Booked a deluxe King room at the last minute. Check in was fast and friendly and the room was very nice. It was a corner room with an extra window that overlooked the beautiful landscape and mountains. It had a nice table to work or eat on, a mini-frig, a comfortable bed with comfortable bedding, and a nice bathroom with a window.They even had a nice gift shop. The innkeeper helped us with suggestions on where to look for moose (successfully) and was very nice. I would stay again.

We stayed for one night and chose this stay because of the location. The views are really nice. There is a firepit and sitting area which would be nice in the summer months. Breakfast was simple and nothing special, but adequate. The beds were not comfortable. The bathroom was clean with hot water. If youre looking for posh arrangements, this isnt it. If youre looking for a good location and reasonable cost, this will work for you.

The front desk lady was super nice and accommodating. The additional fee to have my dog stay with me was only $10 a night, which is amazing. I was a little disappointed to not have breakfast in the winter months but understandable. An update to shower heads would be great, but the room was very clean and stay was very quiet. They were diligent about salt and sand over all the icy ground. The view from our little balcony was amazing too.

Really nice place quiet and peaceful beautiful views of the lake and mountains in Greenville set way off the main rd and plenty of parking for larger vehicles and trailers I had a 26’trailer and had no problem with parking but still only a 5-10 minute drive to Greenville I would recommend getting a larger bed if there is two people sleeping together it was comfortable though

The best part of the lodge was the view, which was wonderful. Otherwise, the room was average to good. I rated it down on cleanliness because they didn't clean up during our two-night stay, which according to a sign in the room, was because of staffing difficulties. I understand that, but it's certainly not ideal. The staff was very good -- friendly, helpful, and efficient.

Staff was great, building needs some work the floor entrance outside was really slippery when wet from dew. Beds could use newer mattresses and updated blankets. Only stayed because former guests said was nice about 3 yrs ago.

Clean room, amazing view and wonderful staff. I love that it's a family owned property so it feels very home-y. Since it's up away from the road, it's so quiet and relaxing. If you're lucky, you'll see deer snacking on foliage and grass while you're sitting on the balcony.

When I am on vacation, I expect my bed to be made and fresh towels left in my room. I was a bit disappointed that I had to ask for my fresh toeels and my bed was not made daily. Other than that, the motel was clean, great view of the mountains, minutes from Greenville shoping and restaurants. Staff was friendly and available

You could almost see the entire 40 miles of Moose Head Lake. the continental breakfast was a little light, but all food was fresh. I would recommend this lodge to anyone seeking a fantastic view and friendly staff.

I loved the Kineo View Lodge. It is located high on a hill, far away from the road, so there is no traffic noise. It was dark enough up there so I could step out onto my private little balcony to do some stargazing. The owners are very friendly too.

This property is outside of town but an easy drive back into town for dining and exploration. It looked like all units had a balcony that faced the woods and you may have a nice clear view of the mountain -- it was cloudy when I was there. Overall, a nice stay, friendly hosts, and close to wilderness. I'd stay there again.

Very clean and spacious room with a beautiful view from the balcony. Set back in the woods and no neighbors so very dark and quiet at night. Downtown Greenville is a 5 to 10 minute drive. A wonderful place to go for peace and quiet and beautiful sunrise views of the western mountains of Maine. The staff are super friendly and nice. I will stay again.

THE VIEWS ARE UNREAL!!! Close to Greenville for dining options and recreation options, state park etc, but far enough and up on the hill that the view is 100/100!

Our room was clean and comfortable geothermal a terrific view from the balcony. The office had an exceptional gift shop and a very cute breakfast area.

we stayed for 1 night up for a wedding. The room was super clean and the bed was very comfortable. Continental is just like anywhere though. Even had coffee on the back porch and saw deer in the field.

Very friendly mother and son run the desk. Views to the mountains spectacular. Building not new and shiny but very serviceable for the price. Go elsewhere for breakfast.

The decorations had a campy feel but the nearby wildlife were great! It is a small family-operated location. Breakfast was grab and go, but there were not gluten free options beyond bananas.

The front desk lady was super nice and accommodating. The additional fee to have my dog stay with me was only $10 a night, which is amazing. I was a little disappointed to not have breakfast in the winter months but understandable. An update to shower heads would be great, but the room was very clean and stay was very quiet. They were diligent about salt and sand over all the icy ground. The view from our little balcony was amazing too.

Nice view, liked the balcony. Quiet. Continental breakfast was basic but nice. Outside of town and in the woods so when I returned to the motel I was in for the evening--not a place to go back and forth to throughout the day.

The location does serve to provide some limited black sky opportunities on the grass side of the building at night. The location is convenient to Greenville and Moosehead Lake without being in the middle of all the traffic. The hotel uses Roku boxes for the rooms. Local Maine news is only available at the giftshop with morning continental breakfast.

We had the suite and it surpassed our expectations. Fully equipped kitchen, clean bathroom with plenty of clean towels. Wrap around deck w chairs and which we used nightly to watch the meteor showers which just happened to happen during our stay! We couldn't have had a better time - saw a moose on our 2nd day. Hiked 2 mountains. The lodge was so quiet - complementary breakfast - just enough to get us on our way. I spent a lot of time debating on where to stay w teens - and most definitely I hit the jackpot here. The grounds are kept beautifully and the views are the highlight of this Inn. Plenty to do - don't miss the crepe cafe in town!
