Big and comfortable capsule hotel. Clean room, nice common area to sit, rest, eat. Hair dryer sometimes only available on the 9th floor, where the public bath is, so that was a bit inconvenient.

心斎橋と長堀の駅から徒歩10分ほど。百貨店などがある心斎橋からは反対側ですが商店街も近くにあり、とても便利でした。フロントの方もとても感じが良かったです。夜1時頃に8Fでシャワーを浴びたのにドライヤーは9Fにしかなく、そのためだけに階を移動するのは少し面倒でしたが、翌朝になったら8Fにも置いてあったのでもしかしたら騒音対策だったのかもしれませんが、知らずに探してしまったので事前に案内があるとよかったなと思います。

Property is about a nine minute walk from the metro, with a shopping district nearby. There is cafe style seating on the base floor with a microwave. The capsule itself is double sized, with a small built in desk and closet in addition to the bed mattress and TV. Lots of room for luggage inside the capsule itself. There is also a safe inside, above the nightstand. My floor had two toilets, two sinks, and two shower stalls shared among about 12 beds. There is also a Japanese style bath in the top floor with a tub and larger hot pool. Overall the staff were super friendly, the place felt bright, new, and clean. Would definitely stay here again.

A fantastic capsule hotel especially for the price. The room is tall enough for me, a 6'3" person to kneel. I could fit in my carry-on luggage into the room and nothing happened to my larger suitcase which was looked after by the front desk. The public bath is a godsend for when you've spent the day walking around Osaka or doing day-trips to other areas. The location is pretty good, being about an equal distance from Hommachi and Shinsaibashi stations. The Namba market is also a stop away and is only about a 1km walk away if you want to save some money. The staff are also very kind and polite. My two main gripes with the hotel is that the futon is a different sleeping experience for me and I wasn't able to sleep on my side for long, and that the safe provided couldn't fit my laptop. But it is otherwise a fantastic place and I wish more capsule hotels would learn from it.

The staff were great! The place had way more space than a hostel and even an onsen on the top floor which I didn't expect before I arrived. The staff kept bringing new towels every day so I ended up with a pile of them when I left, but too many is better than too few I guess!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Cargo! I was going to be in Osaka on my own for one night and as Japan is the only country that I know of that has capsule hotels, I was super keen to try this out. Cargo did not disappoint - immaculately clean and organised and the staff so helpful with check in. Highly recommended

기대한만큼 좋았습니다~ 아쉬웠던 점부터 말하면 객실 내에 세면대, 샤워실이 어떤 문 없이 같은 공간에 있어서 바로 옆이나 앞 캡슐 사람은 좀 시끄러울것 같다는 생각이 들었습니다. 그리고 9층 목욕탕 실내 탕은 좋았으나 야외 노천탕은 있으나마나 인거같아요. 그냥 욕조에 고인 물이나 마찬가지여서 안에 오염물이 가득..ㅜ 아 또 도톤보리랑 거리가 생각보다 많이 떨어져있었네요 10분거리가 생각보다 더 길었어요. 이것들 말고는 다 좋았어요! 고객응대 면에 있어서 특히 좋았어요 ㅎ 아주 친절하십니다.

Not only was this place very clean, but the staff was incredibly professional as well. First of all, their attire, they were all wearing suits. Second, their manners were very professional as well. Lastly, I was impressed by how frequently they cleaned the commonly used utility space like the toilets and sinks and kept them sparkling clean at all tikes. It has truly left a much improved impression of how clean capsule hotels can be after a disappointing experience at Tokyo.

Your allocated sleeping area is small, but actually quite cozy if you are traveling light. It's pretty quiet and I hardly noticed other patrons when in my nook. I love the public bath on the 9th floor; people hardly used it, so it was basically like having a big bath to yourself most nights. The premises are quite clean and well-kept and the lounge area on the first floor is great for hanging out. However, the Wifi isn't too strong inside your room, so you may have to go to the common area to get a stronger signal. Located in Shinsaibashi and a short walk to Dotonbori, Namba, and other parts of Osaka. It is even close to the station that makes a direct route to Nara, increasing the number of places you can easily travel to!

初めてドミトリーの類に泊まりました。初めての1人旅で、今まで2人以上でしかホテルに泊まったことがなかったので、1人で安いホテルはちょっと怖い&寂しいなと思っていたので、清潔感が微妙だったりユニットバスで1人部屋のホテルに1万円前後で泊まるくらいなら、ネカフェかドミトリー系にしようと迷っていました。ドミトリーやゲストハウスのようなところはどこも最低限のアメニティと清潔感だと思っていたのですが、こちらはお部屋がまとまっているだけで、あとはその辺のビジネスホテルよりすっごく良いです。女性と男性は１階のコミュニティスペースのようなところと2階のフロント以外は完全に隔離されている（エレベーター自体が男女で分かれている・カードキーで作動）ので、安心感がすごくありました。あと泊まった時にいらしたフロントの方が信じられないくらい親切でした。高級ホテルにいても遜色ないレベルで対応が早かったです。あとはすっごくキレイでした！トイレはほぼほぼペーパーが三角折されているし、洗面ルームもコットンや綿棒まである、大浴場もちゃんとキレイ&人あんまり来ないのでのんびりできました。ユニットバスが無理な人間なので、こちらはシャワールームか大浴場が選べるし良いです。この清潔感と設備で5000円しないで泊まれるのはありがたいです。道頓堀や難波までも徒歩で30分しないで行けるし、ユニバに行くのは少し乗り換えが多いですが、ちゃんと調べて案内を見て動ける方なら余裕です。この価格でこの設備なら大満足すぎるくらいですが、サクラレビューと思われたくないので強いて挙げるならば、布団が少し薄め・集合部屋&外人さん同士で来る方も多いので話し声やアラーム音などの生活音が無理な方には向きません。あと私は上の部屋だったので気にならなかったですが、下の部屋だと出入りは楽だと思うんですが、恐らく上の部屋の人次第でうるさい場合はありそうです。また1人で大阪に来る時は利用させていただきたく思います。ありがとうございました。

Very modern and well equipped. Staff very friendly. The capsules are long enough for tall people to sleep in (e.g. 6'3") and basically the size of a double bed but with a single size futon to sleep on with the extra space for storage. Can definitely recommend for people not used to capsules who want to try it out. It's still a hostel mind, so the obvious downsides come with that e.g. 14 people per dorm, noise etc but if you're okay with that this is an excellent hostel It's a hostel so exoe

Can definitely recommend for people not used to capsules who want to try it out. It's still a hostel mind, so the obvious downsides come with that e.g. 14 people per dorm, noise etc but if you're okay with that this is an excellent hostel It's a hostel so exoe

Honestly I didn’t not expect the cabins to be so small. I also didn’t like that the mattress was too thin because it hurt my back. Also, the WiFi would not work sometimes. The only thing I liked was the public bath.

Very nice Capsule Hotel with a very spacious bed area, lounge downstairs, and extremely friendly staff. Absolutely amazing value for the money. Would absolutely stay here again!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Cargo! I was going to be in Osaka on my own for one night and as Japan is the only country that I know of that has capsule hotels, I was super keen to try this out. Cargo did not disappoint - immaculately clean and organised and the staff so helpful with check in. Highly recommended

Actually it is quite good for stay for a few days. However, it is a little bit far away to the subway stations. The lobby is at 2/F but it is no worry, because the staff will help you to transfer your luggage by using the lift.

The service is top notch. It’s like a 4 star service for a hostel dormitory. I left behind an ear bud in my dorm bed and they mailed it to me!!!! They are amazing. So clean. Everything was excellent! Thank you again for going literally the extra miles.

The location of this capsule hotel is ideal, especially since it is close to several subway lines and is walking distance from the Shinsaibashi shopping arcade. The neighborhood is very quite and safe. The hotel staff are very helpful and knowledgeable, and have front desk personnel who can speak English and even Chinese.

Great place, located right in the heart of Osaka. Dotonbori is a 10-15 min walk away and there's plenty of restaurants, shops, convenience stores and subway stations nearby. Would definitely recommend staying here if you're looking forward to live the experience of staying in a capsule hotel.

Cabin and shower/ toilets were clean, good for travelers who just needs a place to sleep and out for the whole day. About 10 min walk to Shinsaibashi station, which is has everything you need. Another 10 mins gets you to Dotonburi.

The capsule itself is double sized, with a small built in desk and closet in addition to the bed mattress and TV. Lots of room for luggage inside the capsule itself. There is also a safe inside, above the nightstand. My floor had two toilets, two sinks, and two shower stalls shared among about 12 beds. There is also a Japanese style bath in the top floor with a tub and larger hot pool. Overall the staff were super friendly, the place felt bright, new, and clean. Would definitely stay here again.

신사이바시역이랑 가까워서 이동하기 좋아요! 도톤보리도 걸어서 금방이고 우메다랑 센노지, 오사카 성도 지하철로 빠르게 갈 수 있었습니다☺️ 그리고 캡슐호텔인데도 내부가 생각보다 넓어서 캐리어 펴놓고도 잘 지냈어요 ! 다음에 오사카오면 여기서 또 묵고싶음 ,,!!

A fantastic capsule hotel especially for the price. The room is tall enough for me, a 6'3" person to kneel. I could fit in my carry-on luggage into the room and nothing happened to my larger suitcase which was looked after by the front desk. The public bath is a godsend for when you've spent the day walking around Osaka or doing day-trips to other areas. The location is pretty good, being about an equal distance from Hommachi and Shinsaibashi stations. The Namba market is also a stop away and is only about a 1km walk away if you want to save some money. The staff are also very kind and polite. My two main gripes with the hotel is that the futon is a different sleeping experience for me and I wasn't able to sleep on my side for long, and that the safe provided couldn't fit my laptop. But it is otherwise a fantastic place and I wish more capsule hotels would learn from it.

It’s about a 15 min walk from dotonbori, train stations and Shinsekai. Also, there is a Lawsons convenience store across the street, so if you want to get a quick bite anytime you have access to the store. Staff was very friendly, very clean space, & a quiet and safe neighborhood. The only thing that was not my favorite were the mats. I wish they were a little bit thicker so I didn’t have to feel the floor beneath me. Other than that I would stay there again!!

I booked this place, wanting a capsule experience, and found the “capsule room” more appealing to someone traveling with a suitcase. Everything was comfortable /clean/organized until it was time to sleep. I, unfortunately, was uncomfortably hot, even sweating while trying to fall asleep. I tried keeping my curtain open to get some air flow, but the vents were pumping hot, thick air into the corridor. I ended up leaving the building at 3am to cool myself down and went across the street to the convenient 7/11 where I bought 2 ice creams and 3 cold water bottles. I managed to get 3 hours of sleep that night by lying on the water bottles and occasionally pouring water on my face. It legitimately felt like 90 degrees ferinheihht, and that is a lowball guess. I want to think there was a problem with the air, or something abnormal about that particular night. However, I would not have been able to make that discovery, as I booked a hotel at 4am for the remaining nights I was staying in Osaka. The heat and anxiety got the best of me. I was pleasantly surprised when the front desk offered a refund for the remaining two nights of my stay. I was not expecting to get my money back. I suggest that those who are temperature-sensitive contact the property before booking to see if there are personal temperature controls. Otherwise, pack 2-3 portable fans and keep it very light to avoid overstuffing your room and adding to the stuffiness.
