Ottantotto Firenze was in a serene location with a beautiful garden and European feel, with a room that provided a nice retreat. It was an easy and walkable distance from the Arno and the sites of Florence. The staff was kind and helpful and prepared a beautiful breakfast daily. I hope to go back one day!

This is a unique and quirky hotel. We’re made to feel very welcome. Excellent honesty bar area with free tea and coffee and fruit. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms are decorated in an individual stylish way. A wonderful garden is available to have breakfast or sit in the evening. All in all a great treat to stay at One small issue was that one room upon initial entry had a sewerage smell which went when the windows were opened.

I really like the interior design of the whole house. It is a bit of walk from the main station but it is easy to find and located in convenient place to sightsee Firenze. I also like the fact that they have ice cubes, water, and coffee free of charge in the kitchen. The garden we had a breakfast at has a good atmosphere. The owner is easy to get in touch on whatsapp and very helpful.

Vilket underbart hotell! Rekommenderar alla att bo här. Vi hade rum 2 med en fantastisk utsikt över hotellets lilla trädgård. Frukosten var nylagad varje morgon med allt man kunde önska sig. Sån trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Tack för en jättefin vistelse!

Enchanting and tranquil. Highly recommend. Beautifully appointed property with all of the touches to make you feel comfortable. To top it off a delicious breakfast served in a romantic courtyard. What a gem!

Hotellet är helt fantastisk. Det har en romantisk miljö, en vacker trädgård och mysiga rum. Dessutom är läget väldigt trevligt, det är nära till turistattraktioner men ett lugnt läge med många restauranger i närheten. Kommer definitivt att vilja bo på detta hotell igen.

My wife and I loved our stay at Ottantotto in early October. The room (#5) was typical european-sized, but nicely updated. It was spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable. Water pressure and the hot water supply were abundant, although we had to run the hot water for quite a while before we received any hot water if nobody in the hotel had used the hot water supply in a while. Each morning's breakfast selection was fresh and tasty. The hotel staff were exceptionally nice and helpful throughout our stay, and went above and beyond the call of duty to help us with a problem after we left the hotel! The hotel is conveniently located, and an easy walk across the Arno river into the old town and most of the sites you will visit while there. However, it is far enough away to be peaceful and quiet at night. Many choices are availble for dining in the area. If you are packing light and plan to do laundry while traveling, there is a 24 hour laundry located directly across the street from the hotel. Be advised that you'll need euros, since the credit card slot was inoperable. We'll be staying at this hotel again when we return to Florence!

This was a nice property for the price. The rooms are super small, it felt like a big house with just a bunch of rooms. You open the door and take one step and it is the bed. There is also some kind of air diffuser that smelled awful. The bathroom was very nice. Overall the place was very clean. The only interaction with staff I had was when I asked the guy preparing breakfast how to check out (instructions weren’t clear). He said checkout is at 8AM, so be aware if you’re traveling out early. He let us leave our key in the room though.

At check in, Eduardo was super welcoming and accommodating. He made us feel at ease in a foreign country. The housekeeper was a doll. She approached us about our room to let us know it was ready and was so sweet. We had a great conversation with her about her background and her love of Italy. The place itself was impeccable. They thought of everything. The room we had was clean and gorgeous. If this could be my home I would definitely live here!

Beautiful property, with lovely touches throughout the rooms and general areas. Beds are super comfortable and the shower is excellent. Location is also great, with many excellent restaurants close by and everything you'd want is walkable.

Gorgeous hotel and room, great breakfast. Ideal location within walking distance of most landmarks and sites. Only problem was our room (Room 1) was right next to the front entrance and on the street level, meaning it was extremely noisy and we didn't sleep at all. Really there shouldn't be a room there as I'm not sure how any one could sleep with the constant sound of cars and motorbikes and passerby. Had to get up out of bed in the middle of the night to ask guests convening in the hallway to please move along. Walls are so thin! It would be better used as a second communal space.

Beautiful hotel and location, slightly removed from crowds but close enough walk to most things as long as your happy to walk 20minutes. This was ideal for us. The design of room itself was adorable, and breakfast was simple but well done. Cant wait to return to stay here.

We had such a wonderful stay here. A gorgeous boutique hotel in a great location, easy to walk to all the main attractions. The staff are absolutely lovely and very helpful. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and had a great variety. The best part is the style of the hotel, it is absolutely gorgeous and mixes traditional upmarket Florence with homey. As lovely as the photos we saw online. The staff was so friendly and our room was so sweet and cozy. We came for our honeymoon and we were greeted with a personalized note and wine. Wonderful setting close to the city center and Ponte Vecchio. Truly out of a story book!

This was a nice property for the price. The rooms are super small, it felt like a big house with just a bunch of rooms. You open the door and take one step and it is the bed. There is also some kind of air diffuser that smelled awful. The bathroom was very nice. Overall the place was very clean. The only interaction with staff I had was when I asked the guy preparing breakfast how to check out (instructions weren’t clear). He said checkout is at 8AM, so be aware if you’re traveling out early. He let us leave our key in the room though.

I really like the interior design of the whole house. It is a bit of walk from the main station but it is easy to find and located in convenient place to sightsee Firenze. I also like the fact that they have ice cubes, water, and coffee free of charge in the kitchen. The garden we had a breakfast at has a good atmosphere. The owner is easy to get in touch on whatsapp and very helpful.

At check in, Eduardo was super welcoming and accommodating. He made us feel at ease in a foreign country. The housekeeper was a doll. They thought of everything. The room we had was clean and gorgeous. If this could be my home I would definitely live here!

We loved our stay overall. The property is beautiful and the room was very charming. The area around the hotel is easily walkable and about 15 min from central Florence. We ran into a few technical issues, mostly because there wasn't a full time employee working the front desk. Our code to get in didn't work and then our key stopped working midway through our stay. It was all easily solved but we wish everything worked well. I'd still recommend this hotel.

My wife and I loved our stay at Ottantotto in early October. The room (#5) was typical european-sized, but nicely updated. It was spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable. Water pressure and the hot water supply were abundant, although we had to run the hot water for quite a while before we received any hot water if nobody in the hotel had used the hot water supply in a while. Each morning's breakfast selection was fresh and tasty. The hotel staff were exceptionally nice and helpful throughout our stay, and went above and beyond the call of duty to help us with a problem after we left the hotel! The hotel is conveniently located, and an easy walk across the Arno river into the old town and most of the sites you will visit while there. However, it is far enough away to be peaceful and quiet at night. Many choices are availble for dining in the area. If you are packing light and plan to do laundry while traveling, there is a 24 hour laundry located directly across the street from the hotel. Beautiful property, with lovely touches throughout the rooms and general areas. Beds are super comfortable and the shower is excellent. Location is also great, with many excellent restaurants close by and everything you'd want is walkable.

Gorgeous hotel and room, great breakfast. Ideal location within walking distance of most landmarks and sites. Only problem was our room (Room 1) was right next to the front entrance and on the street level, meaning it was extremely noisy and we didn't sleep at all. Really there shouldn't be a room there as I'm not sure how any one could sleep with the constant sound of cars and motorbikes and passerby. Had to get up out of bed in the middle of the night to ask guests convening in the hallway to please move along. Walls are so thin! It would be better used as a second communal space.

Ottantotto Firenze was in a serene location with a beautiful garden and European feel, with a room that provided a nice retreat. Vilket underbart hotell! Rekommenderar alla att bo här. Vi hade rum 2 med en fantastisk utsikt över hotellets lilla trädgård. Frukosten var nylagad varje morgon med allt man kunde önska sig. Sån trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Tack för en jättefin vistelse!

We had a lovely stay here. The room was very clean and beautifully decorated. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was large and powerful. Even though our room was facing the street, there was very little road noise. The out of hours check in process was quite easy - they provide you with a door code and your room card is in a lock box inside the hallway. Breakfast was simple but good and the receptionist was very friendly. The lift is a bit slow but at least there is one! We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was very nice beautiful garden for breakfast, or having a drink. We would have enjoyed it more if we got a room on a higher floor. Try to ask in your reservation for high floor. We were on the main floor and the window to the street.
