The gravel drive was a bit of a challenge and we could have done with a 4x4! However, Acorn Cottage was lovely - peaceful and quiet, well furnished, clean and comfortable. Also a lovely welcome pack. A really nice place to stay for a week.

Set in a beautiful and peaceful rural location, Acorn cottage is perfect for a relaxing stay but also convenient for visiting beaches including Bridport and Lyme Bay. Plenty of National Trust properties nearby and dog friendly pubs and places are easy to find. The paddock in front of the cottage is perfect for exercising dogs in a safe, enclosed area. Also a treat to see goldfinch and woodpeckers feeding from the numerous sites around the farm. Finally, a generous welcome basket was provided, including a cream tea! Thank you, highly recommended.
