Had to use the phone to call someone to check us in. Property in an industrial area, and the road in seemed more like an old parking lot. No refrig or microwave in room. We are seniors, I am 79, wife 67. We were placed on the second floor, no elevator, had to make multiple trips with our stuff. Parking lot not well lit. Will not return. Staff friendly, and the room was clean though.

No fridge or microwave as stated would have in the reservation. AC was completely off, so the room was very hot and muggy when entering. Had to call the front desk staff to check in and check out as they were not at the desk either time. Noticed breakfast was on the reservation however, I was not told how to get to it nor were there any signs. The carpet was dingy and lifted, so a tripping hazard. No elevator. The hotel is behind an active construction site

Really nice, just renovated motel. No real exciting amenities but we prefer a nice clean, functional place to stay for the value. Dinner on end of property nice as well. Stayed there while racing at Pitt Race. Room for race car trailer and tow rig.

The air conditioning unit was fixed on 72 and couldn't be changed. It's a basic room. No ironing board, tissues, small coffee pot, or blow dryer. The staff were very nice. Quiet room.

It smelled of weed even though it said no smoking and no drugs. The waitress was VERY high. Bathrooms flooded. Not a clean place.

The room itself was nice (although you may want to bring extra pillows). The AC worked well, the bed was comfy and small soaps, shampoos, etc. were provided. However, there was a strong smell of smoke and other substances in the public areas. The front desk was not staffed, and the front door and stairwell were not secured. I visited the restaurant an hour before close and the employees seemed very done with it all (which is fair, but not pleasant on my end). (The food was okay.) The inn is accessed via the construction company's driveway, which is in bad shape.

The room had a bad smell. I was given a room without a frig, when it showed came with frig. I asked at desk and was moved to one with frig. The carpet in the room was very nasty/dirty would not walk around bare foot.

The motel is nice. The room was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. It was a good value for the money. The area around the hotel leaves something to be desired. The Ambridge Inn sits behind a business that has various construction materials stacked up. It's not messy with litter or anything like that but it is unsightly. In spite of that, I'd stay at the Ambridge Inn again.

This motel in located in an industrial area in north Ambridge. My understanding is that ownership and management changed hands in spring 2023; apparently it once exclusively served railroad personnel but now is open to the general public. Over a two-night stay I had no complaint about the cleanliness or condition of the facilities. Conspicuously absent was a desk attendant most of the time. A phone number was posted for guests to request help. While I was there it seemed only a tiny handful of guests were present. It was a little eerie.

The Ambridge Inn overbooked the hotel and canceled my reservation with no notice. When I arrived at midnight, I was informed that they had no rooms available, despite my reservation. A Taylor Swift concert was in town that day and it looked like they just rented the room to someone else at an inflated price.

The outside is not preaty but it is a good value, the room was clean and the bed fine. I booked here because I had to get to the airport in the AM. There are hiding gems where one can find food and drink within a couple miles. Id stay there again. Dont be afraid when you pull up to the front.

It smelled of weed even though it said no smoking and no drugs. The waitress was VERY high. Bathrooms flooded. Not a clean place.

The room itself was nice (although you may want to bring extra pillows). The AC worked well, the bed was comfy and small soaps, shampoos, etc. were provided. However, there was a strong smell of smoke and other substances in the public areas. The front desk was not staffed, and the front door and stairwell were not secured. I visited the restaurant an hour before close and the employees seemed very done with it all (which is fair, but not pleasant on my end). (The food was okay.) The inn is accessed via the construction company's driveway, which is in bad shape.

Really nice, just renovated motel. No real exciting amenities but we prefer a nice clean, functional place to stay for the value. Dinner on end of property nice as well. Stayed there while racing at Pitt Race. Room for race car trailer and tow rig.

Restaurant great food. Great manager. Stopped there from moving from apt. a mile away. Easy to get to Amtrack Pittsburgh with suitcases and other stuff!

The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the staff polite when there was one. The grounds are a mess due to construction in front. The lack of a refrigerator in the room or a coffee pot made it a little worse. The attached restaurant was lonely as I was the only customer on first day and when I went in on day 2 nobody was there, I called out twice and got no response so drove to the gas station for coffee. For the price it is what it is.

I've stayed in a lot of hotels. This is the first one that only offers coffee for breakfast. The toilet seat and the sink valve handle were loose. The bathtub drains poorly and soap starts to build everywhere.

Great place to stay if heading to Pittsburgh. Not too far out and the restaurant attached to the hotel was nice. Nice, cheap and clean and suited our needs for the NFL draft!

Ambridge Inn is walkable to nothing (middle of nowhere), with a gravel road entering it (tucked away from the road in some industrial area). The bathroom fan was as loud as you could imagine and the AC unit wasn't working. The tv was tiny as well. This place is about as basic as it gets. Only stay here if you want a low rate and just need a bed.
