W6 - Pilot @ Whale Inn

Our host kept good contact and instructions. The room is clean and well organized. We had all the amenities with more privacy than a hotel.Bonus, pet friendly!

The place was quite smelly, dirty, rugs were disgusting. We paid for 2 nights didn't spend any nights. Bed was very high. Very damp, bugs crawling on walls. Pictures not accurate. Dogs nextdoor left unattended barked constantly. Place is unkept and overall nasty. Would not recommend in any lifetime.

The information for access to the unit was sent early and easy to understand. The room was very clean and made our stay enjoyable. The location was great, easy walk to shops, restaurants and the Whale Watching Station. I will definitely stay again when in Depoe Bay.

The room was updated and pretty quiet, surprisingly and bed was very comfortable. Pet friendly was our favorite, nice touch with the doggy blanket!

It smelled! It's damp needs a dehumidifier! All the rugs are dirty and sticky damp! The water smells like sewer in the bathroom.The place was clean. Bed is so high I hurt my back getting on it! We had one half used roll of toilet paper and no extra rolls for a 3 night stay!But the biggest issue is it needs a dehumidifier that's why even the toilet paper roll is damp as well as all those filthy rugs! We had to wear shoes entire stay inside. It's not really pet friendly even though you have sheets for the dogs and a towel, the dog even being a Akita like mine hurt himself the first night trying to get on the bed with me on his dog sheet because the bed is so high off the ground. My husband is 6' 2" and had a hard time!
