Bella Rosa Hotel

We stayed at Bella Rosa for a week and had a great experience overall. The location is excellent right in Hamra, which was perfect since my husband grew up in the area and wanted to be walking distance from all his childhood nostalgic spots. The room was clean, and housekeeping was available upon request rather than daily, which we actually preferred since we didn’t want anyone coming into the room unnecessarily. As expected in Beirut, the electricity does cut occasionally, but the hotel has backup power, and we never lost electricity for more than a few minutes. The only small issue was the AC, which would sometimes turn off during those brief outages and not automatically restart so I’d wake up feeling quite warm. Noise levels were good thanks to solid concrete walls you might hear someone moving furniture upstairs, but overall it’s quiet. Like most places in Lebanon, smoking is common, but as a non-smoker, I didn’t notice much smoke smell inside the room, which was a relief. The blackout curtains were excellent, and one of my favorite parts was hearing the five daily athans from the nearby masjid. Overall, we recommend Bella Rosa Hotel for anyone looking for a clean, convenient, and comfortable stay in the heart of Hamra.
