This was a nice hotel, conveniently located in central Nairobi near Nairobi National Park and shopping centers. The hotel is clean, has a nice restaurant/bar with good food, and the staff is excellent. Nairobi is a busy city with lots of traffic. I would not consider it walkable, but Ubers and taxis are convenient and affordable. If you like meat, the famous Carnivore restaurant is right next door to the hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of booking a deep tissue massage session with Jian, and it was truly an outstanding experience. From start to finish, Jian demonstrated a high level of professionalism and expertise. Her deep tissue techniques were incredibly effective, and she really helped relieve the long-term tension I had in my back. I felt completely at ease and in very capable hands throughout the entire session. I can’t recommend her highly enough if you’re looking for a skilled and caring massage therapist.

Nice stay for business hotel. Restaurant is overpriced and area around hotel not great. I would recommend to stay in Karen if heading out that way but overall nice stay with descent facilities.

Very clean! Safe. Didn’t use the pool but hotel amenities were great! Gym was well appointed, clean and very well maintained Massage services offered didn’t have a dedicated spa area. Rather massages were given in spare hotel rooms. Explains the “affordable” prices offered. Let’s just say the massages my wife and I received from Eve and Jane were absolutely outstanding. Very professional and extremely well done! From our discussions with both Eve and Jane we understand both are trained as Massage Therapist and the treatments we received were worth every penny! Hopefully a dedicated spa facility will be available to truly showcase the spa services. Staff in the dining area and front desk very extremely polite and friendly. Service was excellent!

We stayed at the Tamarind Tree for one night in August of 2024. The hotel presents as a high-end business hotel. It is located in a neighborhood that one might think twice about walking around in, however, the hotel itself is very secure and felt very safe. The room was quite large, clean and comfortable. The pool and restaurant are very nice and clean and the breakfast buffet was much better than average. The staff was very helpful in every way. We stayed there due to it both being close to Wilson Airport (we were headed out to Masai Mara) and it being close to Carnivore Restaurant, which we wanted to try. In fact the Carnivore is actually part of the hotel property and a hotel staff member walked us on a nice pathway straight to the restaurant, and one of the restaurant security members walked us back. I would still have felt secure without the escort, but it was nice. We would definitely stay there again in the future.

I had a short overnight at Tamarind Tree hotel - I was joining a tour to Masai Mara early morning with breakfast included with my tour. The hotel is clean and staff pleasant. I was surprised that there was a hole where the mini bar should have been. I was told that it was given on request. The mini bar should have been there based on the rate charged.

Very professional and extremely well done! From our discussions with both Eve and Jane we understand both are trained as Massage Therapist and the treatments we received were worth every penny! Very clean! Safe. Didn’t use the pool but hotel amenities were great! Gym was well appointed, clean and very well maintained Massage services offered didn’t have a dedicated spa area. Rather massages were given in spare hotel rooms. Explains the “affordable” prices offered. Let’s just say the massages my wife and I received from Eve and Jane were absolutely outstanding. Convenient to Wilson and Nairobi National Park. Ask for driver Gerold to take you in private car through park to see many animals: rhinos, ostrich, water buffalo, caracal leopard.

This was a nice hotel, conveniently located in central Nairobi near Nairobi National Park and shopping centers. The hotel is clean, has a nice restaurant/bar with good food, and the staff is excellent. Nairobi is a busy city with lots of traffic. I would not consider it walkable, but Ubers and taxis are convenient and affordable. If you like meat, the famous Carnivore restaurant is right next door to the hotel.

We stayed at the Tamarind Tree for one night in August of 2024. The hotel presents as a high-end business hotel. It is located in a neighborhood that one might think twice about walking around in, however, the hotel itself is very secure and felt very safe. The room was quite large, clean and comfortable. The pool and restaurant are very nice and clean and the breakfast buffet was much better than average. The staff was very helpful in every way. We stayed there due to it both being close to Wilson Airport (we were headed out to Masai Mara) and it being close to Carnivore Restaurant, which we wanted to try. In fact the Carnivore is actually part of the hotel property and a hotel staff member walked us on a nice pathway straight to the restaurant, and one of the restaurant security members walked us back. I would still have felt secure without the escort, but it was nice. We would definitely stay there again in the future.

Fabulous property. I highly recommend the stay at this place. Quiet and clean. External tour companies were willing to pick us up from the hotel. I also recommend the breakfast buffet. It had many options.

Hi, The hotel was clean but very mediocre and basic. I would rate it 2 or 3 stars at most. The area surrounding the hotel appeared to be a little rough. Now, there is a great restaurant near this hotel that was awesome! I think it was called "Carnivor" or something like this. Very good food, staff, and atmosphere.

Hotel property was great, BUT, before you book, call and see if they are having a party on the grounds they own next to them. They set up for days before and tested the sound at night and the night of the party they went past 3:30AM and the room was so loud even though they moved us to the other side. It was miserable.

Clean room. After a full day of flying from Dallas Texas the check in was simple. We took advantage of the spa the next day to help with jet lag. Jane who gave me my massage did a fantastic job. As she is a physical therapist her knowledge of anatomy was good. She knew the joints and muscles just right to give an exceptional massage. I found the location, cleanliness and service staff excellent.
