A lovely two bedroom, 2 bath apartment, I shared with just my boyfriend, as we like extra space. Stefano & Patrizia met us at apt. Stefano carried my luggage up (3 flights of steps) and my bf carried his own. The steps were fine w/ us (we are 61 and 63 y.o., both in good shape) but maybe not for everyone. The bathroom shower en-suite is a bit small but no problems at all. They left us a bottle of wine and chocolates, a nice touch. Neighborhood a bit further out from City Center than we expected but great restaurants in this residential neighborhood. Very enjoyable stay. Grazie mille, Stefano & Patrizia!

Les hôtes nous ont très bien accueilli. L’appartement est très bien équipé et bien situé. Un garage fermé payant juste en dessous c’est très pratique C’était très confortable et très propre. Il y a une pizzeria incroyable juste à bas de l’immeuble Nous recommandons cet hébergement

We (5 of us, aged 4-73) stayed for 3 nights. The apartment was well situated and very comfortable. The hosts went above and beyond, both friendly and accommodating! There is parking next door, if needed. We arranged for parking through the host with no problem; then chickened out of driving in town at the last minute and the host cancelled for us. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Florence!!!! Thank you for everything!

This is a very well appointed, equipped and stocked home. Great location, excellent communication with the hosts. There are no surprises here. One very spacious shower and another which is good for slim folks. The bedrooms are well separated as are the baths so a very good private situation. Good lighting with really good sound proofing from the street below. Beds are comfortable!!! I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone. To our hosts, I would like to thank you for providing us with what all voyageurs would want while on the road.

Appartement spacieux et propre à 20 minutes de marche du centre de Florence.Pour ceux qui le souhaitent, les bus passent à proximité.Seul petit bémol, il n'y a pas de parking et le stationnement à proximité est cher.

Stefano and Patrizia are indeed super hosts. Great communication and the location is fabulous. The apartment is comfortable, exactly as described and was perfect for our group of 4. Lots of GREAT restaurants within 5 minutes walk, one of which is in the Michelin Book (Podere 39). Getting to downtown and all the points of interest are within walking distance. We also rented a spot in the parking garage next door which was organized by the hosts. Its also a great starting point for easy drives to Pisa, Siena, and San Gimignano which is a must see. Diladdarno Holiday Home is a true gem!

I highly recommend this place. It was super clean, in a great location since we didn't want to stay in the middle of the city center. The host was very kind and even helped us secure a parking garage for our rental car. I couldn't have been more pleased and appreciative of her help!

This is a beautiful apartment that was perfect for 2 sisters traveling together to Italy for the first time. It is in a great neigborhood just outside the Porta Romana in the Oltrarno district. A close walk to Pitti Palace, Boboli Gardens, Uffizi Gallery, Ponte Vecchia, Santa Spirito and Piazza Signoria and not too far to walk to the Duomo area. Alternatively, there is a taxi stand nearby. Note that the apartment building does not have an elevator - thankfully Stefano was there to help us with our luggage. Lots of good restaurants nearby, especially across from Pitti Palace. Tommaso was a very attentive host and we had everything we needed. We had an absolutely wonderful time!

Patrizia and Stefano are wonderful hosts. Smooth communication, very helpful in every way. They even kept a parking spot for us available on the street upon our arrival!We stayed there over Christmas, they were so thoughtful and even had a Christmas tablecloth and Christmas decorations.The apartment is very clean and offers all the comfort to stay and explore Florence. You can easily walk to the old city.Supermarket is closeby and the kitchen is fully equipped.We definitely would come back and stay at Patrizia and Stefano’s place again!Thank you!

This is a wonderful apartment in a very fun section of Florence. Lots of neighborhood, restaurants, bakeries, and fruit markets. Easy walking access to everything in the city. The apartment is spotless and spacious. We loved the hosts who communicated with us anytime we had questions.

Have just returned from a 3 night stay at this lovely apartment. We’re 3 ladies celebrating a 60th birthday. We couldn’t fault the apartment in any way. The location is great, a 15/20 minute walk to the Ponte Vecchio, we also did the red bus tour and had a very pleasant walk from the apartment to the No 1 bus stop, only about 10 minutes away. The apartment itself was immaculate, we made use of the sofa bed in the lounge/kitchen area, which was very comfortable and meant we all had our own space for sleeping. Although we didn’t cook a meal, why would you when you’re in Italy, but there appeared to be everything there if you wanted to cook. Although the property is on a fairly busy road we didn’t have any issues with noise and the area felt very safe. The communication with the hosts Stefano and Patrizia was excellent, we had a couple of questions before our stay and the response was very quick. They were waiting for us on arrival and were very friendly and helpful, explaining everything about the apartment, leaving us with contact details for any emergency, which thankfully we didn’t need but have confidence that should we have had, their response would have been prompt. We all agreed we would stay again if we returned to Florence and it would be an ideal place for 2 couples to share.

We’ve been to Florence many times so we wanted to stay somewhere more local/less touristy and this was the perfect fit. Great neighbourhood, easy access to everything you need and quick 20-30min walk to the main city centre. The apartment is fantastic, super clean and has everything you need. Can easily fit 2-4 people (2 couples) as there are two bedrooms. We would happily stay here again!

Sehr sehr schöne geräumige Wohnung mit 2 Badezimmer, was sehr angenehm war. Gut isolierte Fenster, dadurch war es kein Problem, dass die Wohnung an einer viel befahrenen Straße liegt. Sehr sauber, geschmackvoll und super eingerichtet. Alles vorhanden was man für einen Aufenthalt in Florenz braucht. Bis zur Ponte Vecchio sind es zu Fuß nur 20 Minuten. Sehr netter Vermieter.

We were met by the owner when we arrived, who explained everything that we needed to know about the apartment and area, shops and restaurants. The apartment was beautifully remodeled with modern bathrooms and kitchen. Two large beds with plenty of closet space in both bedrooms.. Whenever we reached out, the owners were quick to respond and gave us lots of help. The apartment was just south of the main tourist area,( Porto Romana ), which was nice to get away from the crowds . 3 really nice restaurants within a block of the apartment with delicious food and service. 2 gelato and pastries shops also. We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone who would be staying in the Florence area.

The home was very nice and clean. Patrizia and Stefano were very welcoming when we arrived and easy to communicate with before and after checkin. The area is nice and quiet compared to the busy city centre, which is about 20 minutes walk away. The beds were comfortable. There’s lots of good cafés and bars nearby, one we really enjoyed, and that is along the walk towards the city centre is Pitti Express. Overall a great stay!

Amazing hosts. Very responsive and helpful. The pictures don’t do the apartment justice. It’s even much cuter in person. Loved the AC. Very clean. Great decor. Very close to catch a cab. Excellent gelato on the corner. Love the plugs at nightstand level. Bathrooms were great although one bathroom shower is very tiny, but can use the hall bathroom. We had to cross the river to do many of our tours, So just be aware, there’s a bit of walking or taking a cab To get to many of the tourist attractions. Florence was amazing and so was the apartment. Five stars.

Our time at Stefano’s was very comfortable. We had everything we needed. After staying in hotels for a few days it was great to have a kitchen to enjoy our coffee with no rush. Having two restrooms was also a great add on! We were avle to move by bus with no problem and each of us slept great !

Stefano and Patrizia have a beautiful apartment in a lovely Florence neighborhood. My husband and two children (ages 15 and 13) stayed for 5 nights and we didn’t want to leave. The apartment is away from the tourist crush and allowed us to walk into the action each day and stop by grocery stores, restaurants, and gelato stand on the at home each night. The apartment has three separate sleep spaces, which provides privacy for all family members. The two bathrooms are large and there is a beautiful new washing machine in the apartment. Everything is spotlessly clean and it has a large fridge and kitchen fully stocked with all cooking tools. Stefano made us dinner reservations in advance. The best meal we had in Florence’s was his recommendation and a 5 minute walk from our front door (Trattoria del Reggerio). Thank you for an amazing stay.

Patrizia and Stefano are wonderful hosts. Smooth communication, very helpful in every way. They even kept a parking spot for us available on the street upon our arrival!We stayed there over Christmas, they were so thoughtful and even had a Christmas tablecloth and Christmas decorations.The apartment is very clean and offers all the comfort to stay and explore Florence. You can easily walk to the old city.Supermarket is closeby and the kitchen is fully equipped.We definitely would come back and stay at Patrizia and Stefano’s place again!Thank you!

We were met by the owner when we arrived, who explained everything that we needed to know about the apartment and area, shops and restaurants. The apartment was beautifully remodeled with modern bathrooms and kitchen. Two large beds with plenty of closet space in both bedrooms.. Whenever we reached out, the owners were quick to respond and gave us lots of help. The apartment was just south of the main tourist area,( Porto Romana ), which was nice to get away from the crowds . 3 really nice restaurants within a block of the apartment with delicious food and service. 2 gelato and pastries shops also. We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone who would be staying in the Florence area.

I stayed here for 5 nights with my 2 daughters. It was a wonderful stay. The hosts were so kind and helpful and even met us as we arrived and helped with our bags. The place is immaculate and very well stocked and we knew if we needed anything we could just send a text, but we never had to. The location is great and we walked to everything at all hours of the day!

Stefano and Patrizia are indeed super hosts. Great communication and the location is fabulous. The apartment is comfortable, exactly as described and was perfect for our group of 4. Lots of GREAT restaurants within 5 minutes walk, one of which is in the Michelin Book (Podere 39). Getting to downtown and all the points of interest are within walking distance. We also rented a spot in the parking garage next door which was organized by the hosts. Its also a great starting point for easy drives to Pisa, Siena, and San Gimignano which is a must see. Diladdarno Holiday Home is a true gem!

It was so nice to arrive and see the friendly waves and smiling faces of Patrizia and Stefano welcoming us. What a perfect place to use as home base to share the beautiful city of Firenze with our daughter and her husband. It was just as delightful, clean, well equipped, comfortable and nicely decorated as we remembered from our first stay. So happy that the DiladdArno Holiday Home was available. Apartment was immaculate and in a great location. Our vacation took us to Florence for a stay in the city. Stefano and his wife were very helpful hosts. We needed a taxi to take a tour. Stefano gave us a good contact for the taxi. Later that night, we tried to walk back to the apartment and had no concerns as the neighborhood seemed very safe. Enjoy.

This is a perfect location to stay to get into the old town and all the must see locations yet just far enough away to have a bit of quiet and not far from a beautiful walk into a residential park area. Great restaurants right on the same street. Easy access to public transportation. Comfortable beds! And the host met us at the apartment and showed us around. Almost unheard these days. And a good bottle of wine to go with our eat in pizza first night meal. 10/10 Miles pizza is great.

Wonderful place for our family while in Florence. We were very comfortable with the space and all the accommodations. The location is great, a bit outside the main center of the city but easy to walk to all the sites. The neighborhood is great with many shops and restaurants. Also an amazing gelato place at the end of the block.

Well appointed as restaurants, shops, coffee, and market all in walking distance situated amongst the locals . Historical canter is a 30 min leisure walk and felt touristy in comparison. Very comfortable stay here. Would definitely recommend .

This home provided the perfect place for our group of four to stay while we spent a week exploring Florence. The apartment was comfortably furnished, clean and well-equipped. We walked easily into the city each day - about 30 mins and quite safe (you must cross a traffic circle, but there are crosswalks - and traffic always stopped for us). This home allowed us to spend time together in a cozy environment just outside of the busy city, without feeling as though we were too far from anything. There are restaurants, a bank, cafe bar, gelato, etc steps from the apartment as well. Our hosts were very accommodating and responsive. They helped make our experience pleasant and memorable.

Spent 5 nights staying here. Communication from Stefano the owner was excellent. It's a bit out of the centre and around 15 mins walk to the Ponte Veccio bridge. However it allows you to explore a more local side to Florence and some much more authentic eating exoeriences away from the massive amounts of tourists in the centre. We tended to spend our days in the centre and nights closer to the apartment. Would definitely recommend for families or small groups who don't mind walking and discovering the more authentic sides to a city.

This is a beautiful apartment that was perfect for 2 sisters traveling together to Italy for the first time. It is in a great neigborhood just outside the Porta Romana in the Oltrarno district. The hosts , Patrizia and Stefano greeted us upon our arrival , explained ins and outs of apt., area etc and how to contact them if we needed anything. Provided suggestions on dining. The apt is in a good location within reasonable walking distance to most sites and city central.It was spacious , clean and beds very comfortable. Kitchen well supplied and even left a complimentary bottle of wine which is a nice touch for a visit to Florence.The shower is quite small so may be difficult for a larger person but we found this to be the case in other accommodations here as well. They also have heat pumps which I imagine would be key in the summer months.The city is beautiful and so much history and things to experience. The food is delicious .. we loved the thin crust pizza and there is a cafe or quaint restaurant on every corner.. we found those in the tourist business in particular to be very friendly and helpful and almost everyone spoke English quite well because sadly, our Italian was limited to a few words. We had a wonderful visit and would highly recommend Patrizia and Stafano’s place.

Great value. Excellent location. Hosts very welcoming and informative about the area. Recommend this property without hesitation. Added to the enjoyment of the holiday. Restaurant next door, pizzeria and grill was amazing. Great food, reasonably priced and welcoming staff. Overall a great stay in a beautiful city.. rubbed the boars nose! So will be back

This is a beautiful and comfortable property. Highly recommended. One of the best restaurants we went to during a three week Europe trip was does down from the property. The hosts were friendly and gracious. I really liked being on the other side of the Arno away from the noise at night but a short walk to get to everything by day

Hosts Stefano and Patrizia were the friendliest people! The property is immaculate with two full bathrooms. The property is a 2 minute walk from the entrance to Piazza Romana, where the best Firenze experiences begin. Dont miss Mila's Pizzeria right next door. We will definitely stay here again.

We had the best time in Florence staying at this VRBO near Port de Roma. The vibe of the neighborhood and the shops near by are fantastic. We especially loved the gelato store at the corner. Thank you again for hosting us!

Stefano and Patricia did a very nice job of welcoming us and making sure we knew what was nearby and how to get around. This rental is wonderful if you like to walk. We took the bus up to Piazza Michaelangelo and walked back. Boboli Gardens, just down the street was delightful. there were so many good restaurants nearby. It was nice to be a little bit away from the very busy heart of Florence.

The apartment is away from the tourist crush and allowed us to walk into the action each day and stop by grocery stores, restaurants, and gelato stand on the at home each night. The apartment has three separate sleep spaces, which provides privacy for all family members. The two bathrooms are large and there is a beautiful new washing machine in the apartment. Everything is spotlessly clean and it has a large fridge and kitchen fully stocked with all cooking tools. Stefano made us dinner reservations in advance. The best meal we had in Florence’s was his recommendation and a 5 minute walk from our front door (Trattoria del Reggerio). Thank you for an amazing stay.

Patrizia and Stefano are amazing hosts. The apartment was immaculate, very nicely decorated, and perfectly represented a “home away from home” concept. We received a very warm welcome with a bottle of wine and cookies, which was above and beyond expectations. They also had business cards of a variety of local dining options that they recommended. They messaged us a couple of times to see how our stay was going. We loved the hosts, the apartment, and we were very happy with the location.

Stafano and Patrizia were absolutely fantastic. Due to unexpected flight delays, we arrived at the apartment very late and they meet us to help us up the stairs and show us around the beautiful apartment. The apartment is very well stocked with kitchen items and the restaurant recommendations we tried were fantastic. The rooms all had AC which was very nice with the high temperatures when we were there. I highly recommend staying at this beautiful apartment. It was perfect for our family of four.
