Hotel Mondavi

We were pleasantly pleased at checkin with the hotel but were awakened at 5am with dripping water in our room. Hotel staff did quickly respond and provided a room across the hall.

The hotel was very clean and close to the ferry.

This is a Korean ‘business hotel’ which means it is firmly geared towards single men. There was an air of cigarette smoke, and the seedy-looking ads for ‘dabang’ (a cover for prostitution) made me feel unsafe as a single female traveller.

Great hotel

Convenient location to the Mokpo Ferry Terminal. Hotel was easy to find and easy parking. Checked in late around 10:30pm. Hotel front desk receptionist was friendly. What I did not find pleasant was the hotel room. The bed was not comfortable, it was hard and there was a stain on the blanket/duvet cover and our room reek of cigarettes. We didn\'t use the blanket and ended up using the "robes" (brand new, still in plastic bag) to cover ourselves with for the few hours of sleep since we had an early morning.
