Breakfast needed healthier, tastier local options. More fresh fruit & local bagels (IV Bagel Cafe is good, local corn tortillas instead of English muffins) would elevate breakfast. Pool light was hella bright, kept us up all night. Staff was exceptional. Room was lovely.

The common gathering areas are a very nice perk for this hotel. There are plenty of spaces to hang out with friends which is a very nice perk for families and friends. We loved being on the first floor with a sliding door to the courtyard which was fun and convenient. It is very close to the airport, well-lit parking lot and hallways, and close to shopping, restaurants, and highway.

A really good Residence Inn. Great facilities, nice staff, and a good location. They do charge $15 per day to park in an open lot. Seems like an unnecesary fee that they should waive.

My husband and I are both handicapped and the door we used to get to our room, had a step that was not clearly visible. I fell on my hip and dropped the items I was carrying in. very dangerous.

In one of the doorways to enter the property where several patrons used, there was a major flaw in the design of the door where people kept tripping and falling down. I tripped twice and fell once. We also helped an older gentleman up who had tripped and fell. Very unsafe. We reported it twice while on the facility and nothing was done. We asked for a sign to be put up on the door and nothing was done. Nice hotel, but very disappointing service as it related to safety.

We stayed here for the kitchen, suite and two bedrooms for our family. We enjoyed our stay overall but for what we paid, I was EXTREMELY disappointed that room service did not clean our room. If we didn’t want room service we would have followed the hotel instructions and left the sign out on our door. We purposefully did not put our aign out so that our room wouls be cleaned and serviced while we were out for the day but nope our room did not get cleaned. Frustrated with this because when we travel, as a mom, this is something I really look forward to. When I called the front desk they told me house keeping had left for the day and they could try and figure something out if we left the room for a while. This did not work for our family. The ping pong table was also warped and paddles were broken. Other than that we did enjoy our stay!

This was our second stay at this hotel this year. Front desk service was prompt, and friendly. Room was a good size, clean and well-appointed. The only complaint I had was that the bathroom sink drain holes were dirty and moldy-looking. Otherwise, our stay was perfect.

Set out sign for house keeping to come and they never did! Dishwasher upper rack broken and they didn’t leave soap. Air system was an issue if you turned it off it was so hot if you turned on air it would get cold! People above us were so noisy! It was a total bummer as it was New Year’s eve weekend and from the air system I got so sick I had to cancel our NYE dinner and our anniversary plans! I booked another night hoping I would feel better! I am in bed and my husband is out by himself! Awful way to start the New Year! Haven’t talked to the manager yet as I am hacking up a lung!

I paid $1,200 for two nights and expected much better: 1) The sofa bed smelled like cat urine (or human urine maybe) and we had to ask for it to be changed, after using it for the first night (because we checked in very late). Disgusting! 2) During the first day, I left a couple of footprints from my dirty shoes in the bathroom. Room service came after that but didn\'t mop the bathroom floor, they only changed the towels! Seriously? The front desk told me I have to state I want a daily "full clean" instead of a "refresh clean". This is dishonesty at it\'s finest - how am I supposed to know this option exists if nobody explained this option to me at time of check-in? I can handle most things, but not dishonesty. Residence Inn, do better.

All the staff we met were wonderful:helpful, courteous and friendly. The facility is beautiful and clean, the breakfasts were wonderful. My only concern is that in 4 days, we had no fresh towels or the trash removed except once when I requested it at the front desk.

Very nice hotel with wonderful staff. Tommy at the front desk was very hospitable and friendly. The hotel was clean and nice looking. The lawn games in the courtyard were a hit! Also nice having a complimentary breakfast. Rooms were spacious and well thought out. Would definitely recommend!

I could not satisfy one thing. I stayed #151, facility is excellent, clean and wide enough. However a vibration of smart phone propagae to my room from a room of 2nd floor. I had to wake up at early morning everyday, such as 5:30am.

Modern hotel with nice interior. Right across the street from the airport which is convenient. I wish the room layout was slightly different so that bathroom was not in the bedroom but between the living and bedroom so that our friends can use the bathroom without coming into the bedroom.

I stayed at the property for two days. Everything was good. One complaint i had was that the sofa bed was not usable. That was due to the lumpy mattress. No one could sleep on it. Secondly, i personally don't like to pay for parking. Orher than that the stay was plesant.

It was a lovely structure and clean. We requested early check-in.The staff said they would call when the room was ready, which they did. We said we would be there in 45 minutes. On arriving in less than 45 minutes we found our room had been given to some other party. We had been on a run and needed a shower. It was a great inconvenience. We were visiting family to watch the Super Bowl and had to go to their house unshowered.

My stay was a good one. It would have been superb except for the front desk employee. She had a condescending tone, I did not appreciate. She very rude and argumentative ..I told her the customer is “ALWAYS right” ( even though ..we know it’s not always the case) she objected. May I add… I have worked with the public for over 30 years know how people should be treated. You should never argue with a guest.. I asked to speak to the manager and she kept trying to prevent me from speaking with him. Had it not been for her. My stay would have been excellent. I know it’s hard to find cheerful,pleasant employees nowadays, especially In this day and age with all the anger and hate going around it sure makes a difference what a kind, positive attitude does when you first arrive at your destination.

Not much around the hotel and nothing within walking distance for dining or shopping. No restaurant in the hotel. The breakfast was OK - I loved the blueberry muffins and the oatmeal was good. I never had the eggs or meat, but my friend did. The croissant egg and ham sandwich was awful. We had to wait almost 2 hrs after check-in to get into our room. There was no Do Not Disturb sign to put on the door but I did respond that we didn’t want housekeeping to come to our room. We were very surprised the first morning when we returned to our room after breakfast and a housekeeper was in our room where I had left my purse and everything out in the open. Nothing was taken but we felt violated. The red light blinked on the phones for over 24 hours even after we called about it 3 times. All the staff we met were wonderful:helpful, courteous and friendly. The facility is beautiful and clean, the breakfasts were wonderful. My only concern is that in 4 days, we had no fresh towels or the trash removed except once when I requested it at the front desk.

Lovely property, close to UCSB and other local spots. I did need a car to get to evening dining and shopping, but property was clean, great service, great fitness center and other amenities. I loved having the larger suite and kitchen.

The common gathering areas are a very nice perk for this hotel. There are plenty of spaces to hang out with friends which is a very nice perk for families and friends. We loved being on the first floor with a sliding door to the courtyard which was fun and convenient. It is very close to the airport, well-lit parking lot and hallways, and close to shopping, restaurants, and highway.

Very easy access to all that Santa Barbara has to offer and much less expensive than comparable quality hotels in Santa Barbara proper. Huge rooms with great amenities and wonderful outdoor space. Very nice stay.

Breakfast needed healthier, tastier local options. More fresh fruit & local bagels (IV Bagel Cafe is good, local corn tortillas instead of English muffins) would elevate breakfast. Pool light was hella bright, kept us up all night. Staff was exceptional. Room was lovely.

We actually stayed at this Residence Inn twice as it was a half-way point between our home and where we were going. Great hotel with a VERY nice pool/play area outside. The breakfast buffet, while typical in it's choices, was full of well-prepared food. We'll go back.

We were a bit disappointed. We loved the room and the courtyard amenities, but the breakfast was lackluster, and it was hard to get the room serviced. On our last night—we were in town for a family graduation— we decided to grill and enjoy the hot tub. The grilling station is great, but the hot tub was monopolized for three hours by a group of young people. After two hours I went to request help from the front desk. I was told they would take care if it but they did not. That really felt unfair. We were also paying the resort fee but our family did not get to use the hot tub. Overall a good place to stay especially if you need a kitchen. Shout out to Tommy at the front desk.
