The property was beautiful clean and plenty of towels ect. But didnt have toilet brushes. We needed more bin holders we where only given 2 for 10 days with kids. And a broom. Or..dust pan and brush to pick up fine stuff, sand in the toilets or kitchen area. A few more Coffee, Tea, Sugar, Salt and Pepper ingredients wouldnt go astray. Its is a lovely big lounge area to feel homely. Just need a bit more for thought...in the kitchen, save buying it. We ended up buying them.and donated them the young guy on the front desk...family man with 4 kids. And gave him a nice tip, for his help planning our way around the city, ubers calls...ect. Our plane arrived at 11.30 so we got in a 2.30 early...4.00 checks seems the norm...but if the room is ready...it shouldnt be a issue..a quick message and we where in. It made our day run more smoothly...sitting around in foyer waiting to get in...was hard. So the front desk allowed us to go into the pool...which we where eternal grateful for. The convenience of being near a major shopping center was great...quick dinner in food courts, made the family life easier for all. Waikiki was too busy for me...but each to there own. Rooms are spacious and views lovely...no need for Air Conditioning that high up.

Pros -lobby, pool, weight room -Starbucks on site -close to shopping & conference centre -staff were friendly Cons -noisy - room was behind elevators, up to 50dB all night long from elevators moving up and down. Complained about it but they couldn’t move us. Stay away from any room ending in ‘01’ regardless of floor. -communication - everything was through email, they were relatively quick to respond unless it was something they couldn’t solve like moving us to a different room because of the noise, in that case they didn’t respond until the next day -no hot tub

Room and location was fantastic. Amenities great. Loved the restaurant, pool, bar, cafes. Only issue was the lack of response regarding early check in. Arrived at 8.30am (My issue), but check in was 4pm. Emailed multiple times over a few days trying to get an earlier check in. No response. Would recommend this location though.

We booked a 2 bedroom suite and loved it. The unit was on the 34th floor and was spacious with multiple lanais in each room. The kitchen was stocked with 2 blenders which we did not use, but a rice cooker which we used everyday! I would rent this unit again for the size and location. We found that parking was only difficult to find if you come back very late in the evening; this wasn't a problem for us, because we were always back before 9pm. I would absolutely stay here again.

This was a good option at this property. It was the time share side so you have the comfort of the same rooms as the hotels side but you only Have basic room services. They will come in a do a mid stay clean like a vacuum and courtesy change of sheets and towels, but they normally charge extra for this on a shorter stay. We were here for 11 nights so they looked after us pretty well. Nice room with city view but wow, NOISY. Sirens and loud cars, garbage collection in the alley way at 3 am even on the 27th floor it was so loud we could not keep the door open a night. We have stayed on the ocean side before and it was not much better. Honestly, this was worth the savings to stay here with Castle. So close to the mall and beach and bus service is right out front. Car rentals in the lobby and Starbucks makes it very convenient.

We rented through Expedia as a package deal. Upon checkin we were told by staff that this was third party and as such there would be no housekeeping, additional towels or any services provided to us. The facility is old and run down. There are 2 floors with laundry services but the laundry on floor 3 had broken down washers for the entire week stay. There is a large homeless population surrounding the facility and they just set up tents and pee all over the sidewalks. Oh and dont even think about using their phones- papers in the rooms say even local calls are charged at $0.75 each. Get real. Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere!

Check-in was frustrating — the manager made us wait a long time while they fixed paperwork issues on their end. Thankfully, Expedia stepped in and resolved everything quickly without me even having to ask. That’s why I always book with them. The hotel’s location is excellent, right next to the mall, which was super convenient with a toddler. We also appreciated the buffet and on-site convenience store. Just be aware that parking is pricey — about $40 per night.

Had a good stay, but I have to say, needs a little bit of an update. Room felt clean but lamps by the beds were almost falling out of the wall. We love staying here though for a quick staycation! Bonus that Starbucks is literally downstairs in the lobby.

The hotel is good but the room we get has to many problems on the bathroom, The shower is very small and with very little water pressure it is very difficult to take showers, the sink was plugged and they took more the two days to fix it. we found out have cockroaches. The fridge was not working good. They don’t have service of recollection of garbage so we have to take care of it

We went to check in a little early & was told that this was a privately owned room. We were not allowed to check in till 3 pm. We waited. Then while checking in, we were told of ALL these added fees that were being applied. What a disappointment and very frustrating way to start our vacation. We couldn’t cxl the reservations because of more added another fees. Finally get our keys. Go to the bathroom, there is a big hair ball by the shower, the towel had moldly yellow brown & black stains on them. I tried to message & call the contact info numerous times. The number didn’t work & chat/msg told me someone will contact me with a few days. No one contacted us. Never got any new towels or any service. We left early and no response still. Very disappointed and appalled. Ala Moana Hotel couldn’t do anything about it because it was privately own. The staff has encountered too many complaints time & time again & would not like to endure that experience for the guests but there’s nothing they can do. Having privately owned rooms in a Hotel such as Ala Moana doesn’t make any scene.

The room was clean and better than we expected. A great view and we got to enjoy the fireworks show which was welcomed surprise! We enjoyed being able to walk to the mall which was so convenient. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again!

No coffee, tea or creamer provided. Coffee maker is an old machine, drip style. Floor had coffee stains with grinds. Bathroom light was flickering and dim, and bathroom had no functioning extraction fan. Small soap, shampoo and lotion for 2 persons for 4 days. The AC was very noisy. The bed was comfortable and the balcony view was pleasant.

Our plane arrived at 11.30 so we got in a 2.30 early...4.00 checks seems the norm...but if the room is ready...it shouldnt be a issue..a quick message and we where in. It made our day run more smoothly...sitting around in foyer waiting to get in...was hard. So the front desk allowed us to go into the pool...which we where eternal grateful for. The convenience of being near a major shopping center was great...quick dinner in food courts, made the family life easier for all. Waikiki was too busy for me...but each to there own. Rooms are spacious and views lovely...no need for Air Conditioning that high up.

Pros -lobby, pool, weight room -Starbucks on site -close to shopping & conference centre -staff were friendly Cons -noisy - room was behind elevators, up to 50dB all night long from elevators moving up and down. Complained about it but they couldn’t move us. Stay away from any room ending in ‘01’ regardless of floor. -communication - everything was through email, they were relatively quick to respond unless it was something they couldn’t solve like moving us to a different room because of the noise, in that case they didn’t respond until the next day -no hot tub

We booked a 2 bedroom suite and loved it. The unit was on the 34th floor and was spacious with multiple lanais in each room. The kitchen was stocked with 2 blenders which we did not use, but a rice cooker which we used everyday! I would rent this unit again for the size and location. We found that parking was only difficult to find if you come back very late in the evening; this wasn't a problem for us, because we were always back before 9pm. I would absolutely stay here again.

Do not recommend. I was freezing the first day because ac would not stop running could not get a hold of anybody until a day before our flight then the toilet started leaking just a horrible experience I will not be booking again property owner is unreliable and did not communicate at all Completely dissatisfied & owner will not even issue a partial refund. The room was clean and better than we expected. A great view and we got to enjoy the fireworks show which was welcomed surprise! We enjoyed being able to walk to the mall which was so convenient. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again!

No coffee, tea or creamer provided. Coffee maker is an old machine, drip style. Floor had coffee stains with grinds. Bathroom light was flickering and dim, and bathroom had no functioning extraction fan. Small soap, shampoo and lotion for 2 persons for 4 days. The AC was very noisy. The bed was comfortable and the balcony view was pleasant.

Had a good stay, but I have to say, needs a little bit of an update. Room felt clean but lamps by the beds were almost falling out of the wall. We love staying here though for a quick staycation! Bonus that Starbucks is literally downstairs in the lobby.

1901 is near the elevators, but the convenience of the short distance and some of the fastest elevators in existence outweigh the distraction of the elevator noise. This is our third time on the property, and we enjoy the convenience of the location to the center and nearby restaurants.

Upon booking you are charged a resort fee. Upon checking in you are also charged a resort fee and a Check in/out fee. The fee was not disclosed until a day before checking in and not upon booking. I assumed I paid for that fee when I booked as it clearly stated it. The blankets were very thin. You are unable to ask for additional items while there. There is a fee of $25 if you request an additional towel. The towel was not an issue. The blanket was the issue for our stay. I left a voicemail requesting a blanket, but they did not respond.

They also only provide a limited supply of toiletries and will charge you for toilet paper. Overall, people are better off booking through the actual Ala Moana Hotel because it comes out being the same price and you can get house keeping, etc.

We went to check in a little early & was told that this was a privately owned room. We were not allowed to check in till 3 pm. We waited. Then while checking in, we were told of ALL these added fees that were being applied. What a disappointment and very frustrating way to start our vacation. We couldn’t cxl the reservations because of more added another fees. Finally get our keys. Go to the bathroom, there is a big hair ball by the shower, the towel had moldly yellow brown & black stains on them. I tried to message & call the contact info numerous times. The number didn’t work & chat/msg told me someone will contact me with a few days. No one contacted us. Never got any new towels or any service. We left early and no response still. Very disappointed and appalled. Ala Moana Hotel couldn’t do anything about it because it was privately own. The staff has encountered too many complaints time & time again & would not like to endure that experience for the guests but there’s nothing they can do. Having privately owned rooms in a Hotel such as Ala Moana doesn’t make any scene.

Once you book your reservation, you think you’ve paid everything but nope. Day before check in, email is sent about hotel fees. Hotel fees include a daily charge for “hotel service fee” but when I call hotel for trash service or any maintenance, they said people who rent from Zello do not get access to hotel services. When I inquired about what I am paying a service fee for if not service, front desk said “for check in and check out”. That is something they help with once each yet I am required to pay a service fee for every day I stay at the hotel (6 days total). Ridiculous pricing and lack of communication.

Sample : 10am checkout, no daily room cleaning service.no inroom safe, toilet paper and towels are liimited. More hidden fee like checkin fee. If you are okay with my problem , go ahead and book it. Be careful.

The property is in a convenient location. However, it's not managed by the hotel, but through a different real estate agency. Its check-in is still done by the hotel though with a very long line around 4:00 pm. It took us over an hour to get through. This is unexpectedly long wait and upset some family members.

I would give the hotel a solid three stars. As for Orgoto, don’t expect to get a response from them if you need anything. I would recommend booking the hotel directly. You will have housekeeping as well as help from the front desk.

Check-in was frustrating — the manager made us wait a long time while they fixed paperwork issues on their end. Thankfully, Expedia stepped in and resolved everything quickly without me even having to ask. That’s why I always book with them. The hotel’s location is excellent, right next to the mall, which was super convenient with a toddler. We also appreciated the buffet and on-site convenience store. Just be aware that parking is pricey — about $40 per night.

The room is in a large hotel whose front desk checks you in and informs you that you are not a guest of their managed area of the hotel and therefore they are not responsible for you. It’s not a good feeling of welcome - warmth — or as they say in Hawaii — no Aloha! Room is clean with a nice view — but it’s weird. There is no shower body soap. The Toilet paper roll with a 75% used size. A Kleenex box with only a single tissue with no replacement box. Next time I stay there I’ll get a room in the hotel managed side.

The property was beautiful clean and plenty of towels ect. But didnt have toilet brushes. We needed more bin holders we where only given 2 for 10 days with kids. And a broom. Or..dust pan and brush to pick up fine stuff, sand in the toilets or kitchen area. A few more Coffee, Tea, Sugar, Salt and Pepper ingredients wouldnt go astray. Its is a lovely big lounge area to feel homely. Just need a bit more for thought...in the kitchen, save buying it. Room and location was fantastic. Amenities great. Loved the restaurant, pool, bar, cafes. Only issue was the lack of response regarding early check in. Arrived at 8.30am (My issue), but check in was 4pm. Emailed multiple times over a few days trying to get an earlier check in. No response. Would recommend this location though.

This was a good option at this property. It was the time share side so you have the comfort of the same rooms as the hotels side but you only Have basic room services. They will come in a do a mid stay clean like a vacuum and courtesy change of sheets and towels, but they normally charge extra for this on a shorter stay. We were here for 11 nights so they looked after us pretty well. Nice room with city view but wow, NOISY. Sirens and loud cars, garbage collection in the alley way at 3 am even on the 27th floor it was so loud we could not keep the door open a night. We have stayed on the ocean side before and it was not much better. Honestly, this was worth the savings to stay here with Castle. So close to the mall and beach and bus service is right out front. Car rentals in the lobby and Starbucks makes it very convenient.
This was a good option at this property. It was the time share side so you have the comfort of the same rooms as the hotels side but you only Have basic room services. They will come in a do a mid stay clean like a vacuum and courtesy change of sheets and towels, but they normally charge extra for this on a shorter stay. We were here for 11 nights so they looked after us pretty well. Nice room with city view but wow, NOISY. Sirens and loud cars, garbage collection in the alley way at 3 am even on the 27th floor it was so loud we could not keep the door open a night. Check-in was frustrating — the manager made us wait a long time while they fixed paperwork issues on their end. Thankfully, Expedia stepped in and resolved everything quickly without me even having to ask. That’s why I always book with them. The hotel’s location is excellent, right next to the mall, which was super convenient with a toddler. We also appreciated the buffet and on-site convenience store. Just be aware that parking is pricey — about $40 per night.

Had a good stay, but I have to say, needs a little bit of an update. Room felt clean but lamps by the beds were almost falling out of the wall. We love staying here though for a quick staycation! Bonus that Starbucks is literally downstairs in the lobby.

I had corner unit so I overlooked at Bay great firework show on Friday night from Balcony loud cruisers in evening with blaring music heard all the way up to 16th floor not in properties control, Shopping Ala Moana mall almost attached convenient bridge to walk across with out have to cross streets

The Waikīkī tower at the Ala Moana Hotel is undergoing renovation. This Luana Vacation rental has recently been refreshed. Bright colors and updated furniture really have improved this property. Good value for the money

The property was beautiful clean and plenty of towels ect. But didnt have toilet brushes. We needed more bin holders we where only given 2 for 10 days with kids. And a broom. Or..dust pan and brush to pick up fine stuff, sand in the toilets or kitchen area. A few more Coffee, Tea, Sugar, Salt and Pepper ingredients wouldnt go astray. Its is a lovely big lounge area to feel homely. Just need a bit more for thought...in the kitchen, save buying it. We ended up buying them.and donated them the young guy on the front desk...family man with 4 kids. And gave him a nice tip, for his help planning our way around the city, ubers calls...ect. Our plane arrived at 11.30 so we got in a 2.30 early...4.00 checks seems the norm...but if the room is ready...it shouldnt be a issue..a quick message and we where in. It made our day run more smoothly...sitting around in foyer waiting to get in...was hard. So the front desk allowed us to go into the pool...which we where eternal grateful for. The convenience of being near a major shopping center was great...quick dinner in food courts, made the family life easier for all. Waikiki was too busy for me...but each to there own. Rooms are spacious and views lovely...no need for Air Conditioning that high up.

The room is in a large hotel whose front desk checks you in and informs you that you are not a guest of their managed area of the hotel and therefore they are not responsible for you. It’s not a good feeling of welcome - warmth — or as they say in Hawaii — no Aloha! Room is clean with a nice view — but it’s weird. There is no shower body soap. The Toilet paper roll with a 75% used size. A Kleenex box with only a single tissue with no replacement box. Next time I stay there I’ll get a room in the hotel managed side.

No coffee, tea or creamer provided. Coffee maker is an old machine, drip style. Floor had coffee stains with grinds. Bathroom light was flickering and dim, and bathroom had no functioning extraction fan. Small soap, shampoo and lotion for 2 persons for 4 days. The AC was very noisy. The bed was comfortable and the balcony view was pleasant.
