Miramar Cottage

6 of us stayed overnight whilst cycling the Munda Biddi trail, which passes within 50 metres. The house is very comfortable with a nice wood burner, and good facilities. The host is communicative and accommodating. It suited our requirements perfectly.

Had not been cleaned. No firewood, freezing cold. Vile smell throughout home.No towels, dirty bedlinen balled up in middle of bed.could not stay there. Did receive promot refund which was appreciated.

There is no smoke detectors in the building.There is no exhaust fan in the bathroom or toilets.The deck out the front of property is in need of repair.The barbecue out the back is not usable. The house was very clean but not up to a standard for public use.

Does not match the description on the website, very unkempt, especially the garden in front of and behind the house, cobwebs everywhere on the terrace, dirty stove and toaster, no internet, no TV, no heating. Not suitable for dogs as there is no enclosed garden. We had to lock the terrace entrance so that our dog could at least go there freely.

Arrived to accomodation that had not been maintained outside. Long grass, weeds and overgrown garden beds. Bag half full of cans on back verandah. In side had not been turned over from previous guests. Beds slept in, stained sheets. Used towels and tea towels. Floors unvacuumed. Someone came and turned over while we left for a while. Coffee machine doesnt have correct pods supplied, they dont fit, not even close. Has potential, currently lacking in organisation and attention to detail.
