River Retreat

Great location near mt Buller. The house was very well equiped and there was plenty of firewood for the fireplaces.

Our family loved our stay. The house was lovely and the central cooling was great. We spent a lot of time ambling down the river and playing backyard cricket. We are hoping to return.

My family and I happily stayed at River Retreat over Christmas 2024, We found the river at the bottom of the property the highlight of our stay. Although the running water was only knee deep the grandchildren found using their inner tyres perfect for gently floating down stream again and again. The adults sat their fold-up chairs in the water to cool off & watch the safe progress of their kids having fun. We appreciated the extremely comfy beds and bathing facilities. The lounge dining and well stocked kitchen was extremely spacious yet kept us all in touch with each other.Lauren our go to person was prompt with our queries & communicated well. Only one little hiccup was the dishwasher which was on its last legs. Overall everyone of us thought our 4 night stay was quite unique and special. Jan x

This property is stunning, so relaxing, clean, inviting and surprisingly spacious. We'll equipped property and great communication. Highly recommend, we can't wait to come back.
