Très beau 2 pièces cosy et calme climatisé ascenseur au cœur de la vieille ville

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la localisation de l’appartement dans la vieille ville, sur une rue piétonnière et à proximité de restaurants, de boutiques, d’épiceries, de pharmacie. L’appartement est confortable et la cuisine est bien équipée. L’appartement est propre. Nous n’avons pas réussi à utiliser le four pour réchauffer nos mets à emporter même après avoir lu à plusieurs reprises toutes les instructions du livre explicatif laissé dans un tiroir. Notre hôte ne savait pas non plus comment fonctionnait le four. Cela nous a déçu car nous avions loué pour 10 nuits et ne voulions pas aller au restaurants tous les soirs. Le divan lit où mon frère a dormi était confortable ainsi que le lit dans la grande chambre. L’appartement étant situé au 5 e étage, c’est très calme. Notez qu’il faut franchi plusieurs marches (+- 15) au premier palier avant d’arriver à l’ascenseur.

The picture online does not fully depict the building the apartment is in. Yes, it is in Old Nice, but the building itself is rundown. We had ants and the response from the owner was it is any season; there should be some cleaner underneath the sink in the bathroom to clean them up with. Not only was there no cleaner underneath the sink, we arrived all three of us for 10 days with only two rolls of toilet paper and the owner said once you run out it’s up to you to go and buy more. Toilet paper is a basic necessity and with three people for 10 days all of the amenities and the supplies that we need for a comfortable stay should be provided. In addition, 10 days with the same set of towels and sheets is not appropriate or hygienic.

Nathalie was very helpful with suggestions about where to go and what to eat. The apartment was outfitted with everything we could possibly need and its location was perfect. We were so close to public transportation and yet felt like we were immersed in a warren of charming streets filled with restaurants, shops and access to a grocery store, a fish market, butcher and boulangerie, We would absolutely stay here again.

Perfectly located, well-stocked with the necessities, and with incredible support and communication from Nathalie. We had a wonderful time in this charming apartment and can’t wait to come again!
