We visited this property for our 10 year anniversary. The staff were very friendly and helpful with recommendations for places to visit. The food was amazing. The beach is a little rocky and has a small access area. So not like some of the other beaches however the views are breathtaking. We would definitely stay here again!

Je n’ai pas utilisé le spa que j’ai trouvé assez cher. Je n’ai pas apprécié le fait que l’on ne puisse pas accéder aux installations sans mettre une somme folle dans un soin ou massage. Ils devraient donner l’accès au hammam etc…aux guets moyennant un petit supplément comme cela se fait ailleurs dans les hotels de même catégorie ! De ce côté là un peu déçue. La nourriture chère pour ce que c’est mais pas mauvaise. Le reste parfait. Très bon accueil et très beau cadre. Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits au lieu de 4.

Der Service ist so aufmerksam. Wir mussten einen Tag später anreisen, weil ich aufgrund von Krankheit nicht pünktlich reisen konnte und ich wurde mehrfach von mehreren Mitarbeiter/innen gefragt wie es mir geht und ob sie etwas für mich tun können. Jeder wusste sogar welches Zimmer wir haben. Es gibt 24/7 Room Service, der cleaning Service ist super lieb, die Zimmer sind toll und der Pool auch. Es ist wirklich alles so lieb und zuvorkommend. Das wirklich einzige ist, dass der Pool schon ziemlich kalt ist aber das mag ja auch Geschmacksache sein

The resort was absolutely stunning, amazing views and such a relaxing stay. Sunrise and Sunset were always perfect. The facilities were great and the staff were very welcoming at reception with a welcome drink. The room was reasonably clean and they changed the towels every day which was great, as well as provided both morning/evening cleaning. The cleaning wasn’t very thorough as I noticed in the toilet there were a lot of hairs behind the door/toilet that were easily wiped up with a tissue. The gym had great air con and open anytime of day. I thought that the massage treatments were very expensive at €90 for half an hour, it could have been more reasonable. The biggest let down was I felt the staff at the Buddha Bar were very rude unless you were spending a lot of money and the service was extremely slow. I also found it strange that even though you had already paid for the hotel, some beds (the ones in the water) were an additional €150 per day. We decided to go outside of the hotel for dinner to Hersonissos or Koutoulofari (old village on the hill) which were much more reasonably priced and only 20-30mins walk or 5 minutes taxi

Beautiful hotel with great facilities, super friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast a real highlight, one of the best buffet breakfasts we have experienced. Delightful not to experience any of the usual sunbed challenges around the pool. Super windy weather made shade quite difficult though as staff stopped us putting up umbrellas and the access to the beach/sea was quite difficult. Games room was a great asset but could do with some love & attention as wasn’t a place you wanted to dwell in. Would highly recommend Abaton.

We had a two week stay May2024 and I have to say, we had a fantastic stay. We arrived just before the beginning of the season and it was pretty dead to be honest which was really nice to spend the first few days to relax. We mainly stayed by the pool most days and was very well looked after by Claudia who is a real asset to the team. She’s relentless in making sure you are well looked after. My main frustration is the rule around the use of the sun mattresses (yes that’s not a typo) around the pool being €150 a day. That’s ridiculous and there were only 1 or 2 being used, mainly after a certain time in the afternoon when things start to wind down. Personally, this is the one thing that needs to change as that’s a silly price. The food and booze is excellent although on the expensive side, you do get what you pay for so make sure if you don’t have all inclusive, you bring some cash. Everything else was brilliant, all of the team at the front desk and buffet breakfast should get a massive shout out. If we ever had an issue, it was sorted pretty much immediately. The hotel is situated 10 minute walk from the main town and you will find some brilliant local tavernas around there to complement your stay. Enjoy!!

It’s a nice enough resort and property. But very overpriced for what you get. I don’t see this Iine as a 5 star hotel. The linens and beds were great. The gym very nice. I found the rooms to be tacky for my taste. I would not stay here again especially for the price. I got a two story room. The service was great. The staff friendly and helpful. But when I think 5 star and this price I think four seasons and other type brands. And this is not there. Not even close.

It was a fantastic experience. The reason for the lower markings on some areas are: Our reservation was for 3 people (2 adults, 1 child) and we were only provided with accommodations for 2 (towels, bedding). We had a Loft, with a pullout couch for the child. The pullout did not have bedding (pillow, sheets, blanket). I called the reception multiple times (4) to have them send some to our room, and they were not delivered until late in the evening, after the 4th call. For the towels, I had to call reception at least once per day for the first 3 days, to have an extra towel provided so we all had a towel for showering. Cleanliness, overall we were very satisfied with the cleanliness of the room, however, one of the decorative throw pillows was very badly stained (looked like it could possibly be blood), we left it out and visible for housekeeping to replace it, but every time we returned, the pillow was still there with the stained side turned over so it was not visible again. There were also 2 occasions when the clean towels provided were stained, or not cleaned. They had brown colored stains and marks on them in some areas, which weren’t noticeable until the towel was unfolded. Overall the stay was very pleasant. It is a beautiful resort with much to offer. The staff were very friendly, and seemed to go above and beyond to provide an overall great experience. They even allowed us to check in 1 hour earlier.

Abaton is a stunningly beautiful hotel. The restaurants offer a great selection of food and drink with something for everyone. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The Buddha bar and the housekeeping staff were excellent. Our Thalasso sea view room was spacious and exceptionally clean, with housekeeping attending twice a day. The hotel, gardens and beaches are very well manicured and maintained. The hotel is on the outskirts of town so it’s a thirty minute walk into the main town or a taxi ride. We had a wonderful relaxing time and wouldn’t hesitate in going back again.

We had an amazing four days, the property is beautiful the staff are very sweet and helpful, the food is really good had so many varieties in the buffet. Our room had a problem with the AC and the staff offered a new upgraded room. On the other hand we didn’t feel like our rooms were properly cleaned during our stay. We had a half board in our reservation although we had to pay for water during dinner which felt weird. Other than that it was a perfect holiday

Our room had a problem with the AC and the staff offered a new upgraded room. On the other hand we didn’t feel like our rooms were properly cleaned during our stay. We had a half board in our reservation although we had to pay for water during dinner which felt weird. Other than that it was a perfect holiday

Wir waren nun bereits zum 4x hier und sind wieder überwältigt von der Schönheit des Hotels, der sehr gepflegten Anlage und dem perfekten Urlaub für uns. Die schöne Hotelanlage, das Luxury Seafront Guest Zimmer mit Privat Pool, das Bony Fish Restaurant - unser Lieblingsrestaurant und das Langschläferfrühstück im Elemes Cretan Restaurant haben wir sehr genossen. Das Essen, die Sauberkeit, der Strand, alles, alles superschön und nur zu empfehlen!!! Schon beim Betreten fühlt man das herrlich schöne Gefühl von Urlaub. Die Rezeption empfing uns wieder sehr herzlich, war immer gut besetzt, für alle Fragen und Belange hatten alle immer ein offenes und sehr zuvorkommend Ohr. Es hat auch im Vergleich mit den Jahren zuvor nichts am hohem Standard, am Luxus, der Sauberkeit, des tollen Erlebnisses hier Gast sein zu dürfen, verloren!!! Unser Fazit ist wir kommen definitiv gerne wieder!

My stay at this resort was memorable. From the moment we arrived the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Their attentiveness and hospitality made our trip easy and seamless. The property was always kept clean. The architecture of this resort felt elegant, you can tell it was carefully designed. The breakfast buffet had a variety of options, and the convenience of being able to book cabs and excursions directly through the hotel made things stress free. The resort had a peaceful ambiance. Even in busier areas it felt calm, I felt relaxed during my whole stay. On our final day, my partner and I enjoyed a couples spa massage treatment it was worth every penny. The right way to end our trip. I genuinely loved everything about this resort and will definitely return. Highly recommend.

The staff, especially the managers are very rude. When asking them questions, they act like they don’t want to talk to you. We booked half board and no one knows what is going on with it so it causes lots of arguments and tension between the guests and staff. Me and my husband stayed in a room and they only left one towel. They also left bin bags in my room. For the price , I was expecting a 5 star experience and it was far from that.

Das Abaton Resort & Spa ist wirklich eine Reise Wert. Wir nutzen ein paar Tage "Auszeit", nach 2,5 Jahren Urlaubs Abstinenz. Babymoon&Weddingmoon zugleich. 5 Tage endlich wieder mit einem Meeresrauschen aufwachen. Traumhaft. Das Resort ist super gepflegt & sauber. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle äußerst zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Frühstücks-und Abendbuffet ist abwechslungsreich und sehr lecker. Wenn man aber doch mal Lust auf einen a la Carte Abend hat, hat man genug Alternativen in den Hauseigenen Restaurants. Am Anreiseabend waren wir im Wow Steakhaus und am letzten Abend im Griechischen Restaurant Elemes. Es war einfach wunderbar. Optisch wahnsinnig ansprechend & geschmacklich wirklich fantastisch. Einen kleinen Kritik Punkt habe ich wegen der Musik aus der Buddha Bar. Leider hatten wir unser Zimmer in der Nähe und der Bass war bis in die Nacht nicht zu überhören, wenn man wirklich einfach nur "chillen" & seine Ruhe haben will ist dies ein leichter Stör Faktor. Auch wenn die Nachbarn meinen ihre eigene Party feiern zu müssen ist das leider nicht so angenehm. Nachdem diesbezüglich aber am FO bescheid gesagt wurde, waren die Nachbarn etwas ruhiger und man konnte den Abreisetag noch lange am Pool genießen ohne störende Musik. Für uns war es ein wahnsinnig schöner kurzer "Urlaub" auf Kreta. Nun freuen wir uns auf die baldige Zeit zu dritt und können Freude strahlend auf die Zeit im Abaton zurück blicken. Vielen lieben Dank

Amazing, luxury hotel with amazing views surrounding the whole hotel. We went towards the end of September so it was quieter and the weather was still great. Food at all the restaurants, including the breakfast and dinner buffet was amazing, some of the best we’ve had whilst away. Food at the restaurants can take a while to come, but it is because the food is freshly made and you can taste the difference. The only downside and why I gave 4 star instead of 5 star is because of the lack of accessible free drinking water on the hotel. To me this is a basic human need especially whilst in the sun and should not be used to make money. On the hotel site it’s self you can drink small bottles of water in mini bar which are €3.50 each, or in the hotel shop there were only a few small bottles for €0.90. Please just make it easier for people to drink water. We walked to the supermarket a 5 minute walk away every day to buy big bottles of water. We stayed in the luxury private pool seafront room which was incredible, waking up everyday to sit on our terrace with views of the beautiful beach and have our own pool overlooking it was very special. The beach was lovely, there is a small bit right in front of our room near the Elemis restaurant that is sandy and you can swim in.

Spent 4 nights here with my wife as part of our Honeymoon in Greece. It was absolutely splendid. Such a peaceful, wonderful resort with great amenities. The pool side is absolutely breathtaking and so relaxing. There is a great pool bar nearby and the servers bring you drink and food in very timely fashion. I had originally a sea view only room and they upgraded us to a shared plunge pool room for free. This was an awesome upgrade. We used the plunge pool a bunch and its basically your own private pool. The room is super comfortable. Don't mind the key-powered room because once you get and put your card in then turn on the AC, massive vents cool the room in minutes. The breakfast buffet was always excellent with so many tasty options sure to please anyone. We ate at the Cretan restaurant they have there and it was so romantic. The food was extraordinary and among the best we had had on Crete. There are a lot of awesome picture and video taking opportunities on the resort too. Sure to make your friends and family jealous. Some cool local beaches nearby with great views and clear waters - just ask the staff there and they will tell you the options. Only 30 min from the Heraklion airport - no need to deal with the huge journey to Chania if you are not so inclined to go there, can have just as much of a great time at Abaton. Highly recommend! We will be coming back!

Abaton is a stunningly beautiful hotel. The restaurants offer a great selection of food and drink with something for everyone. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The Buddha bar and the housekeeping staff were excellent. Our Thalasso sea view room was spacious and exceptionally clean, with housekeeping attending twice a day. The hotel, gardens and beaches are very well manicured and maintained. The hotel is on the outskirts of town so it’s a thirty minute walk into the main town or a taxi ride. We had a wonderful relaxing time and wouldn’t hesitate in going back again.

Very large property. Chic resort, with an “all inclusive” resort feel. Definitely not intimate, if you are looking for that feel. Nice beach inclusions along the property. The food was very average and higher price point. Our service and food at Buddha Bar, which has a lovely view, was not good and no awareness to the food not eaten. The room had an awkward layout, open concept, with the shower separate and right at the door. Our suite had ants all over the bar area and outdoors sitting space. The rooms are temperature controlled by the door being opened and closed - hard to regulate. Very warm and then too cold.

Sehr schönes, luxuriöses Hotel. Einzig das WLAN ist außerhalb vom Zimmer (in der Anlage und auch auf der Terrasse) schlecht. Am Abreisetag wurde noch vor Checkout-Time gedrängelt, dass das Zimmer verlassen werden muss.

The structure is wonderful, I chose it because when I go on vacation I love tranquility and this hotel is truly a corner of paradise with a view of the Aegean, the numerous terraced views from bars and restaurants, the very kind and attentive staff. I witnessed spectacular sunrises and sunsets during my stay. I chose a luxury room with private pool and garden facing the sea. The only drawback unfortunately the pool was very cold for my habits, so I didn't have the pleasure of swimming. I recommend this property to all those who love a refined environment, convenient location to reach Hersonissos, Stalyda, Malìa and Agios Nikolaos, Preveli beach. Heraklion airport is less than half an hour from the Abaton. Absolutely recommendable

It’s a nice enough resort and property. But very overpriced for what you get. I don’t see this Iine as a 5 star hotel. The linens and beds were great. The gym very nice. I found the rooms to be tacky for my taste. I would not stay here again especially for the price. I got a two story room. The service was great. The staff friendly and helpful. But when I think 5 star and this price I think four seasons and other type brands. And this is not there. Not even close.

The Abaton experience was fabulous from the moment of arrival right through to check out. The staff are attentive and always keen to help (shout out to Xenia at the front desk expecially). Our beachfront loft was amazing. We will be back.

It was a fantastic experience. The reason for the lower markings on some areas are: Our reservation was for 3 people (2 adults, 1 child) and we were only provided with accommodations for 2 (towels, bedding). We had a Loft, with a pullout couch for the child. The pullout did not have bedding (pillow, sheets, blanket). I called the reception multiple times (4) to have them send some to our room, and they were not delivered until late in the evening, after the 4th call. For the towels, I had to call reception at least once per day for the first 3 days, to have an extra towel provided so we all had a towel for showering. Cleanliness, overall we were very satisfied with the cleanliness of the room, however, one of the decorative throw pillows was very badly stained (looked like it could possibly be blood), we left it out and visible for housekeeping to replace it, but every time we returned, the pillow was still there with the stained side turned over so it was not visible again. There were also 2 occasions when the clean towels provided were stained, or not cleaned. They had brown colored stains and marks on them in some areas, which weren’t noticeable until the towel was unfolded. Overall the stay was very pleasant. It is a beautiful resort with much to offer. The staff were very friendly, and seemed to go above and beyond to provide an overall great experience. They even allowed us to check in 1 hour earlier.

Wir waren für 9 Nächte im Abaton, haben bei Anreise ein kostenloses Upgrade erhalten, das uns sehr gefreut hat. Insgesamt eine tolle Anlage, allerdings passen die Preise in den Restaurants nicht zur Serviceleistung. Sehr langsam, teilweise sehr unsicher, vergesslich... das passt nicht zu einem 5 Sterne Hotel. Auch der Service am Pool / Strand müsste aufmerksamer sein. Die Musik in der Strandbar ist den ganzen Tag über sehr laut und überall zu hören, das nervt mit der Zeit. Im eigentlich sehr netten kretischen Restaurant auf dem Gelände wurden wir von einer Livemusikerin "beschallt" und gleichzeitig hörte man noch die Bässe von der Bar. Ein romatischer Abend sieht anders aus... Das ist vielleicht "meckern" auf hohem Niveau, bei den Preisen, die aufgerufen werden, muss der Service allerdings auch perfekt sein finde ich. Die Preise für Getränke sind allgemein zu teuer.

I had originally a sea view only room and they upgraded us to a shared plunge pool room for free. This was an awesome upgrade. We used the plunge pool a bunch and its basically your own private pool. The room is super comfortable. Don't mind the key-powered room because once you get and put your card in then turn on the AC, massive vents cool the room in minutes. The breakfast buffet was always excellent with so many tasty options sure to please anyone. We ate at the Cretan restaurant they have there and it was so romantic. The food was extraordinary and among the best we had had on Crete. There are a lot of awesome picture and video taking opportunities on the resort too. Sure to make your friends and family jealous. Some cool local beaches nearby with great views and clear waters - just ask the staff there and they will tell you the options. Only 30 min from the Heraklion airport - no need to deal with the huge journey to Chania if you are not so inclined to go there, can have just as much of a great time at Abaton. Highly recommend! We will be coming back!

The resort was absolutely stunning, amazing views and such a relaxing stay. Sunrise and Sunset were always perfect. The facilities were great and the staff were very welcoming at reception with a welcome drink. The room was reasonably clean and they changed the towels every day which was great, as well as provided both morning/evening cleaning. The cleaning wasn’t very thorough as I noticed in the toilet there were a lot of hairs behind the door/toilet that were easily wiped up with a tissue. The gym had great air con and open anytime of day. I thought that the massage treatments were very expensive at €90 for half an hour, it could have been more reasonable. The biggest let down was I felt the staff at the Buddha Bar were very rude unless you were spending a lot of money and the service was extremely slow. I also found it strange that even though you had already paid for the hotel, some beds (the ones in the water) were an additional €150 per day. We decided to go outside of the hotel for dinner to Hersonissos or Koutoulofari (old village on the hill) which were much more reasonably priced and only 20-30mins walk or 5 minutes taxi

We had an amazing four days, the property is beautiful the staff are very sweet and helpful, the food is really good had so many varieties in the buffet. Our room had a problem with the AC and the staff offered a new upgraded room. On the other hand we didn’t feel like our rooms were properly cleaned during our stay. We had a half board in our reservation although we had to pay for water during dinner which felt weird. Other than that it was a perfect holiday

The staff, especially the managers are very rude. When asking them questions, they act like they don’t want to talk to you. We booked half board and no one knows what is going on with it so it causes lots of arguments and tension between the guests and staff. Me and my husband stayed in a room and they only left one towel. They also left bin bags in my room. For the price , I was expecting a 5 star experience and it was far from that.

We visited this property for our 10 year anniversary. The staff were very friendly and helpful with recommendations for places to visit. The food was amazing. The beach is a little rocky and has a small access area. So not like some of the other beaches however the views are breathtaking. We would definitely stay here again!

Wir waren für 1 Woche Gäste im Abaton. Sehr schöne und gepflegte grosse Anlage mit diversen Restaurants und Bars. Personal immer sehr Freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Hotel Anlage ist nähe Chersonissos, das mit dem Taxi für Euro 10 sehr gut erreichbar ist. In der Nähe gibt sehr viele schöne und Gute Restaurants die man unbedingt mal besuchen sollte.

If you want a 5 star top notch resort away from the bigger city tourist trap, don't think twice and book this hotel. You will not regret your decision. The food is excellent and on par or slightly lower than you would pay in Los Angeles or other large cities. There is a small town Stalis 1.6km or 1 mile away with great bars and restaurants all along the beach with little shops, and markets, which offer a nice change of scenery and break up the routine from the resort a bit to go grab a local greek dinner. The resort staff is very friendly grom check-in to the beach team to the restaurants. This area of Crete is best for folks wanting to relax and stay close to the resort in my opinion as the other main attractions in form of the famous southern island beaches are over 3.5 hours away and the next bigger city Chania is also about 2.5 hours away. For people wanting to go to those cities and places a hotel closer to those spots is better. However, the Abaton is modern and a rare find and in a class of its own and truly makes for a nice relaxing vacation with its own small sand beach, with plenty of sunchairs, the lively Buddah beach bar and huge pool that easily accommodates the people at the hotel with grrat music and the backdrop of ocean waves and wave sounds. Super happy with the hotel and worth every penny. Great and many different room size and layout choices. Book it !!!!

Spent 4 nights here with my wife as part of our Honeymoon in Greece. It was absolutely splendid. Such a peaceful, wonderful resort with great amenities. The pool side is absolutely breathtaking and so relaxing. There is a great pool bar nearby and the servers bring you drink and food in very timely fashion. Abaton is a stunningly beautiful hotel. The restaurants offer a great selection of food and drink with something for everyone. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The Buddha bar and the housekeeping staff were excellent. Our Thalasso sea view room was spacious and exceptionally clean, with housekeeping attending twice a day. The hotel, gardens and beaches are very well manicured and maintained. The hotel is on the outskirts of town so it’s a thirty minute walk into the main town or a taxi ride. We had a wonderful relaxing time and wouldn’t hesitate in going back again.

It was my first trip to Greece and I can’t fault it at all. The views were stunning no matter where you were on the resort. Whether it’s a chill out day, spa day or activities, it’s a one stop shop. Also, walking distance from the city so extremely convenient. All staff were incredibly helpful, you were always met with a smile, and no question was too much. Overall, a perfect stay and I’d definitely go back.

Beautiful hotel with great facilities, super friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast a real highlight, one of the best buffet breakfasts we have experienced. Delightful not to experience any of the usual sunbed challenges around the pool. Super windy weather made shade quite difficult though as staff stopped us putting up umbrellas and the access to the beach/sea was quite difficult. Games room was a great asset but could do with some love & attention as wasn’t a place you wanted to dwell in. Would highly recommend Abaton.

The structure is wonderful, I chose it because when I go on vacation I love tranquility and this hotel is truly a corner of paradise with a view of the Aegean, the numerous terraced views from bars and restaurants, the very kind and attentive staff. I witnessed spectacular sunrises and sunsets during my stay. I chose a luxury room with private pool and garden facing the sea. The only drawback unfortunately the pool was very cold for my habits, so I didn't have the pleasure of swimming. I recommend this property to all those who love a refined environment, convenient location to reach Hersonissos, Stalyda, Malìa and Agios Nikolaos, Preveli beach. Heraklion airport is less than half an hour from the Abaton. Absolutely recommendable

My second time visiting in less than a year! Absolutely love this hotel. The service is incomparable and the food is exquisite. Our favourite options were the traditional Cretan restaurant Elemes and the Seafood restaurant Bony Fish. The service and the cuisine were star-worthy in both. My advice? Take the staffs recommendations on dishes of the day. Lots to do in the hotel's complex such as shopping ( I spent too much money here!) and snorkelling in the sea. The spa stocks brands like Davines which thoroughly impressed me as it is a sustainable B-corp brand that I love. The most incredible sunrise and sunset views! Already dreaming of our next visit. My only minor comment is that I would have appreciated a later check out option. Currently late check out is only available until 12pm and I would have preferred to be able to spend a few extra hours in the room by our pool rather than waiting to leave.

Amazing, luxury hotel with amazing views surrounding the whole hotel. We went towards the end of September so it was quieter and the weather was still great. Food at all the restaurants, including the breakfast and dinner buffet was amazing, some of the best we’ve had whilst away. Food at the restaurants can take a while to come, but it is because the food is freshly made and you can taste the difference. The only downside and why I gave 4 star instead of 5 star is because of the lack of accessible free drinking water on the hotel. To me this is a basic human need especially whilst in the sun and should not be used to make money. On the hotel site it’s self you can drink small bottles of water in mini bar which are €3.50 each, or in the hotel shop there were only a few small bottles for €0.90. Please just make it easier for people to drink water. We walked to the supermarket a 5 minute walk away every day to buy big bottles of water. We stayed in the luxury private pool seafront room which was incredible, waking up everyday to sit on our terrace with views of the beautiful beach and have our own pool overlooking it was very special. The beach was lovely, there is a small bit right in front of our room near the Elemis restaurant that is sandy and you can swim in.

Very large property. Chic resort, with an “all inclusive” resort feel. Definitely not intimate, if you are looking for that feel. Nice beach inclusions along the property. The food was very average and higher price point. Our service and food at Buddha Bar, which has a lovely view, was not good and no awareness to the food not eaten. The room had an awkward layout, open concept, with the shower separate and right at the door. Our suite had ants all over the bar area and outdoors sitting space. The rooms are temperature controlled by the door being opened and closed - hard to regulate. Very warm and then too cold.

The food was very average and higher price point. Our service and food at Buddha Bar, which has a lovely view, was not good and no awareness to the food not eaten. The room had an awkward layout, open concept, with the shower separate and right at the door. Our suite had ants all over the bar area and outdoors sitting space. The rooms are temperature controlled by the door being opened and closed - hard to regulate. Very warm and then too cold.

We had an amazing four days, the property is beautiful the staff are very sweet and helpful, the food is really good had so many varieties in the buffet. Our room had a problem with the AC and the staff offered a new upgraded room. On the other hand we didn’t feel like our rooms were properly cleaned during our stay. We had a half board in our reservation although we had to pay for water during dinner which felt weird. Other than that it was a perfect holiday

Het was een heel fijn verblijf, de kamer was super netjes. Iedere avond kwam het personeel een flesje water brengen. Je kunt roomservice heel de dag bestellen, van de roomservice was niet altijd alles lekker. Het ontbijt bij het hotel is heel lekker, er is genoeg keuze en het uitzicht waar je eet is heel mooi! Verder is het een rustig hotel, ook bij het zwembad is er altijd nog plek, ook nog in de middag. Ik heb het heel goed ervaren het hotel!

Beautiful hotel with great facilities, super friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast a real highlight, one of the best buffet breakfasts we have experienced. Delightful not to experience any of the usual sunbed challenges around the pool. Super windy weather made shade quite difficult though as staff stopped us putting up umbrellas and the access to the beach/sea was quite difficult. Games room was a great asset but could do with some love & attention as wasn’t a place you wanted to dwell in. Would highly recommend Abaton.

Great views, nice room, snorkelling spots easy to get to. Got upgraded to a room with a mezannine. Drinks are pricey almost €20, local supermarket super expensive too. But all in all really wonderful stay.

The hotel is of a very high standard. The staff is lovely and always ready to help with anything. The food is very tasty. The view from the rooms is simply amazing. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great—albeit somewhat expensive—vacation.

So luxurious, loved the two floor suites with pool and ocean view. Although large it never felt too busy at anytime . Tried all the restaurants. The staff there excelled. My favorite was Claudia. She made our dinner at Buddha bar so special, her attention to detail, we had some food allergies, went beyond good service and went to great! We both said we could come back next year and bring some friends.
