Steigenberger Hotel München

Wonderful modern room, 2 minute walk to Muller Cafe for pastries, short walk to Brunnwart Restaurant for authentic Bavarian food (roast pork is fabulous as is the red cabbage and the apple strudel), 4 minutes walk to Ubahn subway, where you can go to Marienplatz and see the historic Rathaus (city hall) and have an amazing meal in the Rathaus Keller. After a full day of sightseeing, don’t miss going to the Wellness Spa in the hotel. This spa is truly luxurious, with amazing saunas, steam rooms, foot baths, relaxation areas, and showers…a great way to unwind!

Durchgangshotel. Angebote tlw. noch nicht verfügbar (Fahrräder). Fitnessraum naja. Zimmer am ersten Tag: Fernseher ohne Funktion, Kaffeemaschine undicht, Schrank von Kaffeemaschine bleibt nicht auf. Parkgebühren naja. Vor der Tür kostenlos. Frühstück und das Restaurantpersonal sehr gut.

the food in the restaurant was great, room was good amd clean, the staff on the desk remembered me from last time which was really nice. The breakfast was really good too, and the sauna.. wow the sauna...legendary.

Unterkunft war sehr angenehm. Personal war zuvorkommend, Zimmer sehr sauber und bequemes Bett. Leider war das Fitness doch sehr klein - wer kein Fitness braucht, ist aber sehr gut aufgehoben.

Excellent hotel. Great breakfast. Quit and spacious Welness (saunas, steamroom, showers, quiet room, plenty of seats). Staff are professional, service minded. Speaking English or German makes it easy. In a nice quiet area of Munich, but still only 10min walking to the U-bahn and 6 stops away from Marienplatz.

Great stay at the Steigenberger. Very accessible as 10 min walk from the Airport Express bus stop at Nordfriedhof, which runs every 20 mins. Also 10 min walk from the U6 station which provides easy access to downtown Munich. Outstanding buffet breakfast, although a bit pricey at 34 Euro pp. Also a great terrace & bar for a drink or easy dinner at the hotel. Would highly recommend.

Great hotel with comfy beds and super quiet area. Not much to do in the area. The hotel has charging stations which is a plus.

Hotel schon im mittleren Zustand. Das Vorhänge mit rissen und Flecken in unserem Zimmer gingen interessierte beim Check-out nicht wirklich trotz Meldung

Das Zimmer war sauber und das Interieur wirkte gepflegt / modern.

Sehr schön eingerichtetes Zimmer in ruhiger Lage. Hier und da einpaar Mängel in Sachen Sauberkeit. ( Spinnenweben im Bad, Löcher in der Gardine) Nur das Frühstück war eine Katastrophe in Sachen Organisation.

I stayed at this hotel during a trade fair and paid more than three times the usual rate, expecting a high-end experience. The hotel itself is modern and tastefully designed, and the room was impressively spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately, the cleanliness wasn’t up to standard. T floor from the entrance to the sofa area was sticky when I arrived (hopefully just soda). I called reception, and housekeeping responded quickly and took care of it. However, since no alternative room was offered, I had to remain in the room during the cleaning, which was a bit uncomfortable. What surprised me most was the lack of a simple apology or any proactive effort from reception to address the situation. A small gesture would have gone a long way. Overall, the hotel has a lot of potential, especially in terms of design and room quality. With a bit more attention to service and guest care, it could truly deliver on the premium experience it aims to offer.

Meget varierende serviceniveau. Super services check-in, men da vi 2 gange måtte skifte værelse pga. insekter på værelset- var serviceniveauet meget lavt og receptionen var ikke særlig imødekommende. Fint morgenmad og faciliteter, men lidt slidt i krogene og dårligt rengøring

Das Hotel ist sehr schön gelegen im Münchener Norden (Schwabing). Die Anbindung an den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln ist top. Kostenlose Parkplätze findet man mit etwas Glück rund ums Hotel. Die Zimmer sind mit einer Klimaanlage ausgestattet, die für empfindliche Gemüter aufdringlich und vor allem über dem Doppelbett recht ungünstig platziert ist. Ich hatte das Gefühl im Durchzug zu liegen. Ganz abschalten ließ sich die Klimaanlage nicht. Leider mussten wir mitten in der Nacht das Zimmer wechseln, da wir die Nacht nicht mit mehreren Insekten verbringen wollten. Das Ersatz-Zimmer war ruhiger gelegen und einwandfrei.

Das Zimmer war sehr schön, geräumig und meinem Wunsch nach einer Badewanne wurde entsprochen. Etwas störend war das Geräusch der Klimaanlage was sich nicht abstellen ließ. Das Frühstück war mit 35 Euro total überteuert und dabei normaler Standard. Blöd auch dass mir beim einchecken nicht gesagt wurde dass das Frühstück nicht inklusive war und ich dann extra nochmal aufs Zimmer musste um meine Kreditkarte zu holen, da es nicht möglich war den Betrag auf mein Zimmer zu buchen.

Spacious and very functional room, well maintained. Good soundproofing, noise from the highway didn't turn out to be an issue. Quality bedding, very happy with the room overall. Breakfast was worth paying for, though would like to see a tiny variation during my 7-day stay. Underground station is only 5-min walk away. Nice neighborhood. Restaurant/bar proved to be a great choice in the night after a long day exploring the city. Parking could / should be a bit cheaper. Very happy overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city, either for leisure or work.

Es war alles sehr gut, vor allem das Personal war sehr freundlich und professionell. Einziger Nachteil: zumindest in der Etage 5 konnte man nicht die Fenster öffnen. Die Lüftung ging ausschließlich über die Klimaanlage. Ich persönlich habe lieber frische Luft und kann die Klimaanlage nicht so gut vertragen.

The hotel was overall well-run with friendly and helpful staff. My room faced the freeway and was therefore noisy when the window was open to let in fresh air.

Our TV was out of order and although we reported the issue twice, it has been never fixed.

It was a very bad service for the price. People in reception are completely indifferent, dont pay attention to anything. Room is nice but there are 2 matresses on the king bed, so they keep sliding. Room cleaning showed up at 8 in the morning while we sleep, open the door and yelled “Hallo”!!!! When they saw us sleeping in bed they left but this was so inappropirate. Hotel has its own parking garage but the exit is too small that we almost scratch our car. All in all it was horrible and not recommended

After many years of visiting Munich, I was looking forward to staying at this hotel. While the facility is spotless and comfortable, the staff seemed overall unhappy and unaccomidating. I recommend looking elsewhere at this price point.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel mit schönem Sauna Bereich und gut ausgestatteten Zimmern doch das Personal an der Rezeption war sehr unhöflich und man hatte das Gefühl keiner kannte sich so richtig aus und wusste was er tun. Auf den Kunden wurde nicht eingegangen , schlechter Kundenservice. Schade für ein so schönes Hotel aber in so ein Hotel gehört anständiges Personal

tl;dr: * Good location * Great breakfast buffet * Staff did not fix a problem that made our stay annoying * Tried to "make it right", but didn't fix the underlying problem We arrived early from airport eager to get a nap. Understandably, the room wasn't ready, so we got lunch and returned at the normal checkin time. The room was still not ready. So they sent us to the bar to get a free drink, which is nice, but we'd rather have our room. We wait another hour for the room.They give our daughter a little prize bag, and we go to our room. However, our keys didn't work. The reason our key didn't work is that we were never officially checked into the room. So to make things work, they assigned the keys to the room but didn't check us in. This marked our reservation as a "no show". We then have trouble getting breakfast (which we already paid for). I'm assured by front desk this is the last of our problems, everything is fixed. But it's not. Our room wasn't cleaned on our second day (because from the hotel's computer's POV we weren't there the first night). We're offered free minibar drinks to make up for it. I appreciate the hotel did so much to "make things right", but for this hotel category, I expect fewer things to go wrong or at least fixed at the first or second sign of a problem. This, coupled with smaller issues (library was playing two simultaneous pieces of music, outlets that didn't work in room) mean that I can't recommend the hotel without reservation.

1 Woche vorher eingecheckt, angekommen 15 Uhr. Zimmer nicht fertig und online Check in nicht möglich. 15 Minuten an der Rezeption gewartet, kein Drink angeboten bekommen und jetzt noch 30€ für den Parkplatz zu bezahlen 😩 Aufbettung für Kids auch nicht fertig… trotz Reward Mitgliedschaft keine Vorteile 😢

Mixed experience... booked upgrade not recognised at arrival, took ages to get sorted. Next morning included breakfast not recognised and had to pay 34 euros.. later found email confirmation of inclusion so got that sorted only to find the late check.out had not been applied. Real issue was treatment at breakfast, made to feel i was trying to steal from them by a woman with very poor customer service skills. Not sure I'll be back despite the quality of the rooms being great, never had any ussues like this in the Marriott which is 50m away.

Property in a nice quiet neighborhood close to the underground

Great hotel for visiting the Allianz Arena.

Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Umgebung und bietet zugleich eine hervorragende Anbindung an den öffentlichen Nahverkehr. Die nächste Straßenbahnhaltestelle befindet sich nur wenige Meter entfernt und ist bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Von dort aus gelangen Sie schnell und unkompliziert zu allen wichtigen Zielen der Stadt. Sehr zentral und empfehlenswert.

Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen im Steigenberger Hotel. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und ruhig. Der Raum war sehr hoch, was wir uns nicht gewohnt sind. Es hatte alles, was wir gebraucht haben. Der Wellnessbereich ist auch sehr schön und grosszügig. Am allerbesten war das Frühstücksbuffet. Da waren wirklich keine Wünsche mehr offen. Das Hotel ist schön gelegen, zwischen Olympiapark und dem Englischen Garten. In 20 Minuten waren wir mit dem Fahrrad im Zentrum beim Dom.

Top Adresse in München. Super Hotel mit sehr großen Zimmer. Kleines No Go um 10.00 uhr zum Frühstück am sonntag gab es keine Brezeln zur Weisswurst mehr.
