Villa Maioris

The villa we stayed at was an absolute nightmare. When we arrived, we realized it looked nothing like the photos. Trying to stay positive, we shrugged it off, but things quickly went downhill. The floors and rooms were filthy, and the bed sheets and covers were stained, some even with blood. The air conditioning was a disaster, especially the one in the downstairs room. It only blew warm air, despite being told it was fixed. The pool was another letdown. It was dirty when we arrived and stayed that way our entire stay, even though they promised it would be cleaned immediately. The worst part was the insects and cockroaches everywhere, even inside the cabinets. The smell and the bugs in the downstairs room made it impossible to use, forcing me to sleep on the couch for the whole week. This experience was beyond unacceptable.

Overall everything was great, we arrived at the evening when all the shops was closed and there was some welcome drinks at the fridge -water/beer/juice- which was nice. The house was big and clean. Pool was great -ok it was quite cold- but still nice. Bus station was really near to the house but still I recommend to rent a car. Big grocery shop was only 5min walk. -
