What a lovely hotel and bar. 1st time ive stayed here and all the staff and welcoming and friendly. Pub grub style of restaurant which to me absolutely fine. I had the Texas burger and it hit the spot. My bedroom was lovely, comfortable and clean.

We chose this hotel for it's location Westward Ho! The seaside small town is ideally located on the North Devon Coast. Has the most amazing stretch of beach. The hotel was clean, our room had a view of the sea. A good restaurant and bar, for those needing a little recreation there is a games room . Staff very attentive professional.

The room and ensuite were excellent and the staff were friendly. The catering was ok but nothing special and overall it was rather expensive for what was basically a very large pub. I selected it for its location being close to the golf club.

Stayed here for a couple of nights over a long weekend and was very impressed. The rooms are very nice, clean and well decorated, accessed via a small flight of stairs around the back, away from any noise of the pub main building. Plenty of guest car parking, very good food and drinks at decent prices and friendly helpful staff. would stay here again and recommend to others. Excellent choice form the breakfast menu and it was all good.

Repeat trip to this accommodation.. never fails to provide a excellent friendly welcome. Room in attached annexe.. large, modern. very clean and welcoming. Staff are all fruendly whether it is cleaners, bar staff or the owner. Food especially breakfast is well cooked, wide selection and tasty.

Beautiful location. Premises are clean and well laid out. Laid back vibe. Staff very friendly and accommodating, willing to go the extra mile and make special requests hapoen, be it in tge riom, or special meal requirements. This was our 6th visit so shows how good it is.

It was all very good, we asked for a chair for the room and got one straight away. Towels were changed every day and it was all very clean. All staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, plenty to eat, all served fresh. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Waterfront Inn, the only thing I will mention is that we thought we were staying in Bideford, not realising the Hotel was in Westward Ho but it wasn't a problem.

Breakfast was excellent, plenty to eat, all served fresh. Positives about the inn: It's in a good location, the staff were very nice and helpful, the room itself was nice, and decent amount of parking. Negatives: It's a noisy area, boy racers drive down the road all night long, the inn itself is a pub so it closes at 11pm but it's still rowdy afterward and people turn up from taxis at all hours of the night. Our room didn't have AC or a fan, so it was uncomfortably warm and having the window open meant tons of noise from outside. The walls are also thin so could hear the other visitors pretty clearly up all night chatting and laughing. Additionally I had booked this room because it had a view of the ocean but it had a much better view of all the scaffolding around the windows.

Room (petrel)was lovely and comfortable - above the bar but no noise after 10:30 but we were warned about a band playing as a B/H weekend. Didn’t bother us. Breakfast plentiful and lovely, fresh towels every day

We received an upgrade to the seafront apartment which was amazing - fantastic accommodation complete with a large balcony overlooking the sea. The proximity to the beach for all the accommodation was brilliant though.

The Waterfront is a 2 minute walk from the sea. Not quite overlooking it but almost. We had a deluxe double and it was spacious, clean and well equipped. The bed was very comfy. We had skylights which kept the room and large bathroom lovely and bright. There’s an extensive restaurant and bar within the hotel, which looks like you’d never have trouble getting a table, although we didn’t use it during our stay. The breakfast was included and was superb, especially the vegan one. The staff were very cheerful and willing to help, especially one particular staff member who was doing the breakfasts during our stay. The manager was also extremely willing to come and sort out a small query we had in our room. We would definitely recommend this place and will probably go back.

we were in a room just off the main inn & we thought it was just newly renovated & to our surprise found out the renos were years old. A GREAT location, welcoming staff & awesome food,, only complaint would be Storm Amy, with here 80 - 100mph winds, which apparently staff have no control over - HAHA

I can't recommend enough this great pub B&B. The staff are all so friendly and professional. We arrived at a really busy time over Xmas and I was surprised the manager immediately took us up to our room rather than just hand us the keys. The food was excellent and the service top notch. The location right by the beach is amazing and so easy to get anywhere you need to be. The breakfast in the morning was again top notch and the coffee was delicious A big thank you to everyone at The Waterfront Inn and I hope to stay again in the summer

One of the nicest places I've stayed in, lovely room, nice evening meal & breakfast. Best of all was the staff, each person I spoke with were very helpful. Would definitely stay here again, loved it.

We had a really comfortable stay at this beautiful location. Staff so friendly too. It was simply fitting all our needs and exceeded our expectations in terms of breakfast and size of the room.

Excellent service and cleanliness - perfectly situated with good facilities. Breakfast fresh and hot - with again great service / gluten free / veggie and vegan options. The room was perfect for a family so much space and storage - would stay again

Stayed here for a couple of nights over a long weekend and was very impressed. The rooms are very nice, clean and well decorated, accessed via a small flight of stairs around the back, away from any noise of the pub main building. Plenty of guest car parking, very good food and drinks at decent prices and friendly helpful staff. would stay here again and recommend to others. Excellent choice form the breakfast menu and it was all good.

Disappointed with main dinner I had fish and chips and it didn’t taste like cod and it wasn’t cheap sent it back breakfast in morning nice size beans freezing and mushrooms would stay again just wouldn’t eat there

Dejligt beliggende hotel tæt ved strand med store sten. Ved lavvande bliver stranden meget bred og næsten til en sandstrand. Hotelværelset rent og pænt. God og billig mad kan købes på hotellet. Morgenmaden var god, typisk engelsk morgenmad med mulighed for at vælge flere slags menuer.

We found the stay very enjoyable. The hotel was in an excellent location for the local amenities and the beach. Parking was never a problem. There were plenty of places to eat and drink, both inside and al fresco. We particularly enjoyed the Thatchers cider. Everywhere was very clean and all the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. We would be very happy to recommend your hotel to anyone we know going to Westward Ho, and would like to return one day.
