Cozy little motel with the charm of an old one from the 60’s with the small layout. Parking was free and right under the room. Great place for the price and be away from the huddle and bustle of San Diego.

If you’re looking for a cheap motel near San Diego, Coronado, and more, that’s safe and relatively clean, this is it. As a broke college student traveling with her partner, this is my motel of choice for 3 nights. Check in was fast and easy, they put us in a second floor room and the motel has its own secluded, private parking lot; no need for parking on the street. We had a nicer car, so we were worried about that, but not once during the entire stay were we ever worried about the car. No shady people in the motel parking lot, felt totally safe. Even a nice popeyes right next to the motel!! Room was relatively clean for what you pay. Shower was surprisingly great, good water pressure. Sheets were clean, had a pretty big TV. TV was semi hard to navigate. Included a HDMI cord, so we hooked up my laptop and it worked great. Included a fridge and microwave in the room. Overall good, would stay here again. Pleasantly surprised with the quality. Pros: felt safe, relatively clean, quick check in, free wifi, microwave and fridge, good bathroom cons: wifi was very slow, tv hard to navigate at first

This property is obviously being renovated a few units at a time. The one we used was well-apportioned with new fixtures and beautiful tile in the bathroom. The room is definitely small, not even enough room for a chair. I slept fairly well so the bed is nice. Having my car right outside the door was a plus as well, as it made loading and unloading a breeze. I cant wait to see what itll look like when renovation is complete.

Keep in mind it's a motel. The rooms do need renovating, our a/c did not work. Smell is pretty stagnant. The building seems under renovation after an incident. Customer service could use some work, language can be a barrier. Area is quiet at night, good for a last minute stay option.

They just renovated the rooms recently and the are all clean beds comfy tv works and nice shower They are little bungalows so 2 people max Very safe had even the security drive thru at night A great stay convenient to food gas and convenience store parking a little tight so big trucks or suv might be a problem but cars no issues

Is a very little room but is enough for sleeping, is not fancy but it was very clean and easy to access, we have a one bed room and was very comfortable, the parking was free and next to our room, and the price was very convenient for what we needed, I was a little expecting after reading the bad reviews but we just needed a place to sleep for the night and this was the best choice, is not a vacation destination but if you just need to rest is a good choice, clean, cozy and comfortable.

Although the property was in the process of remodeling, the family who owned it was incredibly nice and accomodating! Stay at this motel, meet the owners and definately spend your money in what is a great bargain if your in the right age group to stay there.

It’s great for a 2 star. Clean. Bed was good. Shower wasn’t hot. Towels are old. They are rough and more of a gym towel. Property is dark and parking is tight.

It was dirty, large trash bags outside by the rooms. Parking spot was terrible. The first time I stayed, it was the first floor. It was just ok. I returned ONLY because it was cheap. The second time, I was on the second floor. That was horrible. Never again.

It wasn’t that clean, there was a mystery stain on my pillow, there was a half drunk Jack in the Box coffee, and the microwave was dirty. There was an inch gap under the door. I was honestly a little scared

They gave me room 8, and I noticed a huge pee stain on the bed sheet. I asked to be moved to a different room. Then they gave me room 7, and there was a bunch of mold on the pillow cases. Then they said they were not going to offer me another room and to just contact hotel.com and ask for a refund.

My room was spotless. For a budget hotel it's a bargain.nI stayed over the weekend Fri, Sat, Sun and Mon. It was very quiet with almost no activity the area in front and by the rooms were neat and in order. I would recommend this hotel.

This motel is absolutely disgusting. I didn’t expect perfection but for $87 I expected it to at least be hygienic. It was so bad I’m finding it difficult to describe. First, THERE WAS URINE IN THE TOILET AND ON THE FLOOR OF RHE BATHROOM. There was gobs of hair and staining on all the sheets and towels. The wash clothes were so stained and they were actually rags u but in bulk at Home Depot. There was pubic hair in the shower. EVERYTHING WAS STAINED AND LOOKED UNWASHED. The mattress cover had smears of god knows what all over it. It hadn’t been washed in a very long time. This place is an absolute septic tank.

It was the worse hotel I have ever been in I checked in and within 20 minutes I left. It was disgustingly dirty. Bathroom was dirty shower curtain was stained mirror was gross. The fridge was so dirty as well. I turned on the ac and dust came out I just couldn’t stay.

I've just got catfish by a motel. Crazy, right! The room I got wasn't nearly as nice as the pictures because I was placed in room for handicapped people. What is this an issue? Easy. 1. Bathroom floor would flood because it's meant for someone in a wheelchair. 2. Toilet was in the center of the floor. 3. No closet, no hangers. Unrelated for the room being designed for handicapped people 4. Dirty floors 5. Dirty mirrors 6. No one came in to clean the room 7. The room was musty so I had to keep either the A/C on or opened a window 8. I was handed a remote to the TV letting me know folks steal from this place. 9. Shady property or maybe they're remolding but it didn't match the photo 10. Didn't trust the check-in dude. Kept a close eye on him swiping my card multiple times and checking my bank statements. Never again will I stay here, even for one night. This is what I get for going cheap.

The room was clean. Besides 2 small individually wrapped soap bars, no other toiletries were provided, no hair dryer either. The bath towels are too small. There were only 2 and 2 wash cloths. The towel/mat we used it for the shower floor as it was super slippery. As I looked at pictures when booking the rooms, I noticed that in the pictures there were small refrigerator and microwave but our rooms did not have either nor was their a coffee pot. We also noticed that the fire alarm unit was removed, only the hole and wires were there. We did have a small rectangular table with 1 chair, a TV and a wall AC that worked nicely. The staff was ok. Overall our stay here was just ok. There was nothing special for us to say we would book here again.

This was the worst hotel experience I've had in decades. The room was dark, dingy, dirty. There was a deadbolt but no other security on the door to help keep you safe. The office was not available for entry. You had to conduct your business through a small opening in their window. I left a day early so I could find a better place.

they put a 100 dollar hold on my account that wasn’t told to me beforehand and then not returned until checkout. This was in addition to the room rate. I had to be given a remote control with my room key?? Never had this done before. Also in your listing on Expedia it stated that they offered roll away beds free of charge,this is one of the reasons i picked the room, they do not. And we’re adamantly clear about it. The rooms weren’t bad just not great would have been better with better with good customer service.

The property where the location is at makes sense (you get what you pay for) however I didn’t like that I wasn’t allowed any guests even though I wrote down that I’d be having 2 come over. We almost got to my room and the check in guy yelled from a distance (no guests) that could have ruined my whole weekend. Never again but once again- you get what you pay for.

Cozy little motel with the charm of an old one from the 60’s with the small layout. Parking was free and right under the room. Great place for the price and be away from the huddle and bustle of San Diego.

The check-in was very easy - especially since we arrived late. The room was comfortable and clean, the plants and trees around buildings added a nice comfortable peaceful feel.

If you’re looking for a cheap motel near San Diego, Coronado, and more, that’s safe and relatively clean, this is it. As a broke college student traveling with her partner, this is my motel of choice for 3 nights. Check in was fast and easy, they put us in a second floor room and the motel has its own secluded, private parking lot; no need for parking on the street. We had a nicer car, so we were worried about that, but not once during the entire stay were we ever worried about the car. No shady people in the motel parking lot, felt totally safe. Even a nice popeyes right next to the motel!! Room was relatively clean for what you pay. Shower was surprisingly great, good water pressure. Sheets were clean, had a pretty big TV. TV was semi hard to navigate. Included a HDMI cord, so we hooked up my laptop and it worked great. Included a fridge and microwave in the room. Overall good, would stay here again. Pleasantly surprised with the quality. Pros: felt safe, relatively clean, quick check in, free wifi, microwave and fridge, good bathroom cons: wifi was very slow, tv hard to navigate at first

They just renovated the rooms recently and the are all clean beds comfy tv works and nice shower They are little bungalows so 2 people max Very safe had even the security drive thru at night A great stay convenient to food gas and convenience store parking a little tight so big trucks or suv might be a problem but cars no issues

The one positive comment I can make is that for being a bargain motel, it’s surrounding area did NOT have the usual drug addicts & homeless hanging around. It was extraordinarily quiet! The staff DID respond right away to any questions/problems.

Is a very little room but is enough for sleeping, is not fancy but it was very clean and easy to access, we have a one bed room and was very comfortable, the parking was free and next to our room, and the price was very convenient for what we needed, I was a little expecting after reading the bad reviews but we just needed a place to sleep for the night and this was the best choice, is not a vacation destination but if you just need to rest is a good choice, clean, cozy and comfortable.

The room was clean. Besides 2 small individually wrapped soap bars, no other toiletries were provided, no hair dryer either. The bath towels are too small. There were only 2 and 2 wash cloths. The towel/mat we used it for the shower floor as it was super slippery. As I looked at pictures when booking the rooms, I noticed that in the pictures there were small refrigerator and microwave but our rooms did not have either nor was their a coffee pot. We also noticed that the fire alarm unit was removed, only the hole and wires were there. We did have a small rectangular table with 1 chair, a TV and a wall AC that worked nicely. The staff was ok. Overall our stay here was just ok. There was nothing special for us to say we would book here again.

The exterior of the property is in pretty rough shape. Driveways and parking are horrible. The driveways are only wide enough for one vehicle. It is meant to be one way traffic; one driveway to enter and the other to exit. They have the exit driveway chained closed so you have to enter and exit through the same driveway. If you drive to the exit driveway, you have to back up through the drive aisle because there isn't enough room to turn around. The rooms are pretty clean, but tiny. The TV was pretty outdated and they give you the remotes at the office when you check in. Yeah, remoteS. It takes two to control the TV and the satellite receiver. Not horrible, but not worth the $400 peak pricing for a night.

This motel wasn't in the best neighborhood, but the bus was nearby. The front desk person didn't speak English was it was difficult communicating. The bathroom in the room was filthy, but you get what you pay for! Other than that, no issues.
