Enjoyable little town with several excellent food options. The accommodations were comfortable and very clean. We stayed in the Morning Light apartment which only has one bathroom in the primary bedroom. The shower curtain made for tight space but hot water was abundant. Likewise, the apartment has plenty of closet space and could benefit from a full size ironing board and additional mirror. The main living area spacious but could be rearranged for better functionality since the wall mounted fireplace was behind entry door.

We loved that we were in the center of the village in walking distance to restaurants . We loved the free parking in front of the Inn. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the area was so quiet we slept so well. The soaking tub was amazing. If you have trouble figuring it out as I did just ask housekeeping to show you how to switch from shower to tub. The Keurig coffeemaker in the front hall and Starbucks pods were so appreciated. The room was a bit small but we placed our bags under the bed to keep the space more open. We stayed two nights. The housekeeper told us she wasn’t notified that we were a two night stay and our room had not been serviced when we returned from hiking. We decided that could pass since we wanted to relax in our room.

The property was close to the musical venue, Daryl's House. That is why they probably charged $262.35 for the night, What we did not like: dirty blankets, only one stained chair to sit on, bright lights all night coming through the window, 2 old, nasty looking robes, no closet, very loud banging on our room's ceiling at 6 Am which did not allow us to sleep, Water cooler was mostly empty. Susie Homemaker non working ice machine, and tiny, smelly fridge. Never again.

Pleasent stay, very nice inn. Unfortunately, we left leftover food in the refrigerator from McKinney & Doyle and Daryl's Place. Please advise owner Susan Daniels so it can be thrown out. Thanks, David and Leslie Moore

Everything was generally good. Station Inn is very nice and clean. The only thing I would say if you’re sensitive to noise, stay somewhere else. Train goes by a lot with the horn and the wall HVAC is loud.

Great idea to take a big home and turn it into a make-shift hotel idea. Easy and quick to get in, get a good nights sleep and get out. Rooms were very nice too. Only issue, but not the inn's fault is the train coming through every 20 minutes, blaring it's horn.

Walking distance to Downtown Pawling. Quaint house and refurbished rooms. Train comes through often and is annoying but manageable. Would stay again. Less than 5 min to Daryl’s House, which was the reason for the stay.

As a customer be sure to check the location of the room. Is it upstairs? Also will there be slanted ceilings? If you’re tall will they be a concern? BUT then there’s the location of the actual building. Is it within walking distance of a favorite place. Yes. So, read, review, ask questions, and remember your priorities. We had a great stay.

The property was clean and comfortable although the train going by frequently made it difficult to sleep . My room was at the front of the building and . heard people coming in and out . Also they started mowing early the next morning as well. Location is great as you can walk to everything

Station Inn Pawling was a wonderful place to stay. It is sleek and modern inside. It's located right in the heart of town. This means it is easy to take Metro-North to Pawling, disembark, and easily make your way to the other side of the tracks with a roller bag or backpack. I know other reviewers commented on the train sound. I was in Room 22, a Deluxe King, which did not face the tracks. I didn't awaken from train noise at all - maybe because it was the weekend and fewer trains were in use. I didn't use earplugs. It was quiet, restful and lovely. I highly recommend it. I was in town for a Gala celebration at Mizzentop Day School, an outstanding Nursery-8th grade private school. It was so nice to be able to easily walk to and from the Inn.

The room I had 20 faced the trains which shake you awake almost every hour all night Then at 5am the trash people come with a giant truck and start loading and unloading the trash. I think I got about two hours of sleep. It’s not right that guests are not warned about the noise, especially in the front facing rooms. it’s really bad.

The staff was terrible, I understand it is non refundable but atleast have the pictures up for what people are paying for. I basically thought I was getting something comfortable and nice but when I checked in, it was a very small apartment with a little bathroom, when I also paid for a kitchen and there wasn’t. Pls make sure you know what you are paying for, thank you.

It was convenient for our stay to see live music at Daryls. They have a seamless process to check in, rooms are clean, and convenient to walk around town. We did not like that the water for the shower was only warm and not hot.

We have stayed here many times. Always low key, clean and cozy. Trains go by infrequently at night. Hasn’t been disruptive. We like to stay after going to show at Darryl’s house.
