The property is beautiful. It sits right on the bay and the view is amazing. The town is so clean and quiet. The area is family friendly and each establishment felt like you entered an aunt’s home. I absolutely loved it. And they have free EV parking at the resort!

These cottages are comfortable, cute and clean! You can tell they take care of the property. The pool is fantastic, as is the beach area. The wildlife is really amazing to watch - there were ducks, geese, seagulls and dolphins! It's also really easy to get to and has good parking.

We had an amazing family trip at key west cottages. The property’s gorgeous, just as photographed. Cottages are roomy and spacious. They feature benefits of a hotel (linens/towels/toieltries) while feeling like you’re staying in your own vacation home. We had one minor housekeeping issue the first night but the staff quickly and appropriately addressed. The kids (and adults) loved the pool. It’s saltwater and heated. Our room looked right over the bay and private beach. Would definitely return!

Very quaint property. Cottages were well equipped with bath towels, toiletries, and kitchen items. Enjoyed beach area and picnic area which had two gas grills. Enjoyed watching wildlife and sunsets. Would definitely come back!

I stayed in the Key Lime Cottage with 2 friends. The cottage is beautiful, clean, and very well stocked. There are two gas grills and a firepit overlooking the water that guests could use. The pool is huge and looked very nice. Loved this place!! Would definitely return!!

My family and I stayed at a cabin for a week. The grounds and cabin's are well kept and attractive. The pool was not only clean but heated. The amenities were fantastic from laundry to pool towels to a firepit on the beach to bikes we could sign out and use. The staff was extremely helpful and accomodating. We were able to do some fishing right from the hotel itself as well. I would highly suggest a relaxing stay here!!!

This is a wonderful place - fabulous location. Unfortunately the digital key never worked for the pool area which was a pain. And any additional K cups were an additional $1 which seemed really petty. But other than that it was great.

Over all complex was great. Friendly staff lobby employee were very helpful and kind. Pool looked nice didn't use it though. Plenty of space in the cottages. Set up was good. Only complaint was the hair on the walls of the shower.. otherwise it was a great stay.

The cottage was perfect for our two-night stay, and we will definitely come again! The check-in was easy, and the space was immaculately clean and very comfortable. We highly recommend a bay view, and we found the location central to everything on Chincoteague. Thank you for a lovely trip!

Key West Cottages is adorable, clean, has excellent amenities, and there are comfortable beds. We truly enjoyed our time at Key West Cottages. The cottages have everything you need for a relaxing vacation: full kitchen, spacious bathrooms and bedrooms. Cleanliness was superb.

Lovely cottage a short walk from central part of main street. Very clean and well equipped. Swimming pool perfect especially after long days out and about. Free bikes was brilliant. Although there is a 2 hour usage policy as there are so many we were allowed to use them for 3 hours and 4 hours each day which was fabulous as it allowed as to cycle and enjoy Assateague without stressing about getting back in time. Only downside was the noise of the dehumidifier but when asked to have this switched off the reception sorted it out quickly with the maintenance staff, so satisfactory conclusion. Highly recommend Key West Cottages!

We really enjoyed our stay at Key West Cottages. Very unique! The staff was very accommodating and friendly! The cottages are really cute. I would of given it a 5 star rating and it killed me to give it a 4. However, two things that tarnished our stay. No screens in the sliding doors and only one screen out of four in the windows that faced the bay. Either had to have everything shut on a beautiful night or deal with flies. Screens are important. The other issue was the ants. Otherwise the stay was nice

Our cottage is adorable (very modern & well-appointed) with the most beautiful view. There is a lovely pool and the grounds are well-kept. Check-in was super easy as was check-out. Parking right out front. We’ll be back!

We love the little cottage on the dock. The beds were so comfortable. The shower was not very strong though and it was hard to rinse. They also need to add a vent to the bathrooms for the steam. Loved the experience other than those 2 things!

Loved the location of the cottage on the water. Enjoyed sitting on the porch and just relaxing. The small cottage was perfect for my husband and I, plenty of room for two people. We just loved the the atmosphere of the property and will definitely come back!

Brand new, super clean cute little Key West style cottages. We enjoyed the free use of their bicycles which was a nice plus. Great customer service, the staff went out of their way to help with dining and activity suggestions. The location is right next to the bridge, so be aware the many of these waterfront views include the traffic (and traffic noise). Only quibble was it seemed quite odd to be threatened with a $50 fee for not taking out your own trash to the dumpster at the end (they don't service rooms during your stay), considering they will be sending in housekeeping anyway.

We were responsible for all housekeeping for more than a week, but they were stingy with supplies to do our own housekeeping. I had to list what items I intended to clean (sink, toilet, light switches, etc) in order to access cleaning items. At one point, the hospitality worker directed us to Dollar General to go buy our own cleaning supplies. They didn’t even have spare sheets. We asked for clean linens and then we had to turn our sheets in so we could get them back hours later. We were there for eight days and they only provided us with one dishwasher pod. Great hotel room, but I felt like I was in court testifying every time I needed detergent to run the dishwasher.

I would have liked to have been greeted when we arrived. Kerri Moller wasn't very friendly :( The other workers on the property were very nice and friendly. The first impression means a lot! All guest should be greeted with a smile and if working with another guest, an I'll be right with you would be nice and not to mention PROFESSIONAL!

Been coming to Chincoteague my whole life and after staying at KWC over Xmas I will never stay anywhere else. The staff were so kind and sweet, the convenience of having my own bedroom and bathroom and how modern and clean it is, completely unmatched! 5 stars!

Property in great condition, pool and fire pit great, being near the beach was nice. The power outlets didn’t work initially, front desk was notified and it was fixed fast. Tv remotes had no batteries, once front desk notified it was fixed. Great parking, safe area.
Property in great condition, pool and fire pit great, being near the beach was nice. The power outlets didn’t work initially, front desk was notified and it was fixed fast. Tv remotes had no batteries, once front desk notified it was fixed. Great parking, safe area.

We spent 2 wonderful nights at Key West cottages.. had a wonderful experience. Suzanne at the front desk was great. She shared with us all the local events and gave a great tip about driving on the wildlife refuge service road to see the wild ponies. We truly had a great vacation!

Brand new, super clean cute little Key West style cottages. We enjoyed the free use of their bicycles which was a nice plus. Great customer service, the staff went out of their way to help with dining and activity suggestions. The location is right next to the bridge, so be aware the many of these waterfront views include the traffic (and traffic noise). Only quibble was it seemed quite odd to be threatened with a $50 fee for not taking out your own trash to the dumpster at the end (they don't service rooms during your stay), considering they will be sending in housekeeping anyway.

This place is beautiful and so relaxing. The pool and beach area is well equipped with chairs and tables. A flame heater for cool evenings. The staff is so nice. Best customer service we've experienced in years. So refreshing. I highly recommend this place. Sandy is awesome 👍

The property is beautiful. It sits right on the bay and the view is amazing. The town is so clean and quiet. The area is family friendly and each establishment felt like you entered an aunt’s home. I absolutely loved it. And they have free EV parking at the resort!

We had to make a last minute change in plans and luckily found the Key West Cottages! Perfectly located just over the bridge and within walking distance to great food and shops. Easy distance to Assateague. Staff was very helpful and the property is gorgeous. Loved the cottage we were in and the kitchen was well equipped! The pool and fire pit are not to be missed! We will definitely be back!

First stay with Key West Cottages but it will not be our last. I feel like we found a closely held secret when we booked this stay and my experience only reinforced that thought. Greeted on check in, very kind and welcoming woman. The facility itself is crisp and clean. Well kept and shows strong effort of the staff to keep things nice. Pool was warm and clean. The cottage itself was clean, linens and towels were clean and of high quality. The cottages are quiet. Did not hear other guests when inside our cottage. Took the advice of the person at check in and walked down to the Ropewalk Chinoteague and had a good meal in a pleasant surroundings. It seemed like there were extended families or families who are on vacation together but staying in separate cottages visiting when we were there. I would believe that is a nice option for families who like their own space. All in all a great stay. I would recommend Key West Cottages. Location is perfect for those heading to Assateague Island and beach. The entrance to the park is an easy five minute drive away.

We had a great long weekend and definitely will be back at some point. Only issue to be concerned of if you are looking to kayak—it’s not safe to launch from here. They do not enforce a no wake zone in the bay in front of the hotel and boats fly by. We would’ve been tossed over immediately. However I met with the host Sandy who was great and gave us the tip to bring our kayak to the other side of the island and launch from Memorial Park. Thanks Sandy!! This was the best and limited boat traffic. We also loved that the area was very walkable with lots to do in town. Our cottage was clean and new and we had zero complaints at all.

The property is great overall and Susette at reception was excellent. However, we were disappointed with the town itself. I guess our expectations were too high before coming here. We were expecting a more quaint small town vibe like St. Michael or Annapolis for example, with quaint small boutiques shops and great dining.

The cottage was perfect for our two-night stay, and we will definitely come again! The check-in was easy, and the space was immaculately clean and very comfortable. We highly recommend a bay view, and we found the location central to everything on Chincoteague. Thank you for a lovely trip!

The resort was very clean & had all the amenities we could have wanted. The local food was amazing but be aware that most places are closed on Tues & Wed so there are limited places to choose.

The cottages were cute. Kids loved it. A little different from your typical hotel room. More importantly, it was very clean. The beds were comfortable. No issues with parking. There’s a nice pool and complimentary bikes to use. You can fish right outside the cottages. There was no restaurant on site, but many restaurants nearby. We enjoyed our stay.

These cute, spacious and modern cottages are an absolute delight. First and foremost, I credit all of the wonderful amenities and attributes to the amazing staff. Mary and Curtis were by far the most helpful, friendly and kind. The space was immaculately kept from grounds to cottage, top notch. The price is right in line and the added ability to use their complimentary bikes around the island are a great way to tour and stay out of the car!

These cottages were perfection for our family vacation. The cottage was clean and had everything possible we could need. The pool was a lovely touch and a perfect way to relax. We were lucky enough to see the fireworks during our stay over the water!

I stayed in the Palm Cottage. I was told that the particular cottage I was given was the most requested, and I now I know why. The view was absolutely incredible. Though it was surrounded by other cottages, it felt like I was in a space all by myself. It was so quiet and peaceful, though it was during the off-season, there were still lots of people there, but they were not making much noise. The cottage was so cute and comfy, clean and welcoming. The staff were so friendly and provided information about the cottages and surrounding areas on the island. I will definitely be going back 😊.
