Nice quiet location a 5 minute walk into the town. Parking is anywhere along the street which is free but limited so may require a walk. My top floor basic room was more than adequate, kettle included, shared a bathroom with 1 other room that was unoccupied so no probs as the room had no sink. The basic juice, cereal, hot drink & toast breakfast was served in the spacious kitchen with the very friendly hosts. Bridport town centre accommodation is quite pricey so I considered the price paid as fair and yes I hope to return.

Our hosts, along with Lily the spaniel were very welcoming & friendly. Parking is along the road. We found a space opposite on our arrival, but our host was happy to move their car if we'd not found one. Another night we parked a way away just because we were happy to walk and area seemed safe. Breakfast is orange juice, coffee/tea, toast and cereal along with good conversation. We walked the ten minutes into town and found plenty of choice for our evening meal. Bed was really comfortable. No television didn't bother us as we read and enjoy board games. Having two easy chairs made this possible. Bathroom was shared and just next door. In practice we had it to ourselves. Thanks for a pleasant stay.

Shared bathroom was okay. Window in room looking out to garden was dirty and did not appear to have been cleaned recently. Only 2 plug sockets in room, which could be accessed. Well, the house has no signage to indicate where the property is, so can only be found on house numbers? The greeting was very good and was made welcome. We were informed that we had the owner’s bedroom. The bedroom furniture look worse for wear. The drawers were full of the owners personal contents. Dust all over the place? I can understand that all the bedrooms had shared bathrooms. These were dirty/dusty and full of the owners personal things. Showers had a lot of mould around the edges and did not look very inviting? Breakfast being continental was okay. Personally I would not recommend it to anyone, and will not go back, but that is my opinion.

The hosts were great… however, the cleanliness was not good!. Upon inspecting our bed, it was clear that the bedding had not been changed, we found two pieces of grass and several pieces of body hair, including eyelashes…

The hosts were very accommodating and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and plenty on offer. The bedroom was ok. Shared bathroom, which was not in the best state, so we didn’t use the shower. Needs a little tlc.

Room was good. Clean with plenty of space and tea/coffee making facilities. However there was no TV. In this day and age, who doesn’t have a tv in the room. WiFi was excellent. Also, when I booked, I didn’t realise it was a shared bathroom. The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest and I hated having to walk down the landing to go to the loo. 10 minute walk to a wide selection of pubs and restaurant in Bridport high street. Lovely host but certain areas need a good clean. The lack of en-suite and tv mean a no from me.

Very pleasant B&B close to the town centre. The bathroom was shared with on other bedroom, but worked out fine. The house was charming with lovely views, and the hosts were congenial.

Was a lovely stay and the hosts were lovely. Would recommend a cheap tv but it wasn’t a necessity, we just used my iPad. One thing which would have really helped would have been a fan, the nights were really tough due to the heat, could be worth investing in just to take the edge off on the top floor. Thank you though other than the heat the stay was lovely and hosts were very welcoming and open. Breakfast was a nice touch once I knew what continental breakfast meant 😂

We greatly appreciated ALL your support n understanding, from feeding directions to the property, to changing our room to 1st floor, as my partner is no longer agile. Thank you also for allowing him to have his continental breakfast ny cheese sandwiches on arrival, when I was particularly wornout n stressed after such a long hard day. Thanks again

My top floor basic room was more than adequate, kettle included, shared a bathroom with 1 other room that was unoccupied so no probs as the room had no sink. The basic juice, cereal, hot drink & toast breakfast was served in the spacious kitchen with the very friendly hosts. Bridport town centre accommodation is quite pricey so I considered the price paid as fair and yes I hope to return.

Very pleasant B&B close to the town centre. The bathroom was shared with on other bedroom, but worked out fine. The house was charming with lovely views, and the hosts were congenial.

Our hosts, along with Lily the spaniel were very welcoming & friendly. Parking is along the road. We found a space opposite on our arrival, but our host was happy to move their car if we'd not found one. Another night we parked a way away just because we were happy to walk and area seemed safe. Breakfast is orange juice, coffee/tea, toast and cereal along with good conversation. We walked the ten minutes into town and found plenty of choice for our evening meal. Bed was really comfortable. No television didn't bother us as we read and enjoy board games. Having two easy chairs made this possible. Bathroom was shared and just next door. In practice we had it to ourselves. Thanks for a pleasant stay.

Room was good. Clean with plenty of space and tea/coffee making facilities. However there was no TV. In this day and age, who doesn’t have a tv in the room. WiFi was excellent. Also, when I booked, I didn’t realise it was a shared bathroom. The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest and I hated having to walk down the landing to go to the loo. 10 minute walk to a wide selection of pubs and restaurant in Bridport high street. Lovely host but certain areas need a good clean. The lack of en-suite and tv mean a no from me.

The hosts were very accommodating and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and plenty on offer. The bedroom was ok. Shared bathroom, which was not in the best state, so we didn’t use the shower. Needs a little tlc.

Was a lovely stay and the hosts were lovely. Would recommend a cheap tv but it wasn’t a necessity, we just used my iPad. One thing which would have really helped would have been a fan, the nights were really tough due to the heat, could be worth investing in just to take the edge off on the top floor. Thank you though other than the heat the stay was lovely and hosts were very welcoming and open. Breakfast was a nice touch once I knew what continental breakfast meant 😂

We greatly appreciated ALL your support n understanding, from feeding directions to the property, to changing our room to 1st floor, as my partner is no longer agile. ** This venue advertises that it has free on site parking, it does NOT, there is only street parking (which is not plentiful).** Nice greeting and got shown to double room on 1st floor, which was okay. Shared bathroom was okay. Window in room looking out to garden was dirty and did not appear to have been cleaned recently. Only 2 plug sockets in room, which could be accessed. Breakfast included in price was choice of cereal and toast, fruit juices and hot drink, which I arranged to have at 0715 am.

Very disappointing. no parking. ensuite or pleasant room. We booked for a very nice room and ensuite bathroom/toilet, We had neither and were offered a small bedroom bed not made and not clean at all. The ensuite was down a flight of stairs and shared with the owners of the house. we chose not to look at the kitchen where the breakfast would be served. the proprietors were elderly and probably did not understand the minimum quality required. The lady at the property told us several times that we would not get our money back, and therefore there was no option open to us than drive to our home. We had already driven 200 miles and then had to drive another 200 odd miles . A very disappointing experience.

We booked this stay at short notice as a stop off point on a longer journey. We could not have been made to feel more welcome by Andy, Veda and gorgeous pooch Lily. Veda welcomed us and gave us information about eateries ( we chose Rakhang Thai which was freshly prepared and delicious). On street parking was easy and free a few doors up from the house. Had a great nights sleep in a comfy bed. Lovely quiet location and easy walk to local amenities. Tea and coffee making available in our room. Breakfast and a very lovely chat with the hosts in their kitchen before leaving. Brilliant value for money.

Although the hosts were absolutely lovely we found the room and shared bathroom to be well below a minimum standard of cleanliness. The bed however was very comfortable with beautifully clean modern bedding which smelled lovely. New carpet in the room was clean. Breakfast was basic but nice coffee. Expect to have your breakfast served in the hosts own kitchen. We had a nice chat with them over breakfast. This stay would have been fine had the room and bathroom been cleaner and more thoughtfully equipped. Just needs some attention to detail.
