

This was an excellent homestay! The family were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms large and comfortable. The location was great, close to everything in Tam Coc. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Had the best 2-days stay at LYS Homestay. Rented bikes and drove around the rice fields which is really close by. All of the LYS-family were really friendly and helpfull. Our room fitted our family perfectly. Would definitely be back again.

部屋は清潔で広くて快適でした。目の前がプールなのですぐ入れて便利でした。ママさんも親切でチェックアウトの時にバナナと水を持たせてくれたり困った事はないかと声かけてくれたり安心して過ごせました。また泊まりたいホテルの一つになりました。

We had a lovely stay at Lys while exploring Tam Coc and the surrounding area. Ly and her family were so welcoming and helpful! The room was clean and spacious. The location was quiet, but you won’t miss out as it’s only a short walk to all of the restaurants and bars (also recommend Family Restaurant for food). Would stay again if we go back to Tam Coc :)

Schon beim Betreten des Zimmers hatten wir einen echten Wow-Moment – so liebevoll und romantisch war alles hergerichtet! Die wunderschöne Fototapete gab dem Raum eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre, und die Rosen auf dem Bett waren das i-Tüpfelchen. Das Zimmer war von der Größe her völlig ausreichend, das Bad modern gestaltet mit geschmackvollen Fliesen und einer überraschend großen Dusche. Alles war blitzsauber und gut durchdacht: leise Klimaanlage, Ventilator, Kühlschrank, Smart-TV mit Netflix – und im Bad lagen sogar kleine Extras wie Zahnbürste, Kamm und weitere Hygieneartikel bereit. Das Homestay wird von einer sehr freundlichen Familie geführt, die sich wirklich um ihre Gäste kümmert. Das Frühstück wird à la carte serviert und war jedes Mal lecker. Zudem kann man direkt vor Ort Mopeds oder Fahrräder mieten, Ausflüge buchen oder den Transfer mit dem Bus organisieren lassen. Ein schöner Pool mit Liegen lädt zum Entspannen ein – einziger kleiner Nachteil: es gibt keinen Fahrstuhl. Die Lage ist ideal, in der Nähe gibt es Restaurants, kleine Läden, Spas – und der See ist gleich um die Ecke. Wir haben uns so wohlgefühlt, dass wir spontan eine Nacht länger geblieben sind. Location is perfect if you want to be close to everything. The rooms are very comfortable and well maintained with everything you need. There is a pool that is very nice to cool down in when you return from the days activities. Breakfast was tasty and prepared per order. The owner Ms Hue was wonderful. She was helpful and friendly with everything you need. It was like staying with family and I can highly recommend them for providing a great experience at a very reasonable price.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lys Homestay, the owner and her family were very helpful and told us what to expect at various places so we weren’t surprised or taken advantage of. They arranged a driver for us who drove very safely and we felt very comfortable throughout. The homestay is in a great location and very close to the lake. Would encourage you to stay at Lys Homestay.

We can’t say enough about the friendly, genuine and reliable service we received at Lys Homestay. Nothing was ever too much trouble, they went over and above our expectations. Unfortunately I fell ill whilst on holiday, however Lys arranged a doctor immediately which put us both at ease. Lys arranged our transport for our medical visit plus all our day trips and for the next trek of our holiday destination. Lys,s local knowledge of the area was super helpful and she was a pleasure to deal with. This service excellence was also felt by all other family members during our stay. Perfectly situated with a short walk to restaurants and shopping.We highly recommend Lys Homestay. We know we will definitely return here on our next stay. Thanks Lys and all the family for making our stay such a memorable one. Greg and Gill.

Definitely recommend Lys home stay and actually wish I had a second night there! The staff is so helpful and arranged everything I needed. I was travelling solo and they organized a motorbike guide to take me to all the sites which was a perfect way to get around. They also offer bicycle rentals, and Hang Mus is a really nice afternoon bike ride away from the home stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was great! Highly recommend staying here and am very grateful for all of the amazing help they provided.

Had an amazing stay at Lys Homestay. Excellent service and they were very helpful. We rented bikes from Lys one day to explore the area, very beautiful scenery. We also rented scooters one day to explore Ninh Binh even more. They also helped us with transport to Hanoi airport. 10/10 would recommend!

Super petite pension de famille où on vous fait sentir comme un invité et pas juste un touriste de passage. La propriétaire, qui parle français, est très gentille et ne manque pas d’attentions. L’hôtel fait aussi agence de voyage donc ils organisent des excursions à la journée, les transferts entre les villes et location de scooters/vélo pour un prix modique. We had a wonderful welcome and they will do anything to help you. They arranged transport for us and we hired their mopeds with great suggestions on where to go. The price is fabulous value and includes breakfast- you really can’t go wrong

We loved our stay at Lys Homestay, the hosts are very accommodating and considerate and the rooms are very nice. The location is tucked away so it's quieter with less traffic which we appreciated and slept soundly, although the neighboring rooster might wake you up early. Even so, it's in a prime location to walk to plenty of good restaurants and only a 10-20 minute bike ride to activities At Ly's we rented a motorbike to drive to the Trang An boat tour and Bird garden. This was our first time riding a motorbike and they even took time and taught us how to drive it which was beyond what I expected. We also took advantage of doing our laundry here and it was ready within the day, neatly folded and warm! They charge the laundry by weight. When we checked out but still had to stick around town before our late night train to Hue, they stored our luggage for us so we could go out, and they even called the taxi for us to the train station and sent us on our way with two bananas and water bottles and a hug! The best and most wholesome place I've stayed at so far, I would recommend staying here!

Location is great for taking a bicycle to Bich Dong & Hang Mua. The owners arranged a motorbike taxi to take me to Trang An for the boat tour when I arrived & the driver waited to take me back. Everyone is so helpful & welcoming!

Super petite pension de famille où on vous fait sentir comme un invité et pas juste un touriste de passage. La propriétaire, qui parle français, est très gentille et ne manque pas d’attentions. L’hôtel fait aussi agence de voyage donc ils organisent des excursions à la journée, les transferts entre les villes et location de scooters/vélo pour un prix modique. Les chambres sont assez simples mais propres. L’hotel est dans le centre de Tam Coc qui a su garder un esprit village, c’est très vivant tout autour. J’y retournerai pour l’accueil.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa homestay per 4 notti. La struttura è molto bella e ben tenuta. La camera è molto accogliente, il bagno è grande con la doccia molto comoda. Sia la camera che gli spazi comuni sono puliti. Bella anche la piscina. La colazione è davvero molto buona, comprende succhi, tè e caffè a buffet, un piatto di frutta fresca ed un piatto a scelta da un menù. Abbiamo noleggiato due giorni le biciclette, non solo sono nuove ma la spesa è stata irrisoria. Posizione eccezionale. Quello che però rende questo posto il top è la gentilezza e la simpatia della proprietaria e della sua famiglia.

They also helped us book the next leg of our journey and gave helpful advice. The location was fantastic as well, allowing us to walk to nearby restaurants and explore Tam Coc. Location is perfect if you want to be close to everything. The rooms are very comfortable and well maintained with everything you need. There is a pool that is very nice to cool down in when you return from the days activities. Breakfast was tasty and prepared per order. The owner Ms Hue was wonderful. She was helpful and friendly with everything you need. It was like staying with family and I can highly recommend them for providing a great experience at a very reasonable price.

Homestay près de l’embarcadère donc pratique pour un tour en barque à Tam coc.Les proprios sont très gentils et serviables: nous avons oublié une veste dans la chambre et ils nous ont appelé pour nous dire qu’ils nous le livrent à notre hôtel à ha noi: bravo et merci ! La piscine est appréciable au retour des balades Le pdj est un peu limité mais à 33€ chambre triple ça reste correct L’hôtel propose des massages et tour opérator qui est un plus

Personalet har vært veldig hjelpsomme både med tips til hvilke severdigheter vi burde se, tilbud og tjenester og en generell vennlig holdning. Hotellet er godt plassert i Tam Coc, og fungerer også som reisebyrå og scooter/sykkel utleie.

Loved Ly’s Homestay. A friendly/family welcome on arrival with a nice cold homemade mango juice and a platter of cold fruit. Location is perfect. Accommodation perfect. All the family very helpful and wanting your stay to be memorable. They offer bike rental, tour bookings, money exchange and whatever you need they will help. It is lovely and quiet and did I mention a great location. So many eatery options, karaoke clubs and bars with nightlife available within walking distance. The awesome clean pool was a perfect refreshing bonus and breakfast to order was superb. We only stayed for 3 nights but wished it was more. There is so much to see and do in Tam Coc / Ninh Binh, that a longer stay would have been great. It was a very memorable goodbye, where the whole family came to see us off. Kisses, handshakes and hugs galore. Even offered bottled water and fruit to see us on our way. We felt blessed!

Nous sommes ravis de notre expérience au Lys Homestay. Nous avons eu un accueil très agréable de la gérante qui parle français en plus de l'anglais. Nous sommes accueillis avec des fruits frais et un grand sourire. La chambre et la salle de bain étaient très propre, ainsi que les parties communes. Nous avons fait une excursion à la journée en passant par l'agence de l'hôtel, tout s'est très bien passé et les tarifs sont compétitifs. Du début à la fin nous avons été accompagnés et chouchoutés par le personnel, je recommande cet hôtel à 100 % ! 😊

Great place to stay close to everything right in centre of town the staff are amazing can’t help you enough and the breakfast was excellent Lys also hires out scooters and bikes and is great for a tip where to go I would totally recommend this place and if I ever go back would definitely stay again
