Siesta Key Condo

The condo is completely renovated, everything new which was great. Very close to the pool, and short walk to the beach. Kitchen well equipped, beach chairs and beach towels. Rental manager very quick to respond. Would def stay again!

This property was very clean and organized, incredible private beach, 3 public pools which are family friendly, and useful beach items that come with the property. There was some concern with the flimsiness of the front and back door but that’s alright. In general our family had a lot of fun and enjoyed every moment.

If I could give this a zero star, I would. The unit was not listed and pictured properly online. There is a long list of problems with the unit. To start, the front door isn’t secure. The air conditioner didn’t effect nicely cool the unit. The bathrooms and closet space was laughable. The smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling by a wire. The internet was terrible. Then on top of all of this, we discovered a broken window in the second bedroom. When I contacted the host to discuss this, he said I didn’t know how to work a thermostat and TV. I asked him to work with me on a cancellation and he refused to respond. The only positive I saw was the close proximity to the beach. Bottom line, DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

We enjoyed our stay! The unit was very nice and appeared recently updated. We were very appreciative of the beach gear we were able to use during our stay. Beautiful private beach, way less crowded than the public beach down the way! Definitely recommend!

Let’s start with the positives: Great location, beach chairs provided at condo were nice, and interior was clean for the most part (some ants, but sprayed ant killer and it took care of it). It was fairly stocked (was good enough for what we needed) but most of the items provided were old/cheap. Trolley stop was across the street from entrance - very convenient. Beach access was a short walk (but a hefty walk to the ocean itself (but that was the case regardless of where you stayed in that area).Negatives: Property was MUCH smaller and older than photos made it appear. Guest bathroom was extremely small (could barely turn around in it, let alone get ready). Minimal space to store personal bathroom items or even sit hair dryer/curling iron while trying to get ready (hair dryer cord was too short to use outlet in bedroom where there was more room to move). Water pressure in guest shower was feeble at best.Bed in guest bedroom was like laying on a piece of plywood. Exterior was unkept (dirty windows, weeds, etc.). The condominium facility grounds were unkept (grass high, weeds in landscaping, and dumpsters were overflowing). The beach towels provided were paper thin (had to go out and buy new ones). Each bathroom was only provided (2) bath towels, (2) wash cloths, and (1) hand towel and only (1) kitchen towel for the entire stay. In the description of amenities it clearly states a “private washer/dryer in unit”(have screenshot) -it doesn’t. Furniture very uncomfortable!
