the location was great and easy access to the city. It was hot out during our stay so no AC was an issue for me.

rooms are very small. there is no one at the front desk with any regularity. the staff on site don't speak more than one language you should warn ppl that they might be on a third floor without an elevator.

Only problem that we found was on one of the nights it was cold and there is no way to turn up heating but everything else was perfect

Had a 3 night stay at this lovely hotel . Didnt use restaurant so cant say about that ,we were on the 3rd floor ( top floor ) ask for a lower floor if you struggle with stairs as there is no lift at the hotel , perfect location not to far from anywhere , comfortable beds and quiet didnt hear no outside noise , would stay here again thank you 5 star from us

The room was lovely and spacious and we could spread out. It was a great room with high ceilings and lots of natural light, and a fridge. The location is very convenient with a lot of wonderful bars, cafes, restaurants and shops around, not to mention the Jewish Quarter sight seeing and the Barbie museum is 20 metres away. We enjoyed the vibe of the neighbourhood. The breakfast is held in the cafe adjacent to the hotel and it was high quality and good coffee. On the downside the cafe can't cater to gluten free people, but you can bring your own bread with agreement from them. The cafe is popular with locals so don't leave it until the last minute to get breakfast. I didn't see the reception very often but we didn't need any help so it was fine. Getting in to the building on arrival was great as they sent me the door code. The street outside is very noisy until late and if you are short you may struggle to close the top windows. The only cooling was a fan and while we were grateful for that, it was a little bit warm at night and the windows had to be closed. The bathroom was very small also, but on the balance of things it wasn't that important. The cleaning schedule was strange and seemed to run in the afternoon and the cleaners seemed uninterested in taking our dirty cups. I basically had to take my cups to them and insist. The cleaning service could therefore be better.

Great area,ok rooms but needs solutions to times when Poland is 28 degrees and above.if I owned a hotel with heat problems I would find a solution for guests.a tower fan in room does nothing.and with ongoing heat issues in central Europe continuing hotels need low cost solutions.thats my only gripe and am sure most hotels are having issues in kameriez area.thanks for great stay in Krakow we really had a great time

The location was fantatsic for us, wuthin walking distance of most things and close to public transport. There is a great array of resturant bars etc. Our room was extremely clean and of a good size and standard, with a balacony that I expect would be lovely in the summer. We had a great stay. However we did have a couple of issues. Firstly being the queen size bed is actually 2 beds together which causes a gap which was a little uncomfortable. The mattresses individually are comfortable but together as a queen size we felt didnt work. Neither does having 2 single quilts rather 1 large one. Our TV didnt work in our room, which we reported via email as the reception is not manned, but was just advised of a breakdown, no offer of a solution. There is no bar as advertised. The shower head was a bit poor as all the jets spray in different directions and some dont work. We did find the room quite cold if the bathroom door was left closed. The heating was on but it didnt feel the one radiator was enough. The lady who does the breakfast is lovely, welcoming and very accomadating. The hotel is lovely, and spotlessly clean. It was just a little dissapointing with the couple of issues mentioned.

Skøn beliggenhed som ligger tæt på alt i gåafstand og gide bar og madsteder.Hotelet er fint,dog manglede der badekåbe og badetøfler,som der ellers var nævnt og baren var lukket ned.

Really well situated hotel. Only 15 minute walk to the old town square and 5 minutes walk to one of the main tour bus stops. Hotel was clean and communication before was excellent. Room was very comfortable and warm but the shower head needs totally replacing.

Hotellet ligger väldigt bra till med nära till mycket i staden. Det verkar inte finnas någon som jobbar i receptionen. På 4 dagar bytte dem aldrig mina lakan eller handdukar trots att dem var inne i rummet och ”städade”. God frukost på caféet precis bredvid men väldigt snålt att bara 1 kopp kaffe ingår och ingen juice alls.

Didn’t see any staff. Were able to leave bags behind reception before check in. Room size excellent and spotless. Shower was great. Good location and great restaurant options nearby.

Rent när vi kom, men under vistelsen var städningen väldigt dålig (Handfat och liknande städades inte en enda gång på 4 dagar), trots att vi begärt städning. Väldigt lyhört hotell, alla ljud från grabbarna hördes extremt mycket.

Das Hotel liegt im jüdischen Viertel in Krakau direkt an der alten Synagoge. Der Bahnhof für den Flughafentransfer fußläufig zu erreichen. Es ist ein Altbau mit Holztreppe, was mir sehr gefallen hat. Das Zimmer war ausreichend groß und sehr sauber! Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück ausreichend und frisch. Alles in allem ein super Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis. Würde ich jederzeit wieder buchen.

Badly cleaning, ok breakfast, there was no staff at all

Perfect location in Kazimierz Jewish Quarter, right in the centre of heaps of great bars and restaurants. Property itself is adequate but "quaint". Tiny square pillows are very odd and not great to sleep on. Housekeeping didn't change the sheets or properly clean bathroom in the time we stayed, rather just folded everything and made the bed, put out new bottles of water. Staff were helpful and allowed us to extend our stay by a half day as we were catching a midnight train out of Krakow.

Das Hotel ist klein und sehr gut gelegen. Wir konnten vieles zu Fuß erreichen. Das Personal ist freundlich, die Reinigung gründlich und das Frühstück gut. Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig- alles was draußen oder im Nebenzimmer passiert ist gut zu hören und da die Vorhänge nicht richtig schließen, ist es sehr früh schon hell. Die Betten waren sehr durchgelegen.

The hotel has an old-world charm, but my room and bathroom were quite small. The walls are quite thin and you can hear other guests' conversations, but the hotel was very quiet at night and easy to rest in. Despite the thinness of the walls, l slept better here than in any other hotel l stayed in while l was in Poland.

Everything was great! The room, and also the attention, there was nobody but by WhatsApp they provide all the info and help we wanted. The place is really nice, clean and comfortable.

The rooms where clean. I did not know that it was a hotel without staff in the reception, only cleaning stuff. When we got contact with the reception they where very kind and helpful. The breakfast was from a meny and not with a lot of choise. The location was perfect, just to walk outside the door and a lot of restaurants and nice streets to walk on.

No onsite reception, but staff easily reachable 24/7 via WhatsApp. Checking in and out is a breeze. Very clean and spacious suite. Great neighbourhood (heart of Casimir/Kazimierz district).

This listing said they have 24/7 reception But when I got there at 1 AM With a check-in invoice No one was there. I kept ringing the bell and finally someone came on an intercom to tell me that there were no rooms left, and there was nothing they could do for me. Since I was not able to book Another hotel online because it was past midnight guess of that hotel finally helped me find something and took me to there. The service in this hotel is pathetic and there is a great deal of remodeling going on. Avoid this hotel. I had booked and paid for two nights and found a much better hotel in a better area. Now I have to struggle to get my money back for this nightmare I don’t appreciate being left out in the cold and the dark with someone saying there’s nothing they can do to help me because they have no rooms

Sono arrivato al albergo che era chiuso, ho suonato 'intrecom ed ho avuto risposta che l'impiegato della reception non pou venire perche sta nella recption di un altro albergo. Mi haci ha lasiato 45 minuti fuori in strada al freddo.

The hotel is located in the center of Kazimierz which is exactly what we wanted. There is no free parking at the hotel. The paid parking is available but one can't pay in advance for more that 24 hrs which is a problem for someone who is Sabbath observant. I talked to someone on WhatsApp who didn't really care. I wanted to talk to the manager and was told the manager will call me. It never happened. Later I received a text message to talk to the attendant in the morning. There was no attendant EVER. All registration etc is doner via WhatsApp. Also there is no physical key available but only magnetic card to use at the front door and the door to the room - another problem for Sabbath observant, We managed OK but it involved a lot of help and lost time. Overall I managed the weekend. But will never stay there or recommend to anyone. And that is because of the lies I received from, who I expect to be the owner pretending to be only an employee. Multiple contacts with that person yielded more lies.

The hotel is based in a great location with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. The hotel was very clean and warm and provided a comfortable stay.

Property was conveniently placed near the local strip for bars and restaurants. Inside was clean and modern and quiet during the night. Would recommend and definitely stay again.

Stayed at the Shalom Kazimierz for 4 nights. Rooms & beds were comfortable with breakfast next door. Location was perfect for what we had planned with plenty of nearby restaurants and bars. Would definitely consider using Shalom Kazimierz if we visited Krakow again.

Conveniently plaved with shops, restaurants, bars and sights in any direction. Always clean, quite and the breakfast option was great. If I return to Krakow, i will look to stay here again

My husband and I stayed there for 3 days at the end of May.we loved the room, and the location was perfect.it was easy to check in and out for our stay.the breakfast was very good and the staff in the restaurant were lovely.we would recommend staying here.next trip to Krakow we would definitely stay there again

Check-in and check-out were a breeze – we were in and out faster than you can say “Kazimierz.” The location? Top notch! Close to everything we wanted to see and do. The room was fresh and clean, and definitely felt like good value for the price. The lighting, however, had a mind of its own – a bit like a ghost playing “hide and seek” with the lamps. Breakfast was… interesting. Menu-based instead of a buffet, which was new to us. When we asked for a glass of juice, we were told it cost extra – felt a bit stingy, as if the oranges had been flown in from the moon. All in all – a really nice place! We’d happily stay here again. And next time, we’re bringing our own juice. 😉

We booked this hotel mainly on the back of reviews which class tit as 'exceptional'. This is a hotel with lots of character and is well maintained. If you have mobility issues then request lower floor accommodation. Breakfast was very adequate for the size of the hotel, although (like many places in Poland) do not particularly cater for a vegan diet in terms of providing non-dairy milk. They may well have done so if we asked, but it was easier to buy our own from a local shop. Coffee and tea provided in the rooms but no milk. Shower gel was provided in small sachets, so perhaps don't rely on provided toiletries for your needs. We did find it a little noisy late at night from some people on the street who had obviously been having a good time, but this wasn't a major issue for us. Reception is not manned, and entrance to the hotel and rooms is via numeric codes provided via text. Only staff we saw were at breakfast and occasionally a cleaner - all very friendly. Location is excellent being close to lots of bars and restaurants, and a 15 - 20 minute stroll to the main square. There is a very nice, friendly and reasonably restaurant across the road (Wrega) with inside seating and a large courtyard which is definitely recommended. Whilst we cannot fault the hotel in any way for the price, but classing as exceptional may give a false impression. Expect a nice clean hotel with comfortable rooms, but don't expect a 5-star experience.

Ich war mit meinen Enkelkinder in Hotel Shalow von 25/12 bis 28.12 . Das zimmer war groß und gemütlich. Es gibt viele Restaurant in der Nähe. Wir sind nach Stare Miasto fünf minuten bleiben. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und das kosten ist billig. Dieses Hotel finde Ich leise . Ich finde die Arbeiten sehr sympathisch. Wir wollen nachste jahr bekommem , weil unsere urlaubreise super nett war.

Very nice cosey hotel in the middle of the old town. Lots of small bars and restaurants. Fantastic breakfast, friendly and helpful staff.
