Hacienda Messanges is very close to the ocean and to "La Prade" lake. The owners, Chris and Morgane, chose to build the Hacienda Messanges for its beautiful surroundings, its proximity to the ocean and to the forest, the majestic oak tree in the middle of the garden. This is an amazing place, where you can enjoy breath-taking nights spotting stars in the sky! After travelling around the world, we have made our dream a reality welcoming visitors from all over the world into our colourful home. Located in the middle of a natural reserve, you will enjoy our 4000 meters square of garden. You can read a book under the oak tree, drink a coffee by the swimming pool, or have a siesta in one of the hammocks. There is a direct access to the beach and the lake, for surfing, fishing and for other water sports activities. You can do hiking and discover many trails through the endless pine forest of the Landes. Here, in the Hacienda Messanges we offer you a friendly and relaxed stay where people can exchange and share their experiences. Hacienda Messanges has a retro/vintage style an decorations. We will do our very best to make you feel at home and to make sure that every detail of comfort and wellbeing has been taken into consideration. Surrounded by palm trees, our heated swimming pool is open from 9am to 10pm. The brand new built wooden terrace offers you to laze in the deckchairs, chill in the hammocks, or you can also lie down on the grass of the garden. For your safety and that of your children, and in accordance with the law, the swimming pool is equipped with an alarm system. There is also a natural outdoor shower surrounded by bamboo. Next to the swimming pool is our pool bar we built. Here you can enjoy cold drinks all day and this is also the place for barbecue where we will cook delicious food for you. There is WIFI connection in each corner of the house and the garden. TV is in the in the communal. As the masterpiece of our house, we spent most of the renovation work in the living room. Here you can escape the heat in summer or in the winter sit at the fire place to warm up. The living room is equipped with a sound system, a video projector, a bookcase full of travel books and of any other kind, a corner with an office desk, board games and much more. Opposite of the lounge, you will discover the "home-made" bar. Which is composed out of two pieces of antique furnitures. The Hacienda is located between Moliets and Messanges on the Atlantic west-coast of France (Cote d'Argent). Our property measures 4000square meters. Just right besides us, our neighbour has a pony farm. The pine forest is just across the street, following this street for 2 km and walking over the dunes you reach the beautiful uncrowded beaches of les Landes. Les Landes offers a multitude of opportunities and activities, hiking and cycling paths nearby. The famous Vélodyssée is accessible at just 200 meters from the house (Atlantic cycling route across Brittany and along the Atlantic to the Basque Coast, 1250km). Nearest airport: Biarritz Airport at 41km from us. The airport of Bordeaux-Merignac is at 123km. The Dax train stationis at 28km. The Bayonne train station is at 37km. If you want to play surf we are on the Atlantic coast, close to the ocean, where you will enjoy the famous Atlantic waves. We have numerous cycling paths close to us, 460km of marked trails to be precise! The water activities accessible form us: stand-up paddle and other water sports. The lakes close to us: Lake of Azur, Lake of Soustons, Lake of Sam, Black and White ponds of Seignosse, Etangs of Moisan and the Etangs de la Prade. The Maraix d'Orx, the national natural reserve, is an example of one of the jewels of the region. The reserve contains 247 species of birds and many protected species. An unmissable site to discover during your stay. The hiking and walking paths are limitless in this area! The route of Halage, Santiago de Compostelle and the Natural Park of les Landes de Gascogne, they all offer enchanting circuits for all levels and all types of hikers. The Adrenalin Park of Moliets which is located at 1km from the house. Here you will discover a huge selection of activities: paintball, tree climbing acrobats, quad, mini motorbike, trampoline, air-bag, and catapult! Lot of adrenalin in a perfect spot! You can also play Canoeing in les Landes, with your family or in a group with an experienced team of teachers. Enjoy the Dunes that stretch from the Dune du Pyla (Arcachon) to Anglet is a protected area. Discover the golf course of Moliets, a green paradise. You can also go fishing (regulated) in Tthe lakes of Moisan and in La Prade. Your bed linen and bath towels is provided. Every room has Wi-Fi and a safety deposit box. The house is constructed in a way that it doesn't require air conditioning, during the summer it remains cool in each room. Every door and window has a mosquito net in order to keep bugs and mosquito's outside. Baby equipment is available upon request (baby bed, baby bath, baby highchair). Both double rooms have a view to the swimming pool and an en-suite bathroom. Rooms with wastern exposure face the sunrise. Hacienda Messanges Policies and Conditions: Check in from 16:00 to 20:00.
