One of the things that I like is that they are pet-friendly. To me that is a plus with a dog. They have picnic tables to sit at with each cabin having a grill to barbecue outside in front. They also have other ways to cook in your room. Microwave, toaster oven etc and all the plates to boot.If you don't want to use the big firepit for everyone, they have smaller ones for each cabin. It has a river that runs by with waterfall that you can hear at night. If you like simple but nice this the place you want.

Stayed one night for a wedding and was very happy with our stay! Easy check in, keys were left for us to pick up. Very clean cabin, cozy and cute! Would definitely stay here again during summer time to take advantage of the pool and river. Loved it!

Clean, nice amenities,beautiful grounds on a river. These are cabins, not modern hotel rooms. The grounds are delightful with fire pits and outside tables in a forested glen. Some older tvs and low water pressure did not deter us, an elderly couple. Would definitely stay again.

Check in late due to staffing issues, NO POOL, not even told before my trip & could have gotten an air b&b for the same price. Promised a refund & they said I could get $25, cost more than that to pay for beach access for a week! Like being by the river but don't swim in it, very disappointed for the price.

Great cabin! This was a great location for us. The room was immaculate, had everything you need, full kitchenette, items for the bathroom, bbq grill. All clean and organized. The property was so pretty, an outdoor pool, nice firepit area and lots of chairs on the grass near the river. Great hiking close by, lovely donkey rescue close, supermarket, responsive staff, highly recommend if staying in the area.

Unfortunately the cabin we stayed in (Cabin 3) had bedbugs. Discovered this around midnight and spent the next several hours using the laundry room to wash and dry all our luggage, which was an additional expense. I raised this with hotel cleaning staff the following day, who were sympathetic and advised me to contact the owner. I attempted to contact them over phone, email, hotel website and through hotels.com but received no response whatsoever. I feel I have given adequate time between my stay (August 2025) and this review for them to, at an absolute minimum, acknowledge my messages. Currently pursuing a credit card chargeback. This is a shame. The location is nice, the room well set up and there are decent amenities. But this really spoiled our stay.

We had rented a room in the motel. The floors were absolutely disgusting I walked from the bathroom to the bed and my feet were black. Also we had them knocking on our door at 9:15pm asking if someone was here scared us to death. So we packed up our things and went to a hotel. I wouldn’t stay here!!!

The property was perfect for a short getaway to Vermont. It had everything we needed, and was above expectations in cleanliness. The grounds were quaint and relaxing with a nice view of the creek. The staff were very helpful and responsive.

Nice place to stay. Would have given 5 stars but bed was not comfortable. Foam mattress with slats of wood for support under it could feel where it was and wasn’t supported. Cabin was located by water which was very nice.

No air conditionner, was hot inside. No body at the office to help with Check in or help if we had any question. They give you a phone number for assistance, but no one is picking up. The room was clean, bathroom was renovated and there is a nice river on site.

The cabin was super cute. It is small but well laid out. It has all the necessities, including microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, etc. Wi-Fi is great and a smart TV is super convenient!

The cabin is pretty cute and well-equipped considering how small it is! Great shower and comfortable bed. I was really bummed that there was no Internet and I suspect this is not unusual. I had trouble figuring out how to work the TV and I called the number I had and left a message but never got a call back. Didn’t like the idea there was no one available to help. Guess it wasn’t considered an emergency!

The room was clean, instructions for entry were provided and worked. The only interaction with staff was by email, and that was fine. The room is not elaborate, and pretty dark. It has some quirks...many appliances on extension cords, interesting bathroom plumbing with a touchy head adjustment on shower valve...but everything worked fine, and met our needs very well for this trip. We had no complaints.

Right next to a creek with a lovely waterfall sound. My only complaint is that the bed was a little too soft for my back. Also, Roku worked but cable didn’t. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

I recently stayed at this motel, and while the room itself was warm and comfortable, the bathroom experience left much to be desired. The shower water wasn’t even warm, making it impossible to take a proper shower. You can wash your face and brush your teeth, but that’s about it. To make matters worse, the shower in our room had a leak and dripped continuously throughout the night, which was both annoying and disruptive to our sleep.

Our reservation was for air conditioned 2 beds room. Upon check-in, it was a double bed instead with no air con. I went to the reception and notified them about the mix-up showing her my reservation indicating that it wasn't what I reserved. She had one cabin available with those options but wanted us to pay the difference. Not sure why we would have to pay for their mistakes. She offered me another room with 2 beds (but still no aircon). But after checking it out it reek smoke smell despite the room being non-smoking. So we reluctantly went to out original room. The room didn't have a screen in the back windows so cross ventilation was problematic to avoid inviting mosquitos inside. As we got settled, I dropped a little bit of water on the floor. After using a paper towel to wipe it up, I noticed that was literally black from the filth on the floor from whipping just a few square inches at the base of the bed. The next morning, getting ready for breakfast, I turned on the switch of the coffee machine and it literality exploded. During all my interaction with the staff I was polite and composed, but really felt unwelcomed and that I was bothering her.

While the weather didn’t cooperate, the cabin was perfect for our “ski” vacation. Pine Crest did a great job keeping us aware of the ice storm and checking in during a couple days of rough weather. Will definitely stay here again, it was a great home base for our family of 4.

Arrived late, key the front left did not work properly and only opened once. No one came to fix it after we told them the key didn’t work. We left the door unlocked all weekend and valuables in the car. Cute spot not well run

The entire 4 nights that I stayed here, there was no heat or hot water. The temperature at night got down into the 30's and there was no heat. I work construction and had no way to take a hot shower after working all day. Sent a message to the manager the first day and got no response. Only reason I stayed here was there were limited places to stay in this rural area and I am working nearby. Two other men that work with me called and the manager said Oops we are out of propane because she didn't think it would get that cold that quickly and never remedied the situation!! The bathroom is so small that my knees hit the door when I sat on the toilet. Stay away!!!

The entire 4 nights that I stayed here, there was no heat or hot water. The temperature at night got down into the 30's and there was no heat. I work construction and had no way to take a hot shower after working all day. Sent a message to the manager the first day and got no response. Only reason I stayed here was there were limited places to stay in this rural area and I am working nearby. Two other men that work with me called and the manager said Oops we are out of propane because she didn't think it would get that cold that quickly and never remedied the situation!! The bathroom is so small that my knees hit the door when I sat on the toilet. Stay away!!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Loved our stay at Pine Crest Motel! The river view was beautiful, the room was clean and cozy, and parking was super easy. Perfect spot for a relaxing getaway!

Exceeded my expectations. I booked a 2 room cabin and it was so cute. Perfect for small family or a few friends. Coffee pot, coffee, fridge, microwave, dishes and silverware provided. Nice pool and creek access directly in front of the cabins. Lake Willoughby is about 20 min drive. Crystal Lake 5 minutes. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay while exploring this beautiful area. 10/10

We spent two days at Pine Crest Motel & Cabins and truly enjoyed our stay. The place is pleasant and very peaceful — perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The cabin was beautiful, cozy, and very warm and welcoming. We had all the amenities we needed to feel comfortable. And if we needed anything at all, we simply had to ask — the service was attentive and efficient. We will definitely be returning! A wonderful place that we highly recommend

Thought we had booked a cabin, but misled a little by 3rd party booking site. Motel was fine. Communication was excellent and Stu was very accomodating after the misunderstanding.

it was a fine room in general, clean and with a comfy bed. the heater, on the other hand, was very loud; i'm not sure if that is intrinsic to that kind of heater or if it needed some maintenance.

So fun! My two young boys and I were here on a ski trip to Jay Peak and staying in one of these little cabins was perfect it was cozy and comfortable. allowed us to prepare our own food, and is close enough to Jay Peak. We’ll be back for sure.

The room was spotless and was stocked with supplies. Rustic feel with coffee and dishes. There was even a hot plate and pans in case you wanted to make a little breakfast. No big box frills, a basic place to stay but very clean and quiet. Stu communicated well as to how and when to check in.
