Stayed for 3 nights at this wonderful little gem. Took my Mom to a Bluejays game in Seattle on Mothers day weekend. She absolutely loved the suite. Everything was great, rooms were nice tiny galley kitchen was perfect, all good. Only worry was the parking is tight. I had a full-size truck and it just fit, was tight to turn around on dead end road. But as long as your not driving a super duty you should be fine. Highly recommend, the views are awesome.

We enjoyed our time greatly. The view is beautiful of Puget Sound, and has a lot of trees and greenery around it, too, which shades the patio in the afternoon. The landlords were very accommodating to our needs.

We had an amazing two night stay. The property has breathtaking views of the water, and a very nice lanai from which to admire it. The rental was stocked with nice towels and linens, and they left snacks for us to enjoy. Very clean home and nice, helpful hosts. Would absolutely recommend to anyone wanting a quiet and peaceful getaway.

This is a beautiful home. The owners provided breakfast foods which was so nice. Eating an omelet on the patio overlooking the Puget Sound was amazing.

Absolutely wonderful space to find some peace and quiet! The house is tucked away high up on the hillside overlooking the beautiful water !! Huge bay windows to gaze out at while sipping something warm! All sorts of EXTRA goodies were provided including some basic groceries (which was so appreciated and unexpected ) . The closets were full of beautiful fluffy towels, bath robes and a million fuzzy soft blankets to curl up in! The fireplace adds to the ambiance and really just lovely!! Parking spot is provided and separate entrance to the unit is well designated and well lit in the evening! I could write pages more about this gem of a place! We will definitely be back!!! Many Mahalos for sharing your beautiful home !!!

My husband and I stayed for 4 days. It was easy to get to from the airport- the location was in a very nice neighborhood and the best part was the view from this little gem! Spectacular Puget Sound views and if you take time to explore the surrounding area- absolutely gorgeous friendly towns! Ron communicated well and Barb was a gracious warm host. We were welcomed with special touches such as snacks milk butter - fresh flowers, everything! We didn’t need to go out for anything! We ate out most nights or had delivery. We didn’t want to leave and if we did- couldn’t wait to get back to sit on the patio. The air temp was fine and the water pressure was great! This was our first time doing the VRBO sort of thing- so this was a great start! If we every come back ( I’m sure we will ) to the PNW- this will be our go-to for accommodations!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Seattle at this property. The property was well maintained, clean, and had a wonderful view. I would highly recommend this property if you were interested in a very comfortable place to stay while in the Seattle area.

What a wonderful property! The view is the first thing you notice, just stunning. But, it isn’t the only thing you notice. The home is tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Beds were high quality and super comfy. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Towels, blankets, etc were abundant and excellent quality. Barb, the owner who lives on sight was there to be helpful, but never intrusive. Anytime you want to stay in this area, treat yourself to this little gem!

From start to finish, Ron was incredibly communicative. He was friendly, and professional, and even reached out when we booked to ensure we hadn’t made a mistake with how we chose to schedule our stay (we split it out with some time elsewhere in the PNW.)In addition to the very clean place, and the amazing view (it really is better than any of the pictures) we also found a book of recommendations for thinks to do from him.On top of all this there were also snacks available when we arrived, and a fluffy bathrobe waiting for each of us!

First off. The view alone makes this property worth it. Very clean and great hosts. Easy access and excellent communication. Located in secluded area, but an easy drive to SEATAC and downtown Seattle. Property was stocked with good coffee, creamer and sweeteners, as well as, muffins, jam and assorted snacks. I would definitely stay here again.

The house was clean and well stocked with items needed for a comfortable stay. They even left some snacks and coffee for us to use during our stay. There were plenty of clean, fluffy and nice smelling towels for us to use. They provided robes in the bedrooms, which we didn't use, but we thought were a nice touch. Spectacular view and easy access to airport and downtown Seattle. Super quiet and beautiful neighborhood. Ron was very communicative and check-in/check-out was a breeze! After booking, we became aware that this is a unit connected to a larger house. It seemed to be a mother in-law suite or basement add on. We were surprised by this, as none of the pictures or descriptions made us aware of this. Additionally, we could not control the thermostat. It was operated and controlled by the person living in the main area of the house. The heater ran continuously. It was loud and very warm for us. We do not typically use high heat. Fans and additional heaters were provided, the fan was very useful to us. The bedding was not as pictured, and was a bit outdated and not completely comfortable. There was an odor in the apartment that wasn't bad, it was just strong and seemingly not an air freshner. It was an old smell. Very hard to describe, but definitely strong. Overall we had a nice stay.

The highlight of this rental was the view! I do wish the description of the rental stated this location was a basement apartment. It was very clean and the host was great but we did hear all footsteps above us and people talking upstairs. I understand that with a location like this that is bound to happen but I was not aware we were going to be in a basement level. Again, beautiful view!

Even though this is a small unit it had everything we needed. Loved the furnishings and the comfort. It was very nice to have a few things in the fridge, because we got in very late do to flight issues. The view was beautiful.

We stayed at Island View for 5 days. Frankly, the view is unbelievable. Whether day or night, sunshine or rain clouds, the view delivers over and over again. It takes your breath away. I can't say whether we loved the night view or day view the best. It's incredible to wake up in the morning and look out through the oversized window from bed and soak up that view. The home is very quiet and made it easy for us to unwind from our busy careers. Bedding was luxurious and mattress was sooooooo comfy. Shower had plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The location is very convenient to everything the Seattle area offers. Just a short trip to central area of Pikes Market and downtown, north to Microsoft or south to Tacoma/Gig Harbor. We especially appreciated the extra touches left for us by the Hosts --- SBC coffee, cookies and snacks plus Cherrios, milk, butter and eggs. We've stayed at alot of vacation homes and no one has made us feel more welcome :-) My recommendation to anyone contemplating a stay in the Seattle area is to book Island View if it's available! It's absolutely perfect!

Most online listings make the view look better than it actually is. This is the opposite. The views of Puget Sound are expansive and stunning. The apartment itself is very comfortable and came with nice touches such as eggs, english muffins, butter, jam, coffee and butter cookies. Access to Sea-Tac and downtown Seattle were easy during our three-day stay. We found this a much better alternative to hotels, but in terms of comfort and view, but also price. We'll be back.

This rental features a beautiful view of Puget Sound and the Olympic mountains. It is in a very quiet residential area, and the owners were very responsive to any issues that arose. This was our second summer to stay here.

This property is wonderful! The view is peaceful and beautiful. We truly enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very responsive to our needs. We were greated with sbacks and luxurious robes to top off our stay.Snacks and And we enjoyed the surprise visits from a very friendly cat!

From start to finish, Ron was incredibly communicative. He was friendly, and professional, and even reached out when we booked to ensure we hadn’t made a mistake with how we chose to schedule our stay (we split it out with some time elsewhere in the PNW.)In addition to the very clean place, and the amazing view (it really is better than any of the pictures) we also found a book of recommendations for thinks to do from him.On top of all this there were also snacks available when we arrived, and a fluffy bathrobe waiting for each of us!

First off. The view alone makes this property worth it. Very clean and great hosts. Easy access and excellent communication. Located in secluded area, but an easy drive to SEATAC and downtown Seattle. Property was stocked with good coffee, creamer and sweeteners, as well as, muffins, jam and assorted snacks. I would definitely stay here again.

The house was clean and well stocked with items needed for a comfortable stay. They even left some snacks and coffee for us to use during our stay. There were plenty of clean, fluffy and nice smelling towels for us to use. They provided robes in the bedrooms, which we didn't use, but we thought were a nice touch. Spectacular view and easy access to airport and downtown Seattle. Super quiet and beautiful neighborhood. Ron was very communicative and check-in/check-out was a breeze! After booking, we became aware that this is a unit connected to a larger house. It seemed to be a mother in-law suite or basement add on. We were surprised by this, as none of the pictures or descriptions made us aware of this. Additionally, we could not control the thermostat. It was operated and controlled by the person living in the main area of the house. The heater ran continuously. It was loud and very warm for us. We do not typically use high heat. Fans and additional heaters were provided, the fan was very useful to us. The bedding was not as pictured, and was a bit outdated and not completely comfortable. There was an odor in the apartment that wasn't bad, it was just strong and seemingly not an air freshner. It was an old smell. Very hard to describe, but definitely strong. Overall we had a nice stay.

The view was spectacular and the condo was comfortable. The host was wonderful! She had great recommendations for dining, sightseeing and shopping. Access to sightseeing, eating, and events nearby were easy using GPS. Everything was very convenient. Would definitely consider staying there again in the future.

Overall, the place was absolutely wonderful. The views of the sound are spectacular, sunsets included. It is a close drive to just about everything in the area, but you don't ever feel like you are in the city. Lovely place to stay!

We had a great stay at this beautiful spot! The views were amazing and we enjoyed our coffee and evenings sitting and looking at the natural beauty! It was very quiet and private and close to the airport and the city.

The property is very serene and private. The views were the best! We loved that it’s such as easy drive to Seattle and other locations, like the airport. The place has everything you would need as far as toiletries. Such a great experience. And Ron is awesome!

Gorgeous view. Welcomed with wonderful coffee, breakfast food (eggs, butter, English muffins and jam) as well as snacks. Restaurant menus and brochures. Games, TV, perfect bedding. I felt like I was in someone’s well-loved home. Thoughtful amenities make a difference. Loved every minute. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing two night stay. The property has breathtaking views of the water, and a very nice lanai from which to admire it. The rental was stocked with nice towels and linens, and they left snacks for us to enjoy. Very clean home and nice, helpful hosts. Would absolutely recommend to anyone wanting a quiet and peaceful getaway.

Most online listings make the view look better than it actually is. This is the opposite. The views of Puget Sound are expansive and stunning. The apartment itself is very comfortable and came with nice touches such as eggs, english muffins, butter, jam, coffee and butter cookies. Access to Sea-Tac and downtown Seattle were easy during our three-day stay. We found this a much better alternative to hotels, but in terms of comfort and view, but also price. We'll be back.

This is a lovely, well-appointed apartment with a stunning view, in a tranquil neighborhood. It's a peaceful and cozy retreat. There were many thoughtful little touches and extras not all rentals have - including quality stainless steel pans and items for that first morning: coffee, butter, jam, and English muffins. Also an array of little snacks - in case you did not yet get to the nearby grocery stores or restaurants. Ron contacted us well in advance in response to queries, and with clear arrival instructions. He also checked in by text before and during our stay. We know the area and had no other needs, but there was lots of info in the apartment and he would have been happy to help. We had no trouble with the steps down to the apartment from the street, or the designated parking space (maybe don't drive a behemoth). We look forward to a future stay.
