Overall very good, however the parking area was very confusing. Poor signage directions to the hotel had us wandering through the lot. Also there was no clock in our room. When we reported the fact to the desk clerk he said we would have one later that day, however we never received it.

Overall it was a nice place and we had a good stay. Everyone was friendly. The gym was nice but the air was broken so it was super hot in there. It was so humid in there, the floor was slippery so you had to walk very carefully. Huge complaint about the breakfast buffet. It’s not complimentary and definitely didn’t look worth $18 per person. There wasn’t a single person dining there and that’s probably why. The food looked like it had been sitting for hours. Not a lot of food options. Just not at all worth $18 per person. I think it’s insane to not offer complimentary breakfast at this nice hotel.

It was my birthday weekend. My husband wanted a view of the city for me. The AC Marriott did not disappoint. Clean room, comfy beds, eco friendly, very clean hallways, great rooftop bar and amazing staff. Cons: no in room microwave. Common microwave in the hallway on each floor. This was inconvenient and at times food residue. The coffee pot in room had old stale water in it. So I could not have hot tea nor water. Self parking leaves a bit to be desired. If you want breakfast it’s an additional 18 per person. And the selection could be better.

Excellent hotel. Very clean. Modern. Parking is daunting unless you use valet. There is convenient on site parking but once in the garage it’s very confusing on how to get out and into your hotel.

Love that you need a keycard to use elevator. 22 floor bar was way too loud. Housekeeping also didn’t clean room anytime in the two nights I was there.

The service here was horrible I felt like I check in a shelter with my children. The bathroom had no shower gel as the bottle was left empty and weren’t refilled by house keeping, the toilet took two flushes before flushing and the sink drained slowly. On day two I asked for more towels and after three calls none was received, my room was not cleaned by housekeeping. There were some guys in the elevator smoking weed. My worst hotel stay ever!!

When we arrived we were told they didn’t have any junior suites ready despite it being 3:30 30 min past check-in time listed we spoke with on site manager and we were given hotel credit and comp. Parking. Once we arrived to the room it smelled like chemicals and a mildewed mop, the bed was broken, the cushions on the balcony were completely covered in mold and mildew!!! We called down to address this! When they arrived they had to completely flip the bed and found that the bed was even more damaged than we thought! It took them about an hour to fix. And regarding the mold and mildew they said there was nothing they could do and that they had a cleaning company that cleans them but that apparently hasn’t been done any time recently! They were also visibly old and misshaped! This is not what you expect when you pay close to $400 for one night! I usually don’t write reviews in fact this is my first one but this was our anniversary and we were extremely disappointed!!

When I arrived to my room, A/C Unit was doing a terrible noise like “mosquito”. I went downstairs and a very nice lady offered me a different room and she apologized for the inconvenient. Cleanliness is where this property needs to focus on, they don’t offer housekeeping service daily, unless you have 3+ nights, i had my trash cans with trash and needed fresh towels. Also mattress has stains on it.

Nice hotel. Cleaning needs improvement. The floors were not cleaned well. The toilet smelled like it was not cleaned. I always bring my own Lysol and disinfecting wipes. Great location if you’re seeing a show at Spectrum Center. It was directly across the street.

I know that the AC hotel has a wonderful rating, but the cleanliness level was disappointing. I had to change rooms, but the staff handled it without any issues and were quite accommodating.

We waited 45min for the room to be "cleaned". Finally get to the room and the bathroom floor was filthy and dead bugs on the balcony. Wouldn't make a big deal about that except, we were told they were cleaning the balcony and that's what was taking so long. With all that being said, the hospitality of the check- in crew was top notch. However, we won't stay again and I won't recommend.

Service was great but our room was awful. We expected noise because of the location but one of the mattresses had a very large pee stain. The bathroom door was a sliding door and when closed there was what looked to be red wine splattered on the ground and wall. The hand towel in the bathroom on the sink was folded and when I picked it up to dry my hands the bottom was very dirty. The breakfast cost $15 per person and the food was cold, bread was very hard, there were only a few options and overall it was not good. We ended up paying the $15 and leaving to go get breakfast somewhere else, even the individual working recommended a breakfast place instead of staying to eat at the hotel, guess we should’ve listened before getting anything.

The check in lines was utter insanity. For a 5 star hotel, you were not prepared.

The room was quite small and there is no room service. The amenities are quite limited, and the balcony is not at all private or like they are shown in the images on the site. The room next to ours had people on the balcony all night and they were quite loud.

I was surprised by this hotel. The rooftop lounge is amazing. I didn’t realize that there was no continental breakfast and that you had to pay to park. The breakfast was 17.00 but the options were not worth that so we went to the diner that was within walking distance. There was a noise that I couldn’t figure out where it was coming from but it would wake me through the night. During checkout the patrons in the next room complained of a noise as well and indicated it was their fridge. Overall the stay was great and I would visit this hotel again.

The room overall was nice and of course she got to love the views but, what was advertised as a single King room was definitely a queen. Regardless of what was told to me, I have a king bed in my home, and the bed in my room definitely was not that. Overall I really enjoyed my stay and will probably be back there when I'm next in Charlotte. By the way my room was not serviced but this may be a new trend of service only when requested

Low water pressure. Noises all night, which we thought were people breaking in. Turns out it was the mini-fridge and bathroom sliding door, which was off it’s track and moving. Coffee maker, bathroom mirror, and some lamps were new but not plugged in. I felt like I had to unpackaged my room.

The stay was great. Plenty of food options inside the hotel and around it too, which is important to me lol. Staff was friendly and quick to help via phone call, in person, and via Bonvoy app.

Check in was a nightmare & no valet (which wasn’t a big deal but it should have been a telltale sign). Had to wait almost an hour in line because key makers weren’t working, and it was a concert day so there were 100 people trying to check in at the same time. No online check ins were working. Also- part of the reason I booked this hotel to use the upstairs rooftop restaurant and they never sent a notice to any guests that it would be closed for a private event, didn’t know until we checked in and were told by the receptionist. It was a wedding so they knew way ahead of tim. The room was fine though, I just don’t recommend this hotel if there is a popular event in town, they can’t handle the influx of people.

Was given room on the 6th floor with a horrid view of the hotel’s HVAC unit and dirty roof top and wall. My husband took a photo and went down to the front desk to show them and asked to be moved due to this. The front desk staff said there were no other rooms available and they would all had that view because we were an “odd number room.” I called the front desk to ask if we could get a different room when available but she said I complained too much and told me she could help me check out if the view was an issue. I spoke with the manager after who moved us to a better room. When my husband and I went down to the front desk to get our new keys, the same employees were smirking and rolling their eyes, one employee was on the phone and said “we’re very busy right now moving these people’s room.” The manager was no issue but the two front desk employees were extremely rude and unprofessional. Chose your hotel for my husband’s birthday getaway and was disappointed in the entire check-in process.

I had a wonderful stay at AC Hotel Charlotte. Valet and check in were effortless and kind. Joshua-Valet was very nice and gave me directions. 10/10

We enjoy staying here for events at the Spectrum center and for the convenience. The staff at this hotel is all round the best and friendliest ever. We appreciate the great customer service.

This AC Hotel was very very nice. Cool, comfortable, quiet and accessible to many locations. The staff I interacted with were especially helpful - including Queenie at the front desk and Isabella in the breakfast area. I will definitely book here in the future.

This was without a doubt our favorite hotel that we’ve ever stayed in! You guys made our anniversary so special! Check in was amazing! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

The property is beautiful and in the heart of uptown Charlotte. It is located within walking distance to all major events, shopping, and restaurants. Very clean with plenty of space. The rooftop bar is amazing as well. It's nice to be able to park and just walk to all the attractions.

Had a great time at this hotel. It was walking distance to pretty much everything. The staff was very friendly. You must go up to the rooftop bar on the 22nd floor. The views were amazing!!!

Overall it was a nice place and we had a good stay. Everyone was friendly. The gym was nice but the air was broken so it was super hot in there. It was so humid in there, the floor was slippery so you had to walk very carefully. Huge complaint about the breakfast buffet. It’s not complimentary and definitely didn’t look worth $18 per person. There wasn’t a single person dining there and that’s probably why. The food looked like it had been sitting for hours. Not a lot of food options. Just not at all worth $18 per person. I think it’s insane to not offer complimentary breakfast at this nice hotel.

Clean, nice customer service despite it being really busy. The breakfast buffet was basic and the rooftop bar is nice. Bed was comfortable. Shower was nice, but poor water pressure on the 12th floor. The toilet bowl design is really odd. It’s a square, so it’s uncomfortable and smaller framed people feel like you’re going to fall in! I didn’t appreciate the restaurant charging 20% automatically on all tabs, no matter how many people are in your party. Parking is $32 in addition to the room charge. Overall, an expensive night.

The view was excellent, the staff was great! The only reason I gave 3 stars overall is because the roof top bar and lounge were closed and that was one of the reasons for us picking this hotel. Had I known it was going to be closed, I would've picked another hotel. That being said, I like this hotel and will most likely use it again in the near future.

Stayed here with my girlfriend for the Fourth of July. Great rooftop bar with views overlooking downtown. A little pricey for cocktails but to be expected for a nice bar. A short walk downtown will get you to a lot of good restaurants and bars. Very clean and friendly staff.

Service was great but our room was awful. We expected noise because of the location but one of the mattresses had a very large pee stain. The bathroom door was a sliding door and when closed there was what looked to be red wine splattered on the ground and wall. The hand towel in the bathroom on the sink was folded and when I picked it up to dry my hands the bottom was very dirty. The breakfast cost $15 per person and the food was cold, bread was very hard, there were only a few options and overall it was not good. We ended up paying the $15 and leaving to go get breakfast somewhere else, even the individual working recommended a breakfast place instead of staying to eat at the hotel, guess we should’ve listened before getting anything.

There was nothing that my daughter could eat so the staff was nice enough to not charge us for her but $17 a person was really disgraceful for what was provided.

Lovely stay! Right across the street from the Spectrum Center for our concert! Room was very clean, front desk attendants were lovely - the super long line for the elevator after the show was intimidating, but moved much quicker than we expected! I will stay here again :)

Hallway on 9th floor to our room at 3:00pm was filthy. Carpet looked like had not been vacuumed. 2:00am dog next door would not stop barking. Staff would not answer phone. Breakfast is extremely overpriced for what you get. Have been in much nicer Mariotts and had free Breakfast that was much nicer.

This hotel asked me and my wife to wait for 1.5 hrs for a system audit to complete since they could not check us in until it was complete. Who does that to a customer at 1:30am in the morning? Yes, they did.
