Camera nuovissima, di buon gusto e di pulizia impeccabile. Con un comodo bagno e piacevole affaccio sulla via. Cortese la gestione. Zona vivace e ottimo punto di partenza per le visite della città o come sosta breve per lavoro. Noi abbiamo segnato il nome tra i i nostri preferiti su Palermo e lo consiglieremo di certo. Unica cosa da segnalare la presenza di una rampa di scale importante per l'accesso alle camere che per qualcuno può rappresentare un problema.

We liked the property in general. The location was great and unit was clean and spacious. Few things to be aware of, the toilet is on septic tank and make loud noise when using water, there is some smell but not too bad. The units are using very narrow and steep stairs so not easy to take big bags up but manageable if careful. Having said that the location plus and clean unit overcame the negatives. House cleaning was also great.

B&b muy céntrico y limpio en una plaza con terrazas y mucha vida. No hay ascensor para subir aunque es solo 1 piso. No hubo problema para el check in ya que llegamos un poco tarde pero estaba muy bien organizado. El desayuno es en la cafetería de enfrente con unos tickets que te dejan en la habitación.

La ubicación del hotel es perfecta, se accede directamente desde la plaza y está en el inicio de la vía Vittorio Emanuele. La habitación amplia y super cómoda al igual que el baño. La cama un 10/10 y el estado general de las instalaciones del hotel y de la habitación impecables. El personal es muy amable, tanto en la recepción como las chicas que hacen el aseo. Solo un detalle (para mi de menor importancia), el wifi se cortaba mucho y tenia poca señal, pero apenas salís del hotel (en la plaza) podes conectarte al wifi free de la comuna de Palermo que funciona muy bien. No tiene ascensor pero la escalera es amplia y cómoda y es solo un piso. Si tu viaje es por placer no lo dudes, reserva acá y si podes con vista a la plaza mejor!!

Prachtig mooie kamers op een authentieke plek dichtbij het centrum op loopafstand. Met zorg gerenoveerd en gedecoreerd, prachtig uitzicht. Lekker ontbijt. We waren te vroeg maar konden toch inchecken door bellen op afstand. Fijne instructies over waar we gratis konden parkeren. Aanrader!

It is a set of rooms located at the first floor of an old building (without elevator) in the city center. The location is good but very complicated to park your car (I spent more than an hour to find a place 1km away from the accommodation). I'm very disappointed and don't recommend it, very basic equipment, air conditioning (hot) does not work well, lack of isolation of the window (noise cold). Nothing on the floor, not even a carpet... Breakfast (voucher) is just one drink and not more 2 pieces.

Starting from prompt and friendly communication. Very clean room, bathrooms, hallway, stairs - you can tell it is very clean and well maintained. Fresh rooms. A+ location. We loved staying at Kala Rooms. Our room and bathroom were spacious and very clean with high quality linen and towels. The reception made it possible to leave our bags after we arrived early. The rooms are in a very central location. The local area is bustling but the room is quiet and dark with quality shutters and windows. Reception offered great suggestions for local eating. Breakfast off site was simple and delicious. We are planning to stay again next time we are in Palermo.

Kala Rooms were clean and in a good location close to the harbour and main shopping/eating old town tourism areas. The breakfast worked well across the plaza in front of Kala Rooms, with a hotel-provided coupon to a pastry shop for a wide variety of delicious fresh pastries and coffees.

It was very easy to find and the staff were extremely helpful in explaining how to get in, check out, aid me in getting to the airport the following morning. The room was spotless, had a lovely view from the window and the cafe across the way for breakfast was very nice.

My daughter and I stayed for five nights in August and we love the location. The suite is clean. It has easy access to transportation and there’s lots to do right outside this location. I will definitely be returning.

Surprisingly spacious room and bathroom, spotlessly clean in quiet pedestrianised street. 4 good eating options within 100 metres, and don’t miss the gelato and cakes at Bar Luca. Internet did not work for us, but easy to get on in the street via Palermo commune site! We had a lovely stay, thank you.

Hotellet ligger skønt og centralt ved en lille plads. Personalet er søde og hjælpsomme, værelset var rent og moderne og havde alt vi behøvede og lille køleskab. Familieværelset, som vi havde, er stort og rummeligt til en familie med to børn. Der er dog ikke balkon og kun et mindre vindue.

Loved my stay from beginning to end. Self check-in was very smooth. The room was HUGE by European standards. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was served at a bistro/cafe just a minute’s walk from the door of the property. The area around the property was lively, yet quiet. There were dozens and dozens of dining options within a ten-minute walk of the property. I truly can’t say enough good things about the property.

Room was great. It could get a little noisy downstairs but area is excellent. Air conditioner broke down and administrator was notified in the am. When I got back to the room the AC was not fixed. As a courtesy they should have let me know but it didn’t happen. I had to message them and ask.

Logement moderne au pied de Taormine, pas mal de restaurant et plages, ça ne vit que le soir! Stationnement gratuit en front de mer. Attention les chambres sur rue sont assez bruyantes, sinon logement super !!!

Vi fikk et rom uten vindu, noe vi ikke var klar over på forhånd. AC var veldig svak og kjølte ikke ned rommet i det hele tatt. Det var uutholdelig varmt og det ble dessverre altfor dårlig søvn her, noe som gjorde oppholdet lite komfortabelt. Vi fikk beskjed om at ikke noe var galt med AC, så antar dette er hva man kan forvente seg ved et opphold her. Ellers var det rent og beliggenheten er bra med rolig med gangavstand til en liten strand.

Our stay in Palermo was made even more memorable by this charming room thanks to its unbeatable location, perfectly located right in front of a charming piazza. Waking up to the lively yet peaceful atmosphere was a true delight, with the sounds of the city slowly coming to life just outside our window. It was very easy to find and the staff were extremely helpful in explaining how to get in, check out, aid me in getting to the airport the following morning. The room was spotless, had a lovely view from the window and the cafe across the way for breakfast was very nice.

We stayed only one night and for such a short time it was great. Even though we came late and the reception wasn’t open they had a really good and simple way of checking in. The information was excellent! The room were clean and we had everything we needed. And there is a really nice long street with a lot of restaurants right outside so it was simple to go out for a dinner late at night with children.

Perfect location, excellent service, lovely room and view. Friendly, helpful staff. We had a wonderful time in Palermo, a beautiful city. I couldn't recommend Kala Rooms enough, we will be back.

The hotel has a great location near a park, the centre and close to attractions. The room was nice and tidy with a nice balcony. A fridge with a bottle of water and coffee/tea was nice. Communication was fine via WhatsApp, that translates language. You need to send your personal data (tourist tax) before even meeting a person, which is strange. A big downside of this place is breakfast. I have been in 5 different hotels in Palermo and have never experienced to be given a ticket for breakfast at a local cafe. We are not picky eaters, but the only thing we could have, that wasn’t sweet cake, was toasts. Huge thumbs down. Other than that it was an ok hotel. These were nice rooms located in a great part of town. We really liked the walkability and great food at our doorstep. Hot water was iffy but tolerable. Daily housekeeping was a nice touch as was tickets for breakfast at cafe. Very good

Det luktade gott och var rent överallt. Personalen var väldigt hjälpsam. Det var bemannat på förmiddagar och bra kontakt via Whatsup. Trevligt att gå över torget och äta frukost på Lucas café. Kommer man dit tidigt behöver man inte vänta lika länge som runt 10. Fantastiskt läge. Lite högt ljud en natt från gatan utanför.

We had a room for three people (although we were only two travelling- it was what was left available by the time we booked), and really enjoyed how spacious our room was. It was really clean, comfortable beds, quiet, and very good bathroom (powerful shower). We had a fridge for cold drinks. Air con was fine. Not the most efficient, and you couldn't seem to set it lower than 18 degrees (which seemed to be common in Italy, so is perhaps an environmental measure), but cool enough that we were comfortable. Location is excellent. Really convenient and great neighbourhood to explore - plenty of options on your doorstep without it being noisy. Breakfast was served at a bar across the square. You got one savoury item (eg ham and cheese bun / salami bun) and one sweet item (eg croissant / doughnut - try the pistachio doughnut - so good!), plus orange juice or a coffee. The breakfast was nice for a couple of days, but to be honest the limited pastry-heavy options (no fruit, no yoghurt, no eggs etc) did quickly get boring. Staff were super helpful and responsive via WhatsApp (although it wasn't easy to find where their office was on check out to store our luggage - could do with better signage). Please note that the accommodation is upstairs, and there's no lift, so if you have heavy luggage or mobility issues, this wouldn't be the right choice. Overall, would recommend and would stay again, but would make alternative breakfast plans after the first day or two.
